Blah, why can't the GCD just let a good thread die when it's supposed to? Instead they let greed take over and keep it going with thinly veiled discussions just because they want a chance at getting an expensive gift.

A gifting thread kinda seems to defeat the purpose of gifting to me, you know?
It just seems more like "BUY ME STUFF NOW"...instead of someone going out of their way to just do something nice because they feel like it.

What makes them think the anonymous person to begin with is even in the GCD when they go making their "OMG some Anon just finished my quest for me and gave me X" threads. It's bragging more than anything.
I replied once to the original topic of that thread and got bombarded with "We're not all greedy people" put me in my place type of gifts. It's like they have to prove you wrong through things you don't want or need. After that I just watched that thread degrade into what it is now.

Guess who waited tables for the first time this weekend! Whee! Wasn't as easy as I thought it'd be. D;
Not sure if I could do it as a job. This weekend I only had to do so because we had a dinner theater at the college and I wasn't in the show. <<

I was in a couple Dinner Theatre shows. In both shows I always played a guy with a funny accent (as Russian and a German).
