((Roll = 1d20 + 3 DC: 15)) Lula felt the chakra swell inside her, playing a soft melodic beat. It was resolve. She wasn't going to let anything happen to them. And that meant she needed to be ready for whatever was coming. She wasn't going to let herself be caught off guard. She needed to be faster. She needed to be better. She took a deep breath, forming the seals again. Nothing was going to stop her in her pursuit of her new life. Her nin-do seemed to change every day. Today, though, was the truth as she now saw it. There was a hint of it in her nin-do's of the past. Protecting her friends. That's right. I have friends now... She tried to push her chakra to the surface again. Tiger. Boar. Ox. Dog.Bunshin no Jutsu For the first part of the Bunshin training, the students would practice their handseals: Tiger, Boar, Ox, and Dog while building up their chakra. ((Roll = 1d20 + 3 DC: 15)) Lula didn't even notice she had failed, she just knew that she had to keep trying. She could kill people easily enough, but could she stop her friends from dying and kill their opponent? That was the question. She was going to have to keep trying or she would never be able to. Kazumei was almost able to take care of himself, but what good would that do if he didn't have any back up? What if someone else had red eyes, or had a sharingan, and he wasn't able to defend himself? He would die. What if Abel was injured, or Hoshi? And their enemies were bearing down on them. She would be able to stop them with a few well-placed shuriken. But would she be able to do it before they were killed? Would they die because she wasn't fast enough? What if the shuriken didn't hit hard enough? What if they missed the vital points? Strength. Accuracy. If the enemy blasted a fireball at them... Would she be able to stop it? Yes. She answered herself. She would. She would not let that happen. Even if she had to jump in the way to stop it.
Lula formed the seals once more, determined to succeed. Tiger. Boar. Ox. Dog. The chakra began swelling within her. She was going to learn this. And she was going to be there for her team.Bunshin no Jutsu For the first part of the Bunshin training, the students would practice their handseals: Tiger, Boar, Ox, and Dog while building up their chakra. ((Roll = 1d20 + 3 DC: 15)) Lula failed again. She felt the chakra waning, and she renewed her determination. There wasn't going to be anything in her way. She was going to succeed, whether it was today or tomorrow. She wasn't quitting this until she had gone through it. She wasn't stopping until she had perfected it. End of story. Because if one of her team died... She would go on a rampage, destroying every single person who had a hand in his death. She would kill academy students, genin, chuunin, jounin, ANBU, Hunter-nin and even Kages to get back at them. Nothing was going to stop her. She would never be defeated. There was no way she was going to let herself be taken by anyone. She was always going to be there for her friends. And she would make sure of that by training as hard as she possibly could. never stopping. Always growing. That was her way. That was the way it must be.
Tiger, boar, ox, dog. Once again, the chakra began swelling inside her, sounding through her core and filling her body with its notes.Bunshin no Jutsu For the first part of the Bunshin training, the students would practice their handseals: Tiger, Boar, Ox, and Dog while building up their chakra. ((Roll = 1d20 + 3 DC: 15)) She had failed. But she didn't realize just how miserably she had failed. Her mind was elsewhere, trying to prepare for anything that might happen. She was mentally battling hundreds of warriors, examining herself against them. She wasn't ready. She wasn't anywhere near ready. There was going to be hell to pay if she didn't learn to focus herself on her path. Although, she figured she had a good reason to train now. Power... Power... Power was false. Power was an illusion. It was a currency. Power was useless. Meaningless. Power could be traded, gained and lost in the blink of an eye... Strength... Strength was something else entirely. Strength was your self. Strength was the true measure of your being. Strength developed inside you, and could only be lost if you willed it to be. She trained for strength. A tangible substance. She was going to be strong. And she was always going to be there when the time came. Never again would she be taken out of the fight like before. She wouldn't leave her team. She wouldn't give up. Not until they had won, or she had died.
Tiger. Boar. Ox. Dog. Numbly Lula noted the chakra was building up within her once more. She didn't pay much attention at all. There were bigger things. There were more important things. Things that this training was helping to achieve.Bunshin no Jutsu For the first part of the Bunshin training, the students would practice their handseals: Tiger, Boar, Ox, and Dog while building up their chakra. ((Roll = 1d20 + 3 DC: 15)) Failure. But not by much. Lula noted it and continued training. She wasn't going to let something like temporary failure stand in her way. Nothing would. If she lost a hand. If she lost an eye. If she lost an arm. A leg. Nothing would keep her from training just as hard to overcome the hardships. Nothing would stop her from becoming even stronger than before. It was going to be fine. There wasn't a thing in the world that would slow her down now. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Never again. No longer was she a defenseless little girl. She was on her way to becoming a woman. She was on her way to becoming a ninja. She was going to get there. And she was going to stay there. And so would her team. No one was going to be holding her back. She was going to be ready to kill anyone who tried.
Tiger. Boar. Ox. Dog. Tirelessly she worked on, ignoring everything around her and focusing on what needed to be done. She was going to succeed, no matter what anyone said. No matter what anyone did. No matter what she had to do.Bunshin no Jutsu For the first part of the Bunshin training, the students would practice their handseals: Tiger, Boar, Ox, and Dog while building up their chakra. ((Roll = 1d20 + 3 DC: 15)) She knew she had done it, because she could feel the chord building again. It only seemed to strengthen her convictions. Failure was nothing but an obstacle to overcome. Failure was a tiny step to the future. And she was going to be strong in the future. Failure would get her there. Because no one could fail forever. No one was going to be able to fail their entire lives. And she wouldn't, either. Enough failures, and you'll succeed. That was the truth of the world. If you stand for an endless amount of time, flipping pencils in the air, one will eventually balance on its tip. Inevitably, you would succeed. And you'd be all the better for your success, not for your failures. The more you fail, the more rewarding is the success. A man who falls down a mountain every day until he's an old man, and he crests that mountain... He would be much the better man than the one who made it to the top the first day. The old man would appreciate the view more than anyone else. Because no one else had wanted it as much as he. No one else had worked that hard for it.

((Roll = 1d20 + 3 DC: 15)) Lula had succeeded. She realized it all of a sudden, and the chord that built itself was overwhelming. It was beautiful. She smiled. She had done it. Nothing was going to stop her now. She knew the technique. Now to learn to use the technique and perform the jutsu. She laughed. She hadn't even realized she had still been training. She'd been on autopilot. She had been completely lost in her thoughts. She shook her head. She learned the technique, and she hadn't even been here. Oh, irony...Bunshin no Jutsu For the first part of the Bunshin training, the students would practice their handseals: Tiger, Boar, Ox, and Dog while building up their chakra. ((Roll = 1d20 + 3)) CP: 15/15 Lula took a deep breath and focused on the technique. This time, she wasn't going to hold back. This time she was going to let the chakra flow through her body and form the clones. She would do this. And she was going to do it right. Nothing was going to stop her until she was done. She closed her eyes. Tiger. Boar. Ox. Dog. The chakra began building within her, and she forced it through herself and tried to shape it into the clones that she needed.Bunshin no jutsu Part II The second part of the training would be to create the actual clones by using the learned handseals. To successfully create a clone, the student would have to have a total DC of 5. With every interval of 5, the student would make a clone. 5 = 1 clone (-1cp) 10 = 2 clones (-2cp) 15 = 3 clones (-3cp) 20 = 4 clones (-4cp) If a student only has 3 CP, then he cannot create 4 clones, even if his total roll is 20. Resting for one post will gain back +2 Cp (temporary, only for this lesson). They must successfully complete the Jutsu 4 times, regardless of how many clones they create. ((Roll = 1d20 + 3)) CP: 14/15 One clone. One clone had appeared beside her. She looked at herself. It was an okay clone. She released the jutsu and aimed at a higher number this time, now that she was familiar with the inner workings of the jutsu. Cloning wasn't half as hard as she'd expected. Deep breaths. Slow breaths. Four hand seals: Tiger. Boar. Ox. Dog. She hoped for four clones. Anything was just fine, though. More slow breaths. A blast of chakra. Smoke.Bunshin no jutsu Part II The second part of the training would be to create the actual clones by using the learned handseals. ((Roll = 1d20 + 3)) CP: 10/15 The smoke cleared and Lula watched in amazement. Four perfect clones. Every single detail was correct. Even down to the tiny white scratch from the near-death experience with her shuriken earlier. Wow. She had hit the jackpot. She laughed and walked around the clones, inspecting herself. She wasn't half-bad looking. She looked at every curve of her body and marveled at the thought of never needing an obsolete mirror again. She nodded and dropped the jutsu, letting the bunshin fade into smoke and be carried off by the wind. Tiger. Boar. Ox. Dog. Once again, that familiar chakra exploded within her, like a gong sounding deep within a wooden hallway.Bunshin no jutsu Part II The second part of the training would be to create the actual clones by using the learned handseals. ((Roll = 1d20 + 3)) CP: 8/15 Beautiful. Two more clones. They were almost perfect. Very few details were left out. She waved her hand at them and they vanished. This jutsu could have a hell of a lot of uses. Endless uses. Alright. One more and she would complete the assignment. A deep breath. She wanted another four, but she would settle for anything. Forming the handseals, she thought the names and their notes. Tiger. Boar. Ox. Dog. Chakra. Smoke. Would she succeed?Bunshin no jutsu Part II The second part of the training would be to create the actual clones by using the learned handseals. ((Roll = 1d20 + 3)) CP: 6/15 Two more clones. She smiled and waved them away. She was done with bunshin. Now it was on to bigger fish. Bigger jutsu. Bigger techniques. She knew which would be next. Kawarimi no jutsu. It might not serve her much now, with her lack of skill with chakra... But it would help her when the time came. The first of those times might be when she needs to graduate. She nodded. That would be it. Of course, Kazumei might be a challenge, and kawarimi might just save her life. She might just have to go to him for help with Nawanuke, though... He might like tying her up... She thought with a sly grin of what the punishment could be for not escaping...Bunshin no jutsu Part II The second part of the training would be to create the actual clones by using the learned handseals. ((roll = 1d20 + 9 DC: 13)) Lula knew what she needed to do. She picked up the scroll and read through the kawarimi technique. Pretty straightforward. She picked up a rock and decided to try the jutsu out. Sheep. Boar. Ox. Dog. Serpent. She ran through the handseals slowly, but cleanly. She was practiced at performing them, but chaining them together was a little harder sometimes. Focusing, she tried to place her mark on the rock so that she could use it in the technique.Kawamiri no Jutsu The students will use their pebbles from the Henge lesson to practice the Kawarimi technique. ((roll = 1d20 + 9 DC: 13)) Cp: 19/20 The only way to find out was to toss the rock and trigger the jutsu. She tossed the rock a ways away and tripped the switch in her mind that she had felt as soon as the jutsu had been triggered. She switched places with the stone, staring at an image of herself that remained for a moment before puffing into smoke and revealing the rock again. It worked! She laughed and ran to grab the rock, forming the handseals once more Sheep. Boar. Ox. Dog. Serpent. She felt for that switch to make itself known again. This was her next step to being a shinobi. It wasn't going to stand it her way much longer.Kawamiri no Jutsu The students will use their pebbles from the Henge lesson to practice the Kawarimi technique.
