DewPaw you can't just quit! I can't beliave your letting some.. some JERK get to you like this. Please don't quit the guild we just met and I would like to get to know you and everyone else here better. Now how can I do that if you quit? I know your going to read this post.
Tell a mod or admen. They can put a stop to what ever the issue is. If you have any IMs or messages on gaia then they can ban the person and help keep watch over your stuff. If you can tell a mod about the hack before it happens then you migh be able to get your stuff back.
Jus don't leave. confused

Man - oh - man. I spend a whole day working and hanging out with RL people, and all hell breaks loose on the OOC thread!
*ahem* This is my schtick about Dew's Ren Faire Fiasco...
As for Dew's hanging out with college guys IN A PUBLIC PLACE, it's truly is a bunch of overprotective nonsense. Dew has, I'm sure, been taught well enough to not go wandering off to some deserted building or bedroom with one of these guys. And let's face it - guys are pretty well the same whether they're in college or in HS - they're fairly immature and haven't really gotten their crap together. The ONE redeeming quality of college guys is they're SLIGHTLY more responsible (sometimes), and therefore SLIGHTLY more mature. But HS guys and college guys are still both only after one thing, it doesn't matter that they're a few years older.
I was in college when I was 16. ALL of my friends were older than me, and yes, I talked to a LOT of college guys. Granted, I was *in* college, but I was YOUNGER than Dew is now talking to college guys. I honestly don't see what the fuss is about. Dew, from everything she's ever said in this guild is CLEARLY a very level-headed HS student - she doesn't drink, do drugs, party with the bad crowd, or anything like that. Not even robbing banks!! She's smart, well spoken, and has a good grip on reality. There should be no worries when she associates with people (because yes, believe it or not, college boys are still just people, like anyone else) in a public place.
Now. Hanging out in a dorm room with college boys would not be a good idea. Not because Dew would do anything, but you never know how a boy will react when a girl is within 10 feet of his bed. But at the Ren Faire? Come on. It's a bunch of nerds hanging out doing nerdy RP Stuff. I'd wager Blaze is somewhere at or past college age - is it weird for her to talk to him here? Because it's essentially the same thing as talking at a Ren Faire.
You know me - always playing the devil's advocate and standing up for the rights of youngsters. I guess since I was always given crap for being younger I have a tendency to be on the kids side of stuff. ^_^
*ahem*
So, anyhow. Yeah. Sorry I wasn't around yesterday - I got caught up in doing some work stuff (we're rewriting the astronomy lab!!), the got snagged by friends for hang outs, so by the time I made it back to the puter I was ready for bed.
But here I am now! I'm posting in the scenes I'm in! Yay! Can't wait to do this hurricane stuff! pirate
And congrats Autumn for making it in! And Kilies, I can't wait to get to play with ya! And yay for potential new members!
And OMGoodness about the healers! The other girl I was talking to wanted to do a healer as well. But you know, since half the magics require you to have healing first, there's still a lot of room for folks to branch out after getting approved for healing.
And... I think that's all I have to say. So, to recap:
@DEW: Yes, I'm on your side, nothing wrong with just talking to boys, college or otherwise @AUTUMN: Yay for aproval! @KILIES: Yay for ALMOST approval! And getting to know people! @EVERYBODY: YArrrrrrrrrr! pirate

All I can say to you Llune is you have no kids so you have no idea... We will see how you feel when it's your daughter talking to collage boys... Maybe you can direct them in only smoking pot but not doing crack and drinking as well... But enough of that... You said nothing on Dew's leaving... Maybe you just missed it... Man did I just sound like a bi#ch or what??? Sorry must be the mother lion in me leaping out when people confuse muddled thinking with standing up for kids rights... Oh and at 17 yes she should know things it doesn't mean we as parents have to like it and if she lives at home at any age she lives by the rules her parents put down or gets her own place and lives as she wants.

I know that Dew will be back, she's not leaving for good, just switching up accounts for everyone's safety. And she'll read all this.
And yeah, that was pretty crappy thing to say Dancer. Seriously.
Regardless of whether or not your motherly emotions cause you to knee-jerk react to the words "college boys," and "contact juggling," doesn't mean it's *RIGHT*. You may choose to only see things from the mothers point of view, which narrows your ability to see the whole situation. As an outsider I can see where Dew's coming from, and I have plenty of faith in Dew's abilities to make good judgments. Young or not, she knows when guys are acting creepy, and it really doesn't matter if they're in HS, college boys, or grown men. Dudes can be creepy at ANY age, and that's what intelligent women look out for. Not age-profiling, which isn't always that accurate.
... And I had a whole lot more, but I think it's best if you and I hash out our differences in PM form, rather than take up all the room in the OOC thread...
But Jeezus, I don't see why you have to be a sh**ty to *ME* about it. I was only trying to say Dew can take care of herself, at least in a place as safe as the Ren Faire, give her some credit, she's not an idiot.
But anyway, change of subject... Has anyone noticed (or is it new) that dice rolling isn't working?

Well, whenever Dew comes back, we'll be here.
And I'm not going to get involved in this conversation about what's right or not. I never understood the difference very well myself.
@Llune: Yes, Gaia has been buggier than an ant farm lately. stare

my only actual advice to Dew on the college age ren guys is that most rennies are very pini-elf in regards to love making. Having stayed in one's tent for a weekend with out the spouse... yeah.... just be careful and things'll be fine.
