Valzar frowned in concern. "Are you alright?" he asked moving to check on her.

Callista rubbed her head. "Yes, I think so. I just can't focus. My head is spinning."

Callista looked around, confused. "I thought I was sitting down?" She felt around to make sure she was still on the ground. "Valzar, are you trying to mess with my head more?"

Callista's head was still hurting. The pain was getting worse. She curled up in a ball and tried to keep her breathing calm and deep.

"Callista?" Valzar questioned gently already reaching for her mind. He inhaled sharply at what he found there. "You're in pain," he said quietly. "What is happening?"

Callista whispered in a raspy voice, "I don't know. This has never happened to me before."

Callista motioned in the direction of the cave. In the cave there are some healing herbs. If you could bring them to me with some of the rich earth from there, I would be greatful.

Valzar took the image and location of the herbs from Callista's mind and ran to fetch them. He returned a few moments later and placed the healing agents and soil beside her, "Alright, now what?"

Crush the herbs and place them around me. As for the earth, you have my blood in you, so I hope it's enough for you to have the healing agent. Spit in the dirt and pack it around my forehead. She cut off quickly as a wave of pain hit her. Blood was beginning to seep from her pores as she bit down on her hoof to keep from screaming.

Any questions Valzar might have wanted to ask were halted by that wave of pain. He moved quickly, doing as she instructed even though he didn't fully understand why. "Is it working?" he asked quietly as he gently placed the dirt on her brow.

The smell of the herbs stung Callista's nose and brought her back into focus. The cool earth on her head was at least easing the fire in her head. Yes, it's helping. I'm going to go and see what this problem is. I ask you to merge with me and help me stay focused. Please. It was almost a plea. She needed to get in her body and find out what was causing this pain.
