He looked up at the sky, watching as the beauty and radience of it shined down upon him. "There was this girl..." He started out saying. "She... She was the first one to befriend me... To see past my brother and actually look at his shadow... As you've probably guessed already... I don't make too many friends... And most of the people I'm introduced to is through my brother..." He said, sighing. "She was so kind... And sweet... With the personality of an angel... She helped me through my rough times... And she brought me out of my little shell that I lived in for so long... But... She didn't want me..." Then, he remembered that one time that she had come over to his mansion... And the wonderful experience she had given him.... The one that turned into the nightmare of the next day. "We're still friends, though... But I don't see her as often... So... I stopped going out for awhile again... And recently I decided to once again venture out..." He said and squeezed her hand gently. "One time I went for 13 years without venturing out of the mansion..." He said abruptly. "All I did was read... And make up my own fantasies of people I'd meet and places I'd go...." He didn't want to tell her the reason that he hadn't left his house for that long of a time.... He wasn't ready to tell her that yet.... He thought that it might drive her away...

Madison listened to his story without interupting. It seemed so like that of her fairy tale, only to end in a tragic william shakespear way. It almost pained her to relise that this however was not a story and there would not be a magic god-mother to help Fang. Her inside squirmed remembering how she herself had at first indeed been more interested in his brother then him. The gentle squeeze on her hand had made her relize he had been talking about when he had ventured out and met her. It seemed almost cruel that whoever had created the univers could let Fang feel like this. Like he had been...rejected or not wanted in a way. 13 years witout ever leaving a house seemed to long a time to her. To not be seen or headr of. Like a child's toy that was no longer wanted. She squeezed back as well, feeling his surprisingly firm grip. Well,if it happens again you should give me a call. I'm not sure I could really understand it but I'd try to help as best I could. She smiled meekly at him, puzzling what else she could do. A hug seemed to bold but just sitting there seemed to uncaring.

Fang looked over at her and gave her a weak smile. He hoped that he hadn't made her sad... It was his life... And somehow, he was used to it now... He was never angry at his brother... Because he knew his brother couldn't help it... He was a social butterfly... Fang was more of a moth... "Don't worry... I realize that this is how my life is... And I'm fine with it...." Though, he really wasn't... He had wished many times... And still did... That he was like his brother...

I guess we all have to deal with our own lives right? It's allways going to be there and the only way to truly get out of it is too hard for really..anyone to do. She sighed. It was mostly at times like this that she wished shad had a sister or even an aunt to hold her for at least a second and tell her that they would get through it no matter what. The last sentence Fang had said seemed almost....hollow. It was either he was fine with it and just didn't want to really talk or he was merely liaing, thinking other more blissful thoughts that could probabbly ever happen. There were too many injustices in the world and not enough hero's to fix them all. She wrapped her other arm around his and gave him sort of a half hug. If it didn't comfort him it did her.

The hug did make him feel a little better... But he guessed that he wasn't the only one who needed cheering up. He hugged her back gently. He wasn't actually very good with women... And he didn't know what to to... Even though he had read tons of romance novels, he knew that everyone was different and had different things they liked and didn't like. "I'm sorry... If I'm not doing a good job at trying to make you happier..." He said in a soft voice.

Madison enjoyed his warmth for a minute, feeling for at least a short while a bit better. She looked him in the eyes, smiling. Trust me just seeing you has made me feel a little better. She said it in the same tone as him. The divine only know how much she had wanted to go out and talk with someone. Charlotte had always occupied her with one job or another. She hoped she had made him feel a little better too. Whatever problems they both had,it seemed they could both make each others a little better. She smiled at the thought and breathed in deeply.

He smiled back at her. "Well, it's good to know that someone will notice if I die now." He really did seem happy at the thought. Though he knew his family would miss him... No one in the outside world would have... Tasi had more friends now.. So she didn't have time for him... And she always felt awkward nowadays when he was present... Just knowing that someone would miss him on the outside made him feel a lot better.

Madison released her hug. She wanted to say it was silly of him to think no one would miss him. She lay there for a while thinking of anything else to say. The silence between them almost seemed more then any real words could say. she looked back at him and released his hand as well. In other new I've been practicing a little with those fire tricks I showed you.... She let it trail off slightly as she clapped her hands together and after13 seconds slowly opened them. She turned her head away and squinted with one at what she hoped would be her spell. As they opened to her flat palm a small egg emerged and went through the stages of life at an alarming rate. it's entire being was a form of fire and flames yet her hands remained un-scorched. Soon she had a large phoenix standing the palm of her hand. It's eyes were merely pools of light and a small heat resonated from it, but that was all. you wouldn't believe how much research and practice went into him. He can't stay though. it ends up sort of....smoulding like embers. She watched half sadly and proudly as her creation jumped over to Fang and rested gently on his knee.

Fang was amazed. He had never seen anything like that in his life. "Wow! That's awsome!" Actually sounding excited for once. He stared at the creature on his knee and smiled. "I could never do anything like that... Hah, I can't even control what happens to me sometimes..." He hoped that he hadn't jynxed himself by saying that. He looked in all directions to make sure he was safe. "Phew...."

Madison was surprised at his overall amazement. As far as she knew others in the underground had far greater abilities. Unless raising the dead was a humble feat. what do you mean...you can't control your life? She cocked her head to the side in a puzzled expression. Although she know of the many things people said to guide them star sighn, zodiac, planets, luck, fate whatever you wanted. She hardly believed it was a force you couldn't at least alter. The small thing flapped it's thing once or twice and then made its way to Fang's neck only stopping for a moment to rb it's cheek gently on his cheek.

"It's not my life I can't control... It's.." Just then, a whole pack of cats come out from behind various toombstones in the graveyard and glomp him. ".... That..." He said, drowning in a pool of kitties.

Madison put her hand to her mouth to hide a giggle. She pettted one of the stray cats and sati it on her lap, trying to shoo away the rest of the surgeing mass. That's bad luck not out of contol...ability. It's often from a negitive self-image if anything. She struggled to find the words while her own little cretaure looked menicingly at the randomly appearing cats. Kepping them at bay for the while. Its glare made a few cats back off. Their noses probably were sore if anything from its low heat. The cat in her lap hissed at her when she shooed it away, running into the underbrush. do you have a positive image on yourself on general?

"Not really... But... My family is kinda... Well... Centered around cats... If that's the best word for it... Hah, you can kinda tell by looking at my brother." He thought about his brothers cat ears and tail. "He resembles mother more..." Fang said abruptly. Then, he realized something... Never in his life had he thought about his father... His eyes widened. ... Who is.. My father?!

Madison resisted the urge to say 'Fang...I am your farther' in a mock vader voice. Other voices rocked in her head at his words though. She had been intrigued at how his gene pool had dished him out to be a human while his brother a cat. It seemed more likly that one of the two must have been adopted. She shook her head to clear these thoughts. Instead she replied with a more graceful sentence. Or at least it sounded that way in her head. ...I was once told that it matters not of where we come from but what is before us and how others may percieve this image.Noth that she was one to care for a reputation or anything. But the first part seemed at least acurate enough.

"It's just... I've never even thought about my father... It seems like I never had one... Mother has never even mentioned him... And theres nothing to suggest that he's ever existed... Well, except for me, Artemis, and Kohaku... It's so strange how we all look so different, but she assures us that none of us were adopted.... And I know it really doesn't matter... But it does make me think about some things..." He said with a sigh. It really was confusing.. His whole family situation.... And very hard to explain to someone who didn't know his families background.
