At being a called a boy, Koren's expression hardened considerably. He took a few audible breaths and closed his eyes, then opened them again.

No. I respect you alot Cene. You're stronger than me physically, you can handle more stress and abuse than I can, and you are one of the few Mandalorians left with any Taung blood. You could probably best me in the battle circle with your eyes closed.

Koren's face shifted and his expression became very pained and tormented.

I can't afford to go travelling without my gear. I need these things to survive. I know that you are family, that you would never put me in any danger, but how do I know what I will face when I walk out that door? It's no excuse for my rudeness, but you can't call me crazy for being cautious. Especially when you have as many enemies as we do.

Koren blinked a few times and his face resumed a blankened expression. He wasn't sure if he should have been packing his things to leave or just sit back down. Cene was nearly impossible to read. So, unknowingly, he stood there meeting her gaze (a little lesser, though, due to her being taller than him) and spoke his next line softly.

I'm sorry, Cene... that I returned your hospitality with... less than you deserved.

Cene's expression didn't change.
She reached into a storage bin near her seat and placed two Crystal and circuit rods on the table.
"I bought these from a cyberdoc. They're called Plungers. Place one on a door's control panel or on a computer core and it frags it. Like a precision bomb, but with electronics and no boom. I figure with the home cooked meal and a couple of these we'd be even."

Pash learned that several Mandalorian Ships had been sold off that morning with no explanation of where they had come from. In addition, a custom shuttle was seen leaving the academy minutes before it was demolished.

This told Pash two things: Firstly it confirmed the Mandalorians had lost. Winners didnt sell their own ships. Secondly it confirmed that Nakara had escaped from the academy. Sith Lords always had escape shuttles. And they had an uncanny ability to escape possible danger if not dealt with.

Pash knew he had blundered. Had he not been so eager, so impatient, Nakara would have been his. Now as it stood, the Sith lord might be alerted that someone was after him.

But it was not the Jedi way to wallow in failure. The way of the Jedi was a way of perpetual self improvement. This recent blunder had reassured Pash that the methods he had been taught were still the best methods, and that he needed to improve on said methods.

The Force seemed to urge him to follow the only lead he had: the shard of Mandalorian armor. There seemed something to gain by finding out what happened at the weather station. And so he sent a coded message back to Carida, telling of what had happened and what his intentions were.

The Message sent, he returned to his Bothan Freighter and set course for the nearest Mandalorian colony...

Most of the trip Nakara spent in silence, making note of only several practices on the planet which seemed necessary. As the ship landed at the shadow academy on Umbara, he led the way out, showing his clearance whenever acted upon.

The dimly lit hallways were perfect for the assassins whom trained within. Perhaps the second most well known academy in the entire sith empire since the beginning of the war, this was the spot which started the eternal war, or so it was begging to look like.

He/she led the way to a small training hall, devoid of anyone. Nakara made his way to the middle, noting the presence in the force which was minimalized, but not completely gone. 20 assassins were training in the art of being invisible in all means, with the force and by vision.

"Stay here," he said. "Stay alive, if you can." Nakara warned. "This place isn't exactly hospitable."

With that, he left the room, leaving the apprentice at the mercy of the other sith.

Shisstal again nooded his head in agreement to what the cyborg had said. So he stood quietly where he was told to. But something wasn't right. Shisstal felt he was being watched at all times. He put his hand near the sheathed knife he had taken from the Sith Trooper just incase. He wasn't going to let himself screw up now.

“My Lord, there is someone here to see you. She claims to be here on orders from Lord Nakara,” the messenger told Karah Tos.

“Very well, let her know that I will meet with her in one hour in my throne room” the Dark Lord replied. I don't trust Nakara, Karah Tos thought to himself. But we'll see where this leads.

"Do we have an idea on the strength of the Security guarding the station?" Xel asked the Jedi. "Or possible number of Sith Troopers for that matter?"

Amorica was home to a Small Mandalorian Colony and was the closest collection of their kind to Ruusan. He had heard of Amorica from the miners and stated that they had never had any trouble from them. Little was known about the group aside from them being "undefeatable" warriors(Pash was skeptical about this to say the least). They were a group of fishermen and hunters who also carved and exported rocks (large ovoloid chunks of stone that were considered "Artistc" In the Core) from time to time if they needed supplies but otherwise were largely self sufficient.
It was a curious group to say the least.

After a few days travel Pash set down upon the planet: A temperate world with large amounts of Forests and the ocasional jagged mountain range. The world was dominated by oceans with a few large continents. Slightly heavier than average gravity coupled with a standard humanoid supporting atmosphere made the world fairly unremarkable.

Pash knew that Mandalorians did not aprove of visitors, and rather than get shot down over their village by whatever Anti-Spacecraft weaponry they had, he waited until the night-cycle before landing and he landed well away from the Mandalorian village. Entering atmo, however, he encountered a series of rather strange readings: Unusually high metal concentrations, Bursts of comn jamming, odd power fluctuations and othr similarly bizarre phenomenon. More curious was that these readings centered around the location he had pinpointed as the Mandalorian village.
Caution would have to be taken, as usual.

----------------------------------------------

Noon, the following day.
Pash, clad in his stealth suit, all weather cloak, Jedi utility belt and bandoleer, had hiked 27 kilometers in six hours with the speed and endurance only a trained Jedi could manage. Another few hours and he would be upon the Village.

But right now, that thought was far from his mind. For directly before him sat the worn, slightly corroded, and overgrown wreck of a Trireme battleship, wrecked some time ago and left to be buried by the Forest it had landed in.

"Nadd's bones..." Pash murmered as he looked upon the 300 meter hulk of scrap. It was an impressive sight to say the least. One usually only saw a Trireme on maneuvers or barreling down upon them. Rarely was a defeated Trireme found intact.

The Guns had been removed from the thing and Pash could only assume that the whole thing had been pillaged over. What was left or the paint spoke of the vessel being Republic in Origin. Three holes in the side of the Trireme spoke of what sunk it: The holes passed clean through the vessel as though the thing had been made of paper.

Pash hadn't heard of any Republic attacks aimed at Amorica, but there was alot of information he wasnt privy to. But why send a battleship to attack a village of Mandalorians? And how could it lose?

"I have a feeling that these Mandos will not be so willing to talk to a jedi." Pash said to himself as he turned to leave the hulk behind. He could study the wrek all he wanted but it was not why he was here. He had to get to the village and somehow have the locals identify his armor fragment.
It was said, however, that the only things Hutts and Mandalorians had in common were their long memories and their vendettas. And given that his government had seen fit to attack them, Pash was certain that they had not forgotten the slight.

Things were going to prove interesting.

"No. We have little information regarding numbers. However we do believe that the SoroSuub security personel will not put up a signifigant fight. They're not soldiers but corporate security personel which makes then the equivalent to high quality rentacops. The Sith Troopers will be your primary opponents."
PostPosted: Sun Feb 17, 2008 11:14 pm

"That's helpful," the Duros mused, "Do we have any blueprints or specifications on SoroSuub's latest security droids or do we have to look at an older version? I'd rather find out about them now as opposed to later," stated Captain Ando as he went down his list of concerns and questions.

"All we have are demonsration holos on existing models." Stryder said. "Those we can provide. Anything that is strictly for the Sith is unavailable to us. I understand that the Information is scanty at best but I have only recently been assigned this task and my predicessors have left something of a mess. You will have to improvise."
PostPosted: Sun Feb 17, 2008 11:37 pm

"Very well. So how do you plan on getting us to Sullust undetected?" Xel asked Lord Stryder. "Last I heard Liberty left to help Epsilon team shortly after we arrived. I'm sure that Emancipation and Deliverance are with their on missions as well, and Salvation doesn't even work in that area," the Duros recalled the call signs of various ships he had worked with in the past.

"Large capital ships dont often get access to enemy bases." Stryder told him. "They tend to get noticed. Instead, you and your team will disguise yourselves as Freetraders and pilot a ship into the city. We will provide you with that ship, a cargo and proper documentation to complete the disguise. With the amount of freighter traffic Sullust's capital recieves you should be able to move in unbothered by security."
PostPosted: Mon Feb 18, 2008 1:33 am

Do you have a time and date picked out for when you want my team to take control, or are you going to send an encoded message when you arrive?" Xel asked needing to know when to spring the trap.

((By the way, I had meant for all of those to be smaller transports. Most of our missions won't go to well if the sith see a capital ship in orbit or at port.))

((Those are names reserved for bigger ships. You dont name an assault shuttle or a landing craft "Emancipation." You name it "Sith Kicker" or "The Raging Wookiee" or "Lady Luck", naming conventions similar to what American pilots in WWII used with their bombers. Liberty, Salvation, Deliverance and Emancipation are reserved for big ships with lots of guns. Liberator and Emancipator are the names of the two Star Destroyers the Alliance captured after Endor as a matter of fact.))

"You will go on ahead of the fleet and preceed us there. You will have 12 Hours to perform your mission before we arrive. That should give you plenty of time to land unnoticed and make your way to your objectives. We will not have much time to act once we depoloy in system so if the defenses are not down in time we will be forced to begin orbital Bombardment to soften the target weither you are in there or not. As Ive stated before, your mission is crucial to a swift conquest of Sullust."
