Ares or Mars Sindavra Ares or Mars Sindavra Queen-of-the-Rogue Yeah a lot of the posts got messed up yesterday. Do you and Loki get along? Since you know the Norse Gods. What do you all think of the roleplay that we were doing? I say were because no-one's posted for a month.Damn awesome, and you know it. On a slightly different topic, what do you think of this one over here? The Iron Butterfly, I believe it's called. http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/barton-ooc/u-rfly-greek-mythology/t.56256807_1/?sequence=1 Of what there was, it was pretty good. Can you ask the twelve "If you were to write a book about anything what would you write it about?" Ares: You brought this upon yourself. stare Artemis: How to hunt - for dummies! smile Apollo: How to get over the fact that your love hates you so much she turned herself into a tree... emo Aphrodite: You're still going on about that? That was ages ago? I'd write one on how to have a succesful relationship. You would do well reading it. Apollo: And what the hell is THAT supposed to mean?! stressed Athena: A book on war strategies and the like. Which Ares would benefit from if he actually read anything. Ares: Hey! I do too read! scream Athena: Besides porn. stare Ares: ... stressed Poseidon: All the things that make me angry, that you should probably avoid doing! smile Zeus: In other words...everything. Just duck and run. biggrin Poseidon: Not EVERYTHING gets me mad. Sure there's a long list, but not EVERYTHING...And what would you write a book about, oh smart a** one? mad Zeus: How to cheat on your wife and get away with it! pirate Hera: EXCUSE ME?! scream scream scream Zeus: Aaaaand, that's my cue to leave! sweatdrop Ares: Looks like we're not getting an answer out of Hera today. What about you Hades? Hades: Hm...a science fiction novel. Ares: ...That was unexpected. neutral Dionysus: A book on playwrights! mrgreen Ares: I never would have guessed. stare Hermes: ...coffee. Ares: Coffee? Hermes: COFFEE. scream Ares: Uh...don't mind him, okaybackingawayslowlygoingontosomeoneelsenow, HEPHAESTUS, WHAT ABOUT YOU?!Hephaestus: A book on the advances of prosthetic limbs. Hestia: I would write a revised version of our "myths." From my point of view, of course. Makes me wish my family was as interesting as yours. Any plans for the upcoming holidays?

If any of you guys were wondering what the previous posts were, here they are. smile
Sindavra Posted: Fri Nov 27, 2009 5:48 am What're all the Olympian's favorite musical instruments?
Ares or Mars Posted: Fri Nov 27, 2009 9:36 am Queen-of-the-Rogue Wrote: Ares or Mars Wrote: Sindavra Wrote: Is there any musical instrument, that if played in your vicinity will make you want to pulverise them? I can imagine that Apollo hates Bagpipes.
The kazoo.
And don't hate on the bagpipes, just like any other instrument they will sound good when played right. The piano is a wonderful instrument to listen to, but not so much when a 2 year old plays one. Get my meaning? Wow, I sound knowledgable in something for once! Who knew?
Probably comes from listening to Apollo rattle off musical facts. You're bound to pick up on some of it if only to make him be quiet. How do you make one of your siblings be quiet when they start to talk to much for your taste? I would imagine Artemis probably whacks Apollo over the head or something but I'm curious as to how you make your many siblings be quiet.
There are some things you just DONT want to know.
Ares or Mars Posted: Fri Nov 27, 2009 9:48 am Sindavra Wrote: What're all the Olympian's favorite musical instruments?
Ares: You like music alot, don't you? Alright, my favorite would be the drums.
Apollo: The lyre!
Artemis: Trumpet.
Aphrodite: The harp, of course!
Dionysus: That's a hard one...either the piano...or the saxophone.
Zeus: THE CYMBALS!!!
Hera: Oh Zeus, for the love of - ugh, well mine would be the cello.
Athena: My favorite would have to be the violin. Im a fan of almost any string instrument, actually.
Hades: I don't listen to music.
Persephone: He likes the xylophone.
Hades: Oiy.
Poseidon: The Double Base!
Hermes: Im a fan of the piano, myself.
Hephaestus: I like the guitar.
Hestia: Hm, I like the guitar too. small world.

Small world for you gods maybe... Sindavra Posted: Fri Nov 27, 2009 2:19 pm Who are Athena and Hera's favourite authors?
Ares or Mars Posted: Fri Nov 27, 2009 3:13 pm Sindavra Wrote: Who are Athena and Hera's favourite authors?
Athena: Leo Tolsoy, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Kahlil Gibran, Marjane Satrapi, and quite a few more that I can't quite fit into here.
Hera: I've always liked Jane Austen's books, as well as Shakespeare myself. Sindavra Posted: Fri Nov 27, 2009 3:29 pm Are there any habits of the mortals that get on the Olympians nerves? For example, nose-picking, knuckle-cracking etc....

Hmm...having relationships with the people they're supposed to be with, stealing from us, messing with our family, that kind of stuff. Whatever would make you angry, is most likely going to make us angry in the same situation.
Ares or Mars Posted: Fri Nov 27, 2009 3:44 pm And now, for some shameless plugs.
IM RUNNING THE SHOW HERE, YOUR ARGUMENTS AGAINST WHAT I DO IS INVALID!

I must be hanging around those booty grab threads too much...what can I say, you can get a good amount of gold that way! smile I don't USE chat up lines. I have different methods. And before you even say it, rape is always considered a last resort. One that I have not yet used. I've wooed in guises before, I'll give you that one though. Oh...and who the hell put this on the internet? stare http://www.theoi.com/Olympios/AresLoves.html#Persephone

Queen-of-the-Rogue What do you want to do for the thousandth post Ares? I have no clue. We could host a party in this thread. Get Dionysus involved. He's in this guild, isn't he?

AS far as I know he is but he hasn't been on in a while. You might have to haul him back and tell him there's a party.
Did the Percy Jackson series portray Dionysus right?

He's not that crabby...then again, I don't know what his withdrawal symptoms would be like without any wine in his systems. I don't think I'd like to know, personally. confused
