Lura coughed again and looked up at the green.
As soon as the remedy is made I'll be fine. Thank you for offering.
She said and blinked slowly.
My mother once had the same ailment. It took five months before we found a cure. She nearly died but luckily... father... was able to find something.
She spat the word father and growled slightly.

Samatha looked at Yuran as she perked up her ears. She picked up the dragon iris and pulled out a pocked knife out of her pocket. She carefully started on the dragon iris. "These need to ground up." She held out the herbs to him. "Then we'll need water." She said.

((alrighty...so Eclipse should 'play' with the dragon hunter then? ))
"Hm, I've heard stranger names then that..." She smiled, but Calypso's question made Nari pause for a moment, "A dragon killed my father and sister...it's mate got both of Kai's parents." she stated as she started walking toward the small cave, careful of Kai's wound.

Achiu nodded to Lura, wondering what sort of condition this was. He made a mental note to ask her later when she was better.
He then glanced over at Samantha and Yuran. "Well, it seems the two of you have the grinding under control. Do we have the water or should I go get some?"

You'll have to get the water, though I suppose the waterfall caves are out of the question now.
She said in a slight wheeze.
Calypso was genuinely sorry to hear what Nari had told him and he stayed quiet for a long time.
Sorry to hear that.... Though to be honest, I don't think all dragons are bad. There are some for sure, but I've met nice ones too.
He tripped then and when he put his hand out to catch himself, he strained his shoulder causing him to wince.

Nari's gaze turned cold when she looked at Calypso, but it softened after a second, "You're still young.." she saw him trip but couldn't help cause she had Kai, "It's just a bit further, you can rest once we get there." Nari tried to encourage Calypso, she'd seen kids cry over little cuts so she thought he might need a little help.
Eclipse stalked out and snatched up the fallen sword and pulled Kai's cane out of the guy's chest, "Hey buddy....can't you see they're a bit busy? How about we have a little chat as well...?" He narrowed his eyes as he spoke to Jaicor.

Yamamotos bones creaked while he moved out of his meditational trance. The water of the waterfall crushing down against his body. Based on how he feels, Yamamoto decided that he had only been in out in his trance for only a few weeks, if not a couple months at most. It wasn't uncommon for Yamamoto to be in one of his trances for years at a time. When you're as old as he is a few years here or there is the equivalent to a blink of an eye. Yamamoto felt the presence of new ones on the island, some close, some further. Some of them are in the mist of a fight, if his old senses were correct. Yamamoto stood up against the force of the waterfall and walked into the small cavern behind. His clothing and other items still in the same spot as he left them, not even disturbed by the local wildlife. He bent down, his muscles and joints stiff from the meditation, he streched out his had and grabbed his clothing. Slowly putting on each piece, finnally dressed he grabbed his solid wood walking stick, and slowly walked out of the back entrance of the waterfall. Maybe today he would finally mingle with the newcommers on his island.

Calypso looked over at her and while her back was turned, he scrutinized her carefully. Judging by her reactions, he figured maybe there was hope in getting her to see that dragons weren't all evil. If only Kai would wake up, then he could help to explain what was really happening. He responded to her words with his usual spunk though.
I'm not that young!
He said and puffed up his chest in a cocky stance. He moved to walk beside her.
I bet I'm close to your age!
He said in excitement and his blue eyes sparkled as a result as he looked up at her.

(To save a bit of time, I'm going to assume that Yuran has something in his bag that will hold water. Also, since he's getting dressed, I'm assuming Yamamoto's in human form.)
Achiu nodded. "Alright." He turned and glanced at Yuran's bag before carefully digging through it a bit with one claw. "Hope you don't mind, Doctor." He found something that looked easy to carry and like it would hold water. He pulled it out and got ready to take off. "I'll bring it right back with the water."
Pushing off and spreading his wings, he flew over to the stream where they had been just before. Looking down, he saw that all the scientists were still there, along with Max, Myia and Eclipse. At the moment, his friends seemed to have things under control, so he flew off, praying that they would be alright.
Trying to come up with another place to look for water, Lura's words came back to him. The waterfall. Why not? Sure, it was a bit of a distance, but the water was fresh and clean, perfect for medicines.
Going as fast as he could, he made for the top of the mountains. Landing, he found himself facing an ancient looking man with a long white beard and bald head. He stayed back, not wishing to scare the man. "Greetings, Old One. I have no wish for trouble. I only came to get some water for a friend." He held out the container.

Nari raised a brow slightly as she glanced at Calypso again. "Hm...maybe a few years younger..." She made her way through some bushes and sighed with relief as she spotted the small cave. She stepped into it, learning it wasn't too deep either..about 20ft..but it was enough for now. Nari went to the back and carefully set Kai down, then gently took off his jacket and shirt, revealing a thick scar just below his heart.
Nari paid no attention to the scar or the minor scrapes as he went to work on the freshly bleeding wound, though in the back of her mind she wondered about Calypso...what was an orphan doing alone on this island? From what she knew only people came here for vacation, work, or hunting dragons..why was this boy alone?

"Water eh? You don't have to ask me, water is for everyone. Take as much as you need youngling. To me it seems that you are stressed, before you leave to return, please sit a spell and tell me about your problems. Maybe the wisdom of of an old man could help? The water is that way." Yamamoto finished with a slow nonchalant point behind him.

Achiu was relieved that the old man didn't seem at all disturbed by him, but then he called him 'youngling'. True, if Achiu was to compare his relative age to this man, he would be rather young, but....
Just then the wind shifted direction and Achiu got a good whiff of the old one's scent. His eyes widened a bit as he headed toward where the other had pointed. "You're a dragon! Forgive me, I didn't realize, with you being in your human form." He dipped the container into the water, then returned to the old one and sat. He was eager to get going, but he wouldn't dream of being rude to an elder.
"I can't stay for long. I have a friend who is suffering with some condition that I've never seen before. The water is for her. But... where to begin?" Achiu sighed as he considered. "Well, I just escaped from a human lab today where I've been held captive for quite a while. I was rescued by a young human, and after we got away, we ran into another dragon and his human friend. Then a female showed up to take me to my mate, but on the way there, we heard a youngling being attacked, and a half dozen of us ended up going to his aid. Now most of us are wounded and another group of scientists has attacked, another girl came and kidnapped one of our human friends who is unconscious, possibly dieing, and I already told you one of the females is suffering from some mystery ailment. A couple of the others are working on a treatment for her right now." As he summed it all up, the weight of everything that had happened over the last hour or so struck him and he slumped in frustrated exhaustion.

"These scientist don't sound to friendly, who are they? What do they want with our kind..or, your friends I should say. I do not think that in this state you will be of much help to anyone. You have been on a long journey in just a few days, and it seems that even before you have on the frits. Stay here for at least an hour, I know that your friend is in danger. But I feel if you are to distressed you will cause more trouble than help. If you'd like, I could travel with you. I know some about medicine, and of the plants on this island. I might be able to help...with this sick one, and with other problems that might arise. The choice is yours though. Follow me to my hut, if you want..." Yamamoto said with a soft sigh under his voice. Maybe if he hadn't sought isolation then he could have helped eariler and some unknown people wouldn't be on the brink of death.

((Ivory, Yuran is almost DONE with the Dragon Iris xD. Also, sorry for being gone, had a busy week/weekend))
Yuran nodded to Lura, continuing his work on this new herb. After a little while, he pulled out a bottle of water and added a little bit to plant mush as instructed, and after about two more moments, he held up the tray towards the white dragon, showing the plant the way she'd told him. "Is this right?" He asked, setting it in her view as he began grinding the petals, making swift work of them, showing her them as well. "It is my first time with this plant, I do not even know its properties..." He added, looking up at her. ((Note: I didn't mean to ignore Samatha.))
Max looked back to Myia for a moment as she told him what she did with the soul and why she was crying. "Oh..." He said. Before looking back to Lillia, then to Myia again. If you truly want to do that, and have all of her memories..." He said, now rotating the woman around so that she was more towards the half-vampire, half-soul eater. Deep down, he was a little bit curious to see what it all looked like...

The white dragon wheezed more as she shifted for a better look at the stem and petals. She had to squint due to her bad eyesight but was able to make out the colors and texture after a moment.
Yes, I think that will work well. As for the plants properties, they are quite helpful indeed. You see, the iris may be used as many things. It can be an antidote, used on cuts, a cure for severe sometimes fatal illnesses. It also has a neuro effect which can cure paralysis. It is an extraordinary plant, which is why you mustn't tell anyone of it. If it were to be harvested to extinction, there's no telling what would become the dragons.
She told Yuran before coughing again.
Calypso sat in the cave with Nari and watched as she worked on Kai. He was very worried but he also wanted to try and change Nari's mind if possible.
He'll be ok right?
He asked in a small voice.
I saw what happened. There was a scientist and her warriors. They were the ones that did this. They also killed my father.
He said quietly and grit his teeth.
