Tanpopo sat down and drank her tea. She was ready to begin her day, even though her illness still lingered. She was determined to do her chores and someday become a geisha--nothing would or could slow her down.
Tanpopo finished her tea and did her dishes. She went and grabbed a watering bucket, filled it with water, then proceeded outside and began to water the plants. This ritual reminded her of home so much--she loved it.

"you.. you do?" she was suprised by the girls enthusiasm towards the nickname, though Luna had not really thought much of it for she usually had much more to considder and chores to accomplish. She was no longer as nervouse as before, in fact perhaps this girls kind outgoing personality gave her some courage. "Might I ask... what is it like? to go the school and dance and play instruments?" She knew many were curiouse about it herself even more.

She knew many were curiouse about it herself even more."Well," Yukiko replied "The teachers are understanding and patient and the other students are very nice. And if one applies themself to their studies, then it really isn't that hard to learn the shimisan or to dance. In fact...ah..can you get my fan for me?" Yukiko motioned to a low table that had on it a collection of important items. One of them was a fan she used when dancing. "I will show you a few moves."

Sadayakko sighed; the okiya was quite busy today, but though she was a new maiko, she did not know where she fit in any longer. It was no longer her responsibility to rush to the every whim of maiko; geisha were another matter entirely. Now she dressed in much more than rags and held herself with elegant poise befitting her status, but she felt so out of place.
She sat before a low table in the tea room. "Maid? Would you be kind enough to bring me a cup of jasmine tea and a bowl of rice please?" How odd it felt to call to the flurry of maids she had once been amongst.

"Of course, Onee-san, I would like to speak with Yokome-chan first though. If you would not mind . . ." She smiled and looked over Yokome with a small twinkle in her eye.

::Hearing the faint cry for a maid Sasami quickly rushed in the Okiya and went right to work on the tea. First washing her hands then filling the kettle and placing it on the fire. While the kettle was preparing she gathered a small tray and placed a cup and a tea pot on it. Sasami then got the Jasmine Tea and placed it in the tea pot, by now the water was ready. Carefully picking up the kettle she poured the hot water into the tea pot then placed the kettle down so it could cool. She then covered the pot and quickly walked to the tea room.::

::Once in the tea room Sasami, not looking up once, kneeled next to Sadayakko and gently placed the teapot and the tea cup in front of her. Sasami put the small tray on the corner of the table and then proceeded to pour tea for the new maiko. When the cup was full Sasami placed the teapot back down and picked up the tray, her head still looking down she waited to see if Sadayakko needed anything else.::

The geisha turned around and noticed Sasami serving Sadayakko. She did not seem to busy, and the task she had for the maid was quick.
"Excuse me, but what is your name?" She had not known this maid, but she had seen her once or twice with Popo-chan, "You know Popo-chan, ne?"

Tanpopo continued watering. She hummed a sweet tune as she gently poured water upon the roots of the plants outside. It was just like she was home again. She was happy outside in the fresh, soft air. It always made her feel at home amongst the flowers, maybe that's why she spent so much time there and cared so dearly about the Okiya's garden.
Dreams filled Popo's mind. She drifted off in her own world...always dreaming...she was a dreamer.

She lowered her head slightly,and frowned standing carefully she picked up the closed Sensu and gently brought it over handing it off to Yukiko. "thankyou" She didn't know what to say her mother being a geisha had taught her the basics of dancing and she was quite accustom to it. "I wish to make it some day but... I'm far to shy to get anywhere in fact... I'm terrified of men..." though Luna had never admited it she feared men, mainly because of how crule her father had been and abandoning her. Sitting back down she calmly placed both hands on her lap and watched though the expression on her face was calm she was actually feeling rather nervouse at telling so much about herself.

Yokome turned to Iyasu. She saw the twinkle in her eye and wondered what Iyasu wanted to speak to her about. She smilied back with a big smile and said, 'Yes, Iyasu-san?'

Seeing that the maid was not answering at the moment, the geisha turned her attention to Yokome. She beamed to her for she had good news to share.
"Yokome-san, you do not have an older sister yet, do you?" Iyasu asked her hoping that she did not, for another that she was going to take on already had an older sister.

Sadayakko thanked the maid, but when she was about to ask her for her name, Iyasu-san called the maid. She would never dream of interupting a geisha. Quietly, she ate her rice, mulling over recent events. Yokome was about to receive an older sister, but perhaps then she would not mind telling her about her new responsibilities--and what it was like to have an older sister.
The new maiko sighed and tried to recall whom the other maiko were apart from Yokome. She had not served particularly long as a maid, so she had not learned nearly as many faces as she would have liked, especially with how quickly the okiya had grown as of late.

::Quite in shock that anyone other than a maid would care to know her name, Sasami faced Iyasu and waited for her to finish speaking,still kneeling, and bowed to her as she answered her in a very low voice.:: I am Sasami and I am at your service. ::Still not looking directly at anyone but facing the floor in her bowed position she continued.:: I do Tanpopo she is my roommate.

'No, Iyasu-san I don't have an older sister yet.' She said to the geisha. She had a straight look on her face but inside she was so excited! She think she knew what this ment. She hoped she did, and she was overjoyed!
