Kai saw the blade coming towards him, but before he could even react Zane was there throwing him aside and out of harms way. Kai was able to catch himself on his hands and spring himself back onto his feet before crashing into the wall. His face was emotionless as he stared at Axel from across the room, he was a strong fighter to be sure, but from the way he fought Kai imagined he was a very straightforward person, never one to beat around the bush. That was what Kai most enjoyed about combat, how much you could learn about a person's true self. Only in combat is one's true self revealed, Kai thought to himself, the thought bringing the slightest hint of a smile to his face.
After his small moment of insight into who Axel was, Kai looked over towards the girl that had arrived not long after him. A genuine smile spread across Kai's face as he made his way over to the girl, holding his arms out to embrace her. "Sosay, it has been so long sister. Where have you been?", Kai asked, his voice exuberant. He then turned to Zane, his voice losing some of its warmth as he immediately became a bit more guarded, and said, "Sensei, if you must throw her out I must ask that you excuse me while I speak with her."

The wounds on Axel's stomach healed up nicely as he stood up, clutching his left shoulder with his right hand. "That's smarts," he sighed as he began applying white chakra in order to heal it. "I didn't expect things to go this far, but oh well," he stated as he focused all of his chakra into his shoulder, the wound beggining to close up rapidly as blood ceased pouring out of it.

She didn't need to waste energy on a kunoichi that couldn't follow orders. The pink-eyed girl walked out to the training area with Estelise, stance shifting into an envasive posture. She nodded her head, waiting for the other genin to make her move.

Sosay looked at Zane with huge eyes and nodded her head showing that she understood. She clearly understood that she stood no chance against him in combat. Then as Kai came over to her she hugged him and replied, "It's been too long little brother! I've been looking for you!" She then walked away from everyone, heading out the dojo door, where she stood waiting and wondering if that strong guy, that Kai claimed to be his sensei, would let him come out and talk to her.

"That's fine Kai, you must understand that, I've never liked big crowds," Zane told him. "The fact that I'm even training shinobis is absurd, I've never before this squad, ever trained anyone. So unless the Mizukage assigns her to me, then I'd rather not have anyone in here that's not supposed to be," he explained as he motioned for him to go. "Axel...how are you doing?"

Axel finished healing his wounds as they finally closed up completely. "I'm fine really," he stated simply. Though in reality he was getting extremely tired of this village. Axel grabbed one of his chakrams and approached the area in which Estellise and Outou were fighting. "Hey...you mind giving my weapon back before you get burned by it," Axel yelled out.

Kai bowed to Zane before turning towards the door and following his sister outside. When he stepped outside he moved to sit under a nearby tree, allowing himself to relax for the first time since he had arrived at Zane's Dojo. "So, you said you were looking for me. Is something the matter, my sister?", Kai asked Sosay, the same smile he had shown her earlier returning to his face.

Sosay followed him over to the tree where she too sat down. She noticed the smile on his face and seeing that made her too smile. "Yes I've been looking for you, but there isn't anything wrong! I just missed my little brother that's all! I haven't seen you since you were little... heck, I didn't even recognize you at first because your looking older." she calmly stated. Sosay took a deep breathe after saying all that.

Once the two weapons connected and attack was prevented, Outou nodded to Axel, eyes on Estelise. She waited for Estelise to return the weapon.

Kai was remembering the training his father had put him through, the pain he had gone through. His face became emotionless once more as he moved his hand up to the left side of his chest, feeling the scar that was there, one of the many scars his father had given him."Only through struggle can we grow."

Sosay lost the smile on her face. Memories of when she had to leave her beloved family swept back into her mind. "I heard mother died not long after I was taken away from you guys. I loved her to death... she stood up for us when father was at his worst." she paused for a bit, hiding her face and her emotions from Kai. "I'm sorry I never came back sooner to see you! I feel like I'm the reason you suffered so much pain... I'm sorry Kai. Can you ever forgive me?! I'll understand if you don't."she stated with a hint of saddness in her voice.

"Sosay, you mustn't feel bad about what happened to me, I certainly don't", Kai then looked up at the sky, his eyes distant as he recalled memories of his past,"my life wasn't easy, and father was strict. But he made me who I am today, he made me strong." Kai looked back to his sister, then moved forward to embrace her, "conflict and struggle have made me strong, dear sister. When you were taken from us I was too weak to do anything, but now... no one will take you away again , I swear it.""Only through struggle can we grow."
