 Panda sat up and crawled onto Toole's hand and patiently awaited to be returned to Ailes. Ailes finished whipping up tables, and brought some dishes back to the kitchen, "Alright Onora, I'm going to see if i can't get sleeping beauty to wake up, before she sleeps the whole day away.." She walked over to Toole and kissed his cheek, "Ready to leave?" Onora smiled at Akira and nodded, "Alright, It'll be up in a minute. Did you want anything to drink sweet heart?" she asked Akira politely. ~~~~~~~~~ Ive groaned and sat up, long enough to grab the covers and throw them over herself and make a cocoon around herself.

Toole held up Panda; "I think it best he rides with you, besides my pockets are full of junk, and not very comfortable for resting. I'm ready after that, but I take it our next stop is Ive's?"
Akira smiled; "Tea will be fine."

"Well, don't blame me for not trying, but if you're not awake by supper time I'm going to pry you out of bed." Tolly continued to roam about the room as he build another plate. "Toole's in town, I better grab a few more plates." Tolly left the room to head down to the kitchen.

Onora left for the kitchen to go place the orders, and Ailes tucked Panda into her pocket, "Well love, you could get your leather while i stop up at ma's and wake her up... then we can meet up at the inn when we're finished. ~~~~~~~~ Ive continued to sleep despite the warning.

"I guess we could do it that way, I'll be seeing you later on then, and my dad should be there." Toole gave her a kiss on the cheek, and made his way out to the markets.

Tolly returned with the plates and set them down taking up his plate and setting down again.

Ailes smiled and walked up to her mothers house and let herself in. she grabbed a glass out of the cupboard and walked out the back door to go to the well on the side of the house; away from the windows. there she began pumping the arm of the pump to wait for the water to come out. Panda popped his head out of her pocket and looked around, "so... where are we Ailes? it's pretty here." She smiled and stopped pumping to pull him out of her pocket, "This is my mother's house. she has a beautiful garden. you should go check it out." Panda nodded and trotted off to begin his adventure to the garden. Ailes turned back to the pump with a look of frustration and began pumping again.

Tolly heard the pump, and looking out the window he couldn't see who it was since the well wasn't in the view of this particular window. He looked at Ive, then his plate, and decided that the saftey of Ive's property took some measure of importance. He thought she'd forgive him for not being there when she woke up if he was dealing with intruders.
He began cautiously moving downstairs not knowing how many where in the house or outside. He made it to the bottom of the stairs and listened for movement indoors before proceeding any further towards the garden.

"Stupid well!" Panda sat at the edge of the garden and shook his head, "I don't think beating on it is going to make it work any better, Ailes... " he grumbled as he watched her violently shake the well. Ailes grabbed the handle and took a deep breath, "If it doesn't work this time i'm going back to the inn to get a glass of water, damn it!" she shouted as she began flailing her arms up and down as fast as she could, "Work!" the well groaned from the stress on the handle, but nothing was produced and Ailes fell to her knees from exhaustion and frustration. she began tearing up and released the handle, "Please?" Panda giggled and rolled onto a head of cabbage.

Tolly heard nothing but silence and continued on and cracking the back door enough to poke his head out he finally spotted Ailes. "Ailes, is everything okay?" Tolly opened the door fully and stepped out closing it behind him. "I heard the pump from upstairs, but didn't know you dropped in for a visit."

Ailes looked over at Toleranth as tears of frustration streamed down her face, "I need to get the water out of the pump so i can dilute this potion and give it to mom so she'll wake up. But the pump doesn't like me, Y'see, and it won't spit the water out..."

Tolly came over pulling out a clean handkerchief and crouched down holding it out for her to take. "Here dry your eyes, and I'll help you get the water out. I'll need to get some water from inside first."

she took the handkerchief and dryed her eyes. panda crawled over to her and snuggled up to her to comfort her, and she scooped him up, "It doesn't like me... does it?" Panda giggled, "I don't think you know how to use it..." Ailes's head drooped and she sighed, "Gee, thanks... i figured i was a bit smarter than i'm made out to be..."

Tolly looked at Panda; "You may find it funny, but it not really. I think you should focus on helping her feel better, and the time to laugh about it will come later." Tolly put a hand on Ailes shoulder; "Don't feel so bad, the fix is simple, and you'll get the water you need for your potion plus the knowledge to never be in this position again."
Tolly got up and went back inside and grabbed the tea pot which had a good amount fo water left in it and returned to the well. "Alright, i'm going to tell you how to fix it, and i'll hold onto Panda." Tolly set the teapot in front of ailes and held his hand out for the amused crystal.

Panda stared at Toleranth's hand suspiciously and cowered into Ailes's pocket. Ailes stood up and held the pot, "Alright, what do i do.. and if there's water in here i don't need to work the well..."

"True you could use the water in the pot, but then when there is no water in the pot you're back to the situation at hand. Now take the water and pour it into the top of the pump while working the handle slowly, and your wanting to feel the handle get a bit harder to move. That is your que to stop pouring and try to pump again, however if no water comes out repeat with a little more water then you used before. What your doing is called priming, and the theory is that the water you pouring down into the top of the pump forms the air tight seal needed to get the proper suction to draw the water from the well. Once you get it primed it should be okay for awhile until the well is not used for a long time then you'd need to prime it again." Tolly waited to see if it would work.

Ailes nodded and began to pour the water from the tea pot down the well and slowly pumped the handle. as the water poured the handle continued to stay the same; it was no harder to push than a few minutes prior. She stopped pouring and looked over at Toleranth, "I don't think it's working... I think the well doesn't like me because i beat it up..." she frowned as she handed the tea pot to him, "I'm just going to see if mom still keeps a pitcher of water in her fridge." Ailes stepped off the platform surrounding the well and shuffled across the yard to the kitchen door.
