"Ok. I'm going to take over his body and drive him back into his own mind, leaving him completely defenseless. He'll be perfectly safe, yet completely under control. Happy?"
Hyn's eyes grew subtly wider in disbelief. Inhabit? She was going to possess him! Not a chance. He'd have to wait for the right moment, but...
Moria stared at Link. "Where... where did you come from?" she asked eventually, waving off Zelda's compliment. She was rubbing her eyes, but she had seen Link quite clearly.

Zelda turned pink again and studied the forest floor instead of meeting the other girl's eyes, then realized what she was doing with a start and made pointed eye contact. "Er, yes, sorry about that. Mido wouldn't let him in without the illusion. And we really are trying to save the forest."
Nalani's eyebrows went up. Possession? She wasn't sure what she thought of that. No, she was sure what she thought of that. She didn't like it. On the other hand, if Ganondorf had approved this, and there was no reason to think he wouldn't approve it, there wasn't really much she could say.
"I guess as long as you don't hurt him..." she said, looking over at the Sage. His eyes were a little wider, but other than that, he seemed calm. That decided her. "That's completely fine. Of course, you know the rules; if Lord Gannondorf needs him, he's to be surrendered without contest, blah, blah, blah."
She nodded firmly, turned, and walked toward the door. Just before stepping back out into the cool forest air, she turned back, grinning fiercely. "Have a fantastic day!" She winked at the Sage, and then she was outside, getting on her horse, and trying not to think too much about what she'd just done.

"Yes we truly are, I'm sorry for having fooled you and.." Link began rambling then suddenly something registered in his mind, "Zelda, why haven't you turned back?"

Zelda opened her mouth to answer, then frowned and shut it. "I don't know." She looked odd, almost frightened; then the illusion dissipated, and she was suddenly in complete control of her facial expressions again. She smiled slightly. "Better?" Without waiting for a response, she swept past him. "If we hurry, we might still be in time to save the sage before the trouble even starts."

(I hope you remember that the sage scene took place hours before)
"Right, Link nodded.then lifted the staff from it's resting place on the ground. His eyes followed the path of light into another dark entrance. He began to step forward, when another thought struck him, causing his long elven ears to perk up. He turned around once more tho face the Kokiri, "Are you coming?"

Moria shook her head slowly and laughed. "Mido? If I'd found out about that, well... the little punk does think quite a bit of himself, doesn't he?" Then she frowned. "Well... I... I guess I wanna see how this turns out. As long as you're still around, I guess," she added finally.
"Very well, then. The process will begin... now."
Hyn twitched and made as though to run, but it was too late. There was a bang, and then silence as Hyn fell heavily to the ground. He sat there for a moment before rising. With a chuckle emitted by two voices, one low and gravelly, the other high and feminine, he examined herself, dusting himself off. "Well, this will do quite nicely," the spirit said, and Hyn repeated her exactly. A grin crossed his face. "He's under control, you can go," the spirit said before departing.
Arryl sighed. "You're gonna make this hard, huh? Okay. You're right, I need you alive for me to survive. Problem? If I'm going to die, you're going to die right beside me. Your life is crutched by mine, and if I die, you're going to die too. Start thinking, and fast, or it'll be curtains."

After passing through the arch, Link found himself at the entrance of a large hedge maze. At first, Link thought such a maze would be easy as long as he had the staff to guide him. Unfortunately he soon realized that the path seemed to lead directly to the temple... right through the hedges, "You wouldn't happen to know the way would ya?"

Moria nodded. "I do, follow me," she replied before taking a step into the path, then dodging away when something came bellowing past, a huge spear leveled at where Moria's chest had been a moment before. Suddenly horrifically pale, she fell backwards heavily to a sitting position. Obviously this had never happened before.

"What in the worl'? What was that thing?" Link asked, obliviously forgetting to ask if the girl was injured.
It was well after midday, by the time that Artemis awoke in the extravagant royal guest room. Normally, she would never have allowed herself to sleep in so late, normally preferring to get in a morning training session. However, never before had she slept on such a lush and comfortable bed. The pillows formed to the shape of her head while staying large enough that she could not feel the banister behind her. The sheets were a royal purple and felt as though they were made from the finest silks, which they probably will, and unlike back home, there was not a single grain of sand to be found.
Eventually, however, she reluctantly pushed herself up off of the bed. She was sure that Lord Gannon would wish for her to regale him with the tale of how she captured the sage, but that would have to wait. Right now she wanted to take a bath, it would seem that the royal family even had running water.

Nanani swallowed reflexively before spurring her horse away from the temple and back into the maze.
Zelda raised a golden eyebrow at Link, then turned to the other girl. "Are you alright? You might want to get behind some cover."
(sorry about the short post. Don't really have an excuse.)

"That's never happened before," Moria managed before standing up. She ducked behind a hedge just as the thing came back. It didn't look to the side at all, though; just marched on. It looked like a very large, bipedal pig, but with a heavy lance. "What do we do?" she asked quietly.

"Let me see," began Zelda, her eyes focused on the problem rather than the people in front of her, "We need some sort of projectile weapons to take them out from behind. I could use magical ones, but we might need my power for something else more important later. Link, do you have anything like-"
She broke off and shut her eyes. "I can't believe I forgot." Suddenly she was rifling through a saddlebag that hadn't been there a second before. After a moment, she came up, holding an odd, bulky, claw-like object. "Here, Link. The boy who helped me to escape gave me this; I think it's exactly what we need."

(OK no internet, stuck in a lobby posting tell serif to still take control)
Link looked down at the device and raised an eyebrow and one ear, "What the heck is it?" Link took hold of the object to examine it further, only to accidently press the triger mechanism. A long chain shot out toward the hedges and seemed to latch on. A moment later, Link found himself barrleing through the air towards the wall.
(oh and btw, I edited the pic of Lyra, tell me what you think)

Moria jumped back. "Woah!" she cried involuntarily. There was no indication that the monster had even heard, though; it was still pounding a course around. "So wait... you say we shoot the thing with it?!"

Zelda's eyebrows raised slightly. "That's what I'm suggesting, yes. Unless either one of you has a projectile weapon I don't know about, I think it's the only viable option."
She peeked out after Link. "Link?" she whispered. "Are you alright?"
