She held the compass up watching it for a moment, seeing the point very still for a moment before jerking sideways and moving again. Her lips turned up at the sides as she looked up at Legion with a nod.

She turned quickly on her heel and slipped past the two at the door and down the next ally. All was quiet until she was closer to the scene of the college. She could see a few shapes ahead, and knew Legions man had been seen. She circled around, until the needle pointed towards an alley back the way she had came. As she doubled back she slowed, stepping quietly, as the needle hummed in her hand. Guessing that meant she was close she tugged one gun out of its holster, pressing her back against the wall before leaning around the back end of the alley to see the action. She saw one man getting up as a fire exit pulled itself back up and a fireblast went searing across the building roof.

She leaned against the wall again, flattening herself before closeing her eyes listening to his footsteps. As he neared she took a deep breath and swung her hand out, wrapping it around his shirt at the shoulder and dragging him in an arc until he as against the building beside her. She held the gun at her side, then the compass up in her other hand. She looked down at it then up at him when the needle pointed straight at him and smiled, stepping back while listening for other seperate footsteps.

"Legion sent me. I'm new, call me Chaos. What are we looking at? Mission, enemies??"

Aurelie caught the necklace with her left hand, holding it up to the light to look at it speculatively. Then she nodded, but Legion was already walking away with a new girl in tow. Sighing she leaned back against the wall and crossed her arms, after wrapping one end of the neclace around her wrist to make sure she couldn't drop it. She looked over at the other guy then, tilting her head to the side. "I guess we are in for a bit of a wait, I don't think they will come here until his broadcast starts. But then.. All hell is going to break loose." She said, before turning to watch out one of the front windows for any of the hunters.

So, Hideki. How do you think I should do this? I could stay out of it all, and allow Takeshi to handle everything. Or I could go do something else that is considered stupidto try and do something that doesn't even seem to matter, since the cops are nowhere in sight.

{I suggest you do the first part for now, and when the cops do come, if they do, then you can do the other stupid thing. Just try to not get killed, alright. I don't want to die again.}

As if on cue, Alex burst into the TV Station. Seeing Aurelie and Erik briefly looking surprised, he grinned.

"Your concealment happened to falter for almost half a second. Why you're here, I don't particularly care. If you come along nicely, I won't hurt you. Otherwise..." he cracked his knuckles and sparks flew along his body.

~~

As if on cue, Ted heard sirens in the distance.

~~

"I'm going to boost you to the fire escape of that building," Takeshi promptly commanded, indicating the building opposite him. Cover me when I jump the guys heading this way."

~~

Siber felt a surge of energy, and his shadow began to bubble and hiss. Gurul sank into the shadow.

"See you around," Sindhlot's voice called out. The shadow calmed again.

The street was clear. Paul dashed out into it, glancing around. Where had they gone? Probably into one of the alleys. His best option was to keep his distance and make a quick pass by each one. "Joe! Stay level with me, keep your eyes on the right side. We're gonna check each one quickly. If something happens in one, keep running and regroup, fast. We gotta make sure we know where they are before we start a gunfight." Waving his arm to indicate an immediate move, he plowed out into the street, gun and iPod low but prepared, raising to meet each alley.

"See ya, Sindhlot," Siber sighed, standing up. Damn it, he had completely forgotten about that guy. Luckily, Siber's death was apparently not high on the list of "Things To Do," but the sudden lack of an opportunity to bash in Gurul's head was sorely disappointing. He jogged casually off towards where Paul and Joe had disappeared around a turn and caught up with Paul quickly, fingering a smokebomb.
"Paul, I have bad news," he said as the guy halted again before the entrance to an alleyway. He looked briefly at the iPod and gun duo. "Nice apparatus.
"Anyway, Sindhlot who is a majorly powerful dæmon aligned with Legion, just took Gurul out of the picture. So cover me while I hit up the other side of the street and I'll see if I can find those other two."
He prepared for Paul to give a signal, the dæmon still prepared. He heard Keldan, bored, finally begin speaking with the dæmon and they seemed to be getting along quite well. Keldan had just finished explaining that Siber was not as much of a jackass as Sapphra thought he was; he just hadn't had a convenient block of time to talk to her yet. She chuckled and said that if Siber didn't explain himself personally, she'd eat his eyelids. The human fervently hoped for a convenient block of time to instantiate itself.

Ted just sighed. "Fine, but I don't know how I'll do that. Still, make sure that you shoot one of the people over in that group there. Do it when the cops are in front of us. The group is a gang, and if they think the cops shot them, then you have easy pickings. Is that alright, considering I'm doing nothing as it is?"

"Forget the gang, just find them!" Paul exclaimed. "No time for that right now. If they interfere later, we do what we have to. For now, them. Move, move!" He was already progressing down the street, not pausing for the alleys, moving quickly but checking thoroughly.

((I wait for Venom or Assassin to decide if we find 'em.))

((Okay, just start making my char do what your guy's do. I am so horribly confused, even after reading everything before. I will post again when the time dictates that I do))

((I'll try to help: Takeshi tried to kill Joe, but was stopped by Josh. So he fled down the street to another alley, where he met up with the other character. Paul and Joe went after them, and that's where they are now, running along and looking down the alleys to see if they find them. Gurul got away, though, so Siber caught up with us.

((Actually, Ted, Takeshi was responding to Assassinatrix. And for those of you wondering why she can ask to be called "Chaos" after my previous issues with people's names... suffice to say, you'll see in the next arc. 3nodding ))

((So, then, where would Ted be located in this mess that has been deemed an rp?))

Chaos glanced up at the fire escape, judging the distance quickly. Then she nodded at Takeshi holstering her guns to free her hands.
"Alright, I've got your back...," she said, keeping her senses open. She tucked the compass in the pocket on the bottom of her pants as footsteps echoed on the street. Her smile was viscious as she cut her eyes towards the sound.
"They'll miss us and we won't have to worry about it if they keep going that way."

She pushed up as he boosted her onto the escape, deciding to lay down flat on the bottom. She closed her eyes and opened her senses, tapping her powers. Deep shadows began to swirl and thicken from the edges of the alley, gathering together to hide the two at the end of the alley from the street. It looked as though the sun was setting beside the building, just throwing the alley into dusk. Darker maleavolent shadows writhed in the deepest shadows, unseen by others but her and Takeshi. She flicked her eyes to him, the smile still in place.
"Hows that?", she asked softly, tugging her guns out to train them on the end of the alley. Thier magic may deflect regular bullets, but as humans, the less powerful ones always forget and freak out to dodge the bullets.
"O, any specific info I need to know about the hunters before they get here?"

"Stop," Siber breathed. He had kept his Ajna wide open, still watching, trying to detect abnormalities in the light. And there one was, as they traversed further. In the sight of his third eye, shadows bent and twisted where they should not have been. Someone significantly more powerful than he in shadow magic was playing games. "Someone's waiting for us."
Lady Sahasrara, he addressed Sapphra.
Young Master Siber, she returned, equally cordially.
I am very glad to finally have the time to meet you. Specifically, I am glad for the chance to preserve my eyelids.
Very understandable motivation. She was grinning, he could tell.
I thought so, too. I was wondering if you and your thousand petals would mind at all keeping me alive in the upcoming skirmish.
Oh, you know the meaning! She was very excited. I would be happy to, as long as you name the cortex at which I reside.
Siber went through his checklist. Coccix, hypogastral, solar, cardiac, carotid, medulla, cerebral. For you are, my lady, the electricity of my mind.
Oh, don't flatter me, you shameless rake; I just happen to be as much electricity as you can summon right now. But yes, you've impressed me; I'll keep you as alive as I can. Just say when.
Thank you, my lady.
"Whoever is waiting for us is going to come out of there," Siber said to the other two, pointing to a patch of unnatural, to him, shadow. "Paul, you seem to really know what you're doing, so go in first, and Joe, you can counter Takeshi's elementalism and evocation better than I, so follow him. I'll keep my eye out for attacks from other directions. Sound good?"

((Ted, Takeshi lost sight of you when he entered the building. I'm not going to railroad you or guide you along by a leash. No character is bound to any action. If you want, you can get captured by the hunters and join them or you can flee and be subliminally guided to Legion.

Also, keep in mind that the TV station is several minutes away from the campus. Thus why Chaos arrived just as Takeshi fired - he had to climb the stair.))

"If you see a guy with gauntlets, run like you raped his mother," Takeshi advised, creeping towards the edge of the alley. "And you know, an alley this dark in broad daylight isn't exactly subtle."
