He looks himself over and nods.
Yeah...I will be fine for a little bit. To make a long story short, I have a rare condition...it makes me get tired really easily...that's why I always have to leave so suddenly...I have about 10 more minutes of normal energy before I crash. But once I sleep, I will be fine.

*Synge nodded when you explained your situation. That made a lot of sense now, and she was amazed that she had never noticed before. Being sick a lot herself she would have thought that she would notice someone else like her. She was feeling better now, for the most part, so she slipped off the table to stand next to Ben. Her body was stiff and it was a little strange to be moving, but she also knew it was for the best. She looked like she was feeling better, but also a bit sad at the same time, she didn't want him to leave her alone after this.*
Oh, that makes sense. Er, sorry. I'm glad you'll be fine though after some sleep...I guess I should sleep too...even though that's what I've been kind of doing since yesterday, heh...
*She trailed off and looked around the room sadly. Then she remembered her eye.*
Oh, um...do you happen to have another patch down here in this weird room? I don't think I have the energy to make it upstairs to mine.

When you stand up, Ben steps in to brace you. It almost felt like a hug but he kept enough distance that he didn't get move into your comfort zone.
Woah...careful there...take it slow. Yeah...if you want to sleep...you can sleep on my couch in here...it isn't much but it will keep you from having to move too much. One thing's for sure...you might have been sleeping but I could tell by your heart patterns that you weren't resting. Maybe you can sleep for real this time.
When you mention the eye patch, he seems to have almost forgotten the cut on your eye even though he had seen your face clearly for the past few hours. He seemed to shake himself up.
Oh? A new patch sure... right over here...
He walked with you, semi supporting you while you walked, to a nearby cabinet. He produced an eye patch and let you rest your body against the counter while he applied the patch. He stepped back and nodded.
There you go...good as it can be. Can you walk back to me?
He stood firm and opened his arms to you, prepped to grab you if needed.

*Synge was not thrilled at first to be supported by him, but her annoyance turned into embarrassment so she was unable to say anything. This blushing thing was going to have to stop, she wasn't a fan of it. She also wasn't crazy about the idea of sleeping on his couch, a problem she tried to work out verbally as they walked over to the counter.*
Your couch? I don't know...it is kind of creepy in here...but I guess I can't get upstairs right now...er...
*She stopped there realizing she didn't really have much of a choice, she was going to be alone no matter what so she might as well stay down here and save her energy. She was just afraid of the dream coming back for her. She had no problem leaning on the counter as you applied the patch, but she felt very uncomfortable having him come so close to touching her eye. She blinked a couple of times to see if it was comfortable and then nodded in response to his question. She started to walk towards him.*
Of course I can, I'm not that bad off.
*She was wrong though, and she ended up tripping over her own feet and falling into Ben, who would either catch her fall with him body being in the way or react quick enough to grab her.*

He laughed lightly as he realized the situation he had put you in.
Oh, don't be silly. This is my medical area...my actual room is through here...come on, I'll show ya.
He waited for her to come toward him and when she did and started to fall, he quickly grabbed her making sure not to hurt her. She could smell that scent of his but now sweaty and not as nice as it usually smells with all the other smells.
Come on, tough girl...
He led you through a side door of the medical area and found that he had a slightly larger room than the others without the tatami. It featured a full size bed, a couch, and a desk. It was crisp and clean compared to the medical area.
Here you go...easy now...
He laid you on the couch, elevating your feet slightly and giving you a blanket.
Not so bad, eh? If that happens again...I at least know what to do...just rest...now...
He felt his energy leaving him and barely made it to his bed before collapsing asleep. The room was calm and far removed from the world so it should be calming to Synge.
(( GTG! I doubt I will be back in tonight but we'll see. But I had a lot of fun this time! *Huggles*))

*Synge was glad to hear she wouldn't be sleeping in the so called "medical area", and even more glad to see that she wouldn't be sleeping alone. She was of course embarrassed to fall on him and she just hoped that she would be strong enough to not need his help by the time she woke up. She smelled him all around her and didn't seem to mind. She smiled slightly, glad to be safe after all of this stress and pain. She liked the room too, it seemed safe somehow. She wondered it he was really strong enough right now to be helping her around, but didn't protest. She was laid down without complaint and happily took the blanket to warm herself up. She felt incredibly relieved to her him say that he was willing to help if her she got hurt again. She nodded and watched him barely made it to his bed. Even though he couldn't hear her she said something.*
Good night...thanks.
*She looked around the room for a while, noting all the things that she saw. Soon she felt sleepy and calm, falling asleep soon after. This time she slept naturally and restfully.*

The next morning, Ben wakes up with a crick in his neck and notices Synge is still sleeping. He pauses a moment to note that she looks to be sleeping restfully for once. Smiling at this, he enters the bathroom and takes a quick shower. Once he has completed the shower, he changes into some clean clothes and watches Synge to see if she has been awakened by any of this.

*Synge was sleeping soundly when Ben woke up, and his showering didn't disturb her a bit. She began to toss and turn while he was changing and soon she was opening her eyes to see where she was. A bit surprised at first, she quickly looked around confused. Then she spotted Ben and remembered everything. She sunk back onto the couch and felt embarrassed, wanting to cover her face and hide.*

He notices your tossing and turning and walks over to you, kneeling down by the couch.

*She couldn't help but pull back a bit when you appeared so close to the couch. She held tightly onto the covers, and wondered why she was acting crazy.*

Ben smiles whimsically as he watched you hold on to the covers. He kept his quiet and caring tone.
Feeling good? Then why are you clenching the covers like you're holding on for dear life? I'm feeling much better now that I rest as I generally do but thanks for asking.
His interest in Synge was now gravitating to a non professional and more personal one. Even though he didn't know too much about her damaged eye, he knew he would have to help her again he was really starting to care for her as a person which was a very soothing feeling despite the awkwardness.

*Synge looked down at her hands to realize what she was doing with the covers, at which point she dropped them and made a funny face.*
Er, good question...Maybe yesterday made me a little crazy?
*She nodded, decided that was a fair explanation for why her body was taking control suddenly. She looked him over for a moment, seeing that he really did seem to be alright and nodded.*
Hm, glad that you are feeling better now . Er, thanks for letting me sleep here...

It made you a little crazy? Well that's certainly understandable but you're safe now...and, I mean...if you can keep trusting me...well, this won't be as much of a problem...ya know?
There it was again...the awkwardness...it was an Achilles heel he needed to master if he was going to have any normal friendships. Clearing his throat, he nods and stands to his feet.
Sure! no problem...I could have taken you to your room...but I was afraid that I wouldn't...be there if that happened again and...I didn't want that.
