I have lost all motivation after I heard that the Kage positions were filled. I had such a cool idea for being he raikage. In other words, I'd like a nudge somewhere since I actually want to do something

Is it just me, or is a majority of the Kages under twenty-one? That seems a little... Impossible, to me.

Mine is gonna be rather old. But look at the older Kage in the anime and manga. The first and second were rather young.

The only Kage I saw was Sarutobi and the Kazekage was killed by Oro... Tsunade... Hmm... In the anime, I mean.

Yeah, they were in their late twenties-early thirties at the max. Not in their late teens like the Kages in the guild.

I found the Kage thing odd too...
I'm an Assistant Kage and my character is in his mid-thirties! I feel old...

No.
The guild plot is that the former Kage's (probably maturer ones that were much older and had held the position for sometime) were assassinated. Thus, the next in line was selected, albeit some are younger but nonetheless capable. Circumstances speak for this "oddity".
