OMG! Yes! I love bubble baths but I can't get out of the tub alone anymore. About the stairs, we're looking for a house to move into before I have the baby. Hooray for only 3 or 4 stairs max! LOL, I also go up the stairs in front of the hubby so that he can kinda boost me going up. I've gotten the overturned bug comment before when I'm laying on the couch. xd

Lol, stairs, the pregnant woman's bane. I've been having to be extra careful because I've fallen down them a couple of times all ready. I've found vacuuming to really take a lot of me and I have no idea why. whee

Yeah, I was doing my share of cleaning up my apartment the other day and I found myself completely winded. Good thing hubby was around to help. 3nodding I'm not allowed to go up and down stairs alone anymore. whee

oh my goodness be careful! I've started avoiding stairs like they were the plague xDfunny story~ i did some laundry today and was sitting on the couch folding it...i was so exausted from the stupid stairs and lugging the basket that i fell asleep folding erics clothes. I woke up to eric waking up from his nap so noone knew it happened it was my ninja nap ninja rofl isnt it funny how the simplest things leave you utterly exausted?! Im just glad we've had a couple cool days cause i swear on those 80-90 degree days getting up and making the trip back and forth to the bathroom was enough for me to feel like i needed a nap blaugh on a side note this week were going to get "Eric" ninja a pool for outside on the patio.

wow i just noticed how close our babys are eek and ditto on the bubble baths but since the weather is getting hotter and dryer ive been adding aveeno oatmeal bath to it to prevent the bubbles (extra soap) from irritating already dry, itchy, and sensitive skin..it feel sooo goooood 3nodding

xd I meant to comment on how close our due dates are but it must've slipped my mind. Horray for ninja naps! ninja Oh and I know what you mean about the hot weather. Us Texans are used to our hot summers but being pregnant makes them so much more irritating! Bubble baths, I use a bubble bath called Skin Milk because everything else dries out my skin really bad. I have eczema. I'll have to try that aveeno bath to see if it helps.

Part of me envies those4 who are still allowed to use the stairs. Part of my bedrest conditions was I was no longer allowed to use the stairs unless my heart started to calm down from the irreegular heart rythyms. I'm sure I would hate using stairs if I were allowed to; but there's something about not being allowed to do something so simplistically stupid that makes one miss it. Well, that and all the condescending looks I get my classmates who don't know I'm pregnant and I'm the only one in the school using the elevator cause its the only way to get to class.

My favorite thing to do is at 7:30 on the dot every night, is to go swimming in the pool. Knowing that I get to do this helps me get through the 95 degree dry heat. Although we did have a nice storm front roll through last week that cooled things down considerably.

Aha, the newest craving is baked potatoes and cheesecake. The thing is, I hate cheesecake with a fiery passion that comes from the deepest depths of hell. So its not coming anywhere near my mouth. Unless of course it gets really bad then I'll break down and consider eating it.

Ugh, my next OB appt is this afternoon. I'm really nervous now. Glucose tests and/or Rh shots. Oh fun. stare But I guess good news is I get to go over the birth plan with her and ask her how I can get ahold of someone in the office easier if I need to. A couple of hours of waiting to return a phone call I can understand.....but 4 days? That's ridiculous.

Only things I miss from my life before pregnancy are caffeine, peanuts (I love peanuts but they make me sick now), the occasional alcohol, and being able to go up and down stairs without being so damn winded afterwards. Going down to the pool is also something I do on a regular basis. The recent rains a few days ago made it impossible though. No weird cravings here. Just pizza, oreos, and potato wedges with the gravy they use for chickn strips at a certain BBQ restaurant nearby(and I didn't have to be pregnant to crave that). rofl Next appointment I have isn't until the 15th. I'm really considering a 3D sonogram before I have the baby but not too sure it'll happen. It would be nice though....

Hikari, you really should complain to your OB office if they are waiting that long to get back to you or try to find a better one.

I've been getting super annoyed with my OB office. It's not the staff, they are really great, if the docs and nurses weren't so good, I'd seriously be raising some hell. But I HATE how the computers mess everything up, so it's really a hospital thing. I went down to get my glucose test today and the order wasn't in. More runaround and I just gave up and will go in another day.

Harleen, I got my 3D/4D u/s and I loved it. I do some promo work for this u/s guy on the side and 30 weeks is a pretty optimal time to see them.

I'm trying to get the dang pool pass thing worked out for the neighborhood, but it's a pain because we rent the house and aren't technical part of the HOA.

Harleen- Oh I understand about the caffiene. I miss my Pepsi terribly. cry

Bwahahahah, after a bit of complaining to my OB about the phone problem I now have a direct number to her staff and to her. ^_^ Apparently the hospital set up the office phone line differently than what the office told them to, and they didn't even know there was a problem. So they gave me a direct number so I can get through to anyone anytime the office is open. biggrin

I looked at getting another OB in case my complaint wasn't taken care of, but the next OB is in another city, and the other 5 in the city all work in the same office with the same phone line as the one I have now. Bu it got all worke out and such. I didn't really want a new OB anyways.

Oh! Grr, ater all that nervousness and such about the Glucose test and the Rh shot.....they're delaying it til the 30th, both of them.....on the same day. It sucks. I'm going to be miserable that day. But my little boy is doing just fine at 153 with his heart, and he's moving around all the time like he's supposed to. ^_^

I also found out my insurance doesn't cover circumcisions. I figure all else fails we can make payments on the bill for it. Now I've already done my own research and talked to certain family/friends about their preferences one way or the other, but does anyone else have a preference one way or the other and why??

Without getting into a debate, my son is circumcized and I will also circumcize this one. I'll just leave it at that, lol.

Glad you got that worked out with them, sometimes you have to raise a little hell to get some good care.

Caffine, I still have a coffee or soda here and there, but I wasn't really much of a caffine person. As long as it's moderate, you can still have it!

Oh I don't mean to start a debate I'm just trying to make an educated decision. The procedure at my hospital costs a pretty penny, and I want to make a good educated decision before we spend that kind of money.

I'm Jewish and I'm looking into whether there are any reasons other than religious ones to circumcise your sons, which I will do for religious reasons. I've seen mixed evidence, and very little conclusive evidence that it does much for a boy's health if you're very careful while cleaning. There may be some mild health benefits, but... I haven't seen anything to strongly confirm them.

That said, there are also mixed results on whether it causes any PROBLEMS either, like sexually. It seems to be a personal choice/preferance, as far as I see it. Maybe someone here has done more research and can say otherwise.

All I know is that I'm going to have it done for my sons for religious reasons, when I have kids.

Caffiene is really only a problem because it's a diuretic. Meaning it pulls water out of your system and makes you need to pee more. Which...dude like a pregnant woman needs to pee more, and you want to be keeping water in your body.

As long as you don't take a HIGH amount of caffiene (you know guzzle down a Veinte Mocha from Starbucks or something twice a day) you're good.

Besides if you've eaten chocolate at ALL during your pregnancy you've had caffiene.

RoseRose: I did the research too on both sides and when you throw out the scare tactics on both sides, "OMG your child will never have a satisfying sexual experience if you circ!" contrasted with "It will be horrifically painful and DIRTY soooo DIRTY if you don't circ, the p***s it is NATURALLY NASTY!!!!" Basically neither side is very strong. I'm the kind of person who needs overwhelming evidence to be provoked into action, so I was not going to circ my kids if I had boys.

BUT I think that both sides don't have compelling arguements either way from a sheer logic stand point so at that point personal experience, familial experience, religion, whatev. is pretty much all you have to base it on.

On the topic of circumsision, it is a personal choice, and dosn't seem to matter which way you decide to go in the long run.

I have decided I will circumsise my son, because it will prevent it from having to be done later in life, it's been shown to reduce the chance of his sexual partner's from getting cervical cancer, it can reduce the chance of his getting and transmitting std's, and can generally improve his sexual health.

That said, it's one of those choices each parent makes for their own reasons and there is an equal amount of information on the, opposed to circ, side of things.
