~Quest~Congrats on the growth Flitch! Now that you're taller, older, and hopefully smarter, you need to improve on your social skills. It seems like this a common theme for Sin's these days. Anyways, you or your guardian need to throw a party in which you must play the host. During this party you must make sure everyone has what they need (food and drink wise), and if they ask you for anything you must make sure to bring it to them.Oh yeah. Mad party here.

~Detour~ ((transcribed from AIM))Thalion Gabriel didn't let him wonder too far in recent days. The fragile milk Sin'aesis was battling yet another cold that had lingered on from the early days of winter. Chaco had told Gabriel that the boy would be half of a sin' in quite a few aspects. Half as healthy, half as tall, half this and that- but he seemed intelegent enough to make up for it. After the family had been broken and had dwindled down to himself, Hugo, Vaan, Gabe, the boy had become quite reclusive. Rillian, a jivvin, had been brought into the family to keep watch on the children in Gabriel's absense. The jivvin was keeping careful watch on the boy as Gillian sat out front, sketching his selpinir colt as the yearling grazed. Anvion It had been forever since Flitch had last taken this path home. When he was younger he'd taken a liking to the detour for the chance to run into his friend Gillian, but time and family and a number of other things had kept him from visiting in... forever, really. Today, however, was different. No brothers to watch, no little chores to run, and no place to go. Why not swing by Gillian's house? He hadn't seen his friend in forever. So he hummed tunelessly to himself as he walked along, pausing at the yard with the oh-so-familiar horned figure sitting in the lawn. "Gil!" Flitch called, his face splitting into a wide grin. Thalion Gillian jumped a bit and looked up over the top of the sketchbook- which nearly dwarfed the boy. He couldn't help but smile a bit as he reconized the older figure. Much older! "Flitch." He set the sketchbook aside and got himself to his feet, "You've grown!" "Friend of yours?" The Jivvin lifted his head up from his claws and smiled a bit towards Flitch. "Yes, it's okay." Anvion "Yeah, a bit," the teen admitted. True, he hadn't grown MUCH, but still. He couldn't help but smile at his friend. "So how've you been? I haven't seen you in ages... And who's your friend?" At this, Flitch peered curiously through his glasses at the jivvin. He'd never seen one before. It was quite cute, though! Thalion "I've been better." The Sin admitted through a mutter. "Kinda sick... don't wanna get too close." He wiped at his nose a bit. "And Snowe's gone. There's just five of us now." It was still a large household, but not nearly as large as it had been. Everyone seemed pretty sore over it, even if it was hardly new news. "Oh. That's Rillian. He came to live with us." He pointed back towards the Jivvin. "He's real nice..." "A pleasure." The Jivvin got himself to his paws and walked himself over. Anvion Snowe? The name was unfamiliar, but that was no surprise. Flitch hadn't seen any of the rest of Gillian's family, to be honest. It didn't matter. He could still sympathize over lost family. "I'm sorry to hear that." He was. Losing family was hard. He inclined his head to the jivvin. "And right back at you. So Gillian, what're you drawing?" he asked, approaching despite the caution of a cold. Thalion Gillian shrugged. "Him and Ryose just...vanished one day. I think it was Ryose. Snowe did whatever he wanted him to do...and Ryose didn't like us much anymore." "Ooh... heh." He flipped his sketchbook around so Flitch could see the..somewhat horselike figure on the paper. Anvion "Aah. I see." Things could be like that. pity. Flopping down on the grass to get a better look at the other's art, Flitch nodded in approval. "That's really cool, Gil. What is it?" Thalion "It's Verys." He pointed to the colt who was now smirking over towards Flitch from his side of the fence. Flitch, actually, had been the one to name the eight-legged horse. "I want to get better at drawing, so I'm having Verys do some poses for me." "He's getting better. It really is starting to look more like a horse." Anvion "Oh!" Flitch could see now. He'd thought it was a regular horse at first. "I see now." He cast a look at Verys, but the eye contact was not one that lasted long. The last time he'd seen the horse, it'd been a fairly traumatic riding experience. "It's really good, though. I can't wait to see it when it's finished." Thalion The horse smirked and flicked an ear backwards, it gave him more of a cocky edge to his expression, "You've gotten bigger... you wanna try your luck again, there bub? Or are you still a limp noodle?" "Be nice." Gil warned, glancing over towards the fence. The horse snorted and went back to grazing. That seemed to relax Gillian a bit. He coughed a bit and glanced back Flitch's way. "What about you? Anything exciting?" Anvion Flitch ignored the horses' taunts. Oh no. He wouldn't give in so easy. Instead he focused on Gil. "Oh, not too too much. I went to Anvion's home country for a while to work, then have just come back here and," he shrugged. "Meeting up with people again. It's been too long since I've seen most anybody that's not-family." Thalion "I know how that goes." He glanced down the road away from the mannor. He'd not been into town for a while, much less at Chaco's mannor. Of course, he'd been sick and with Gabriel's nerves, going anywhere away from home was out of the question. "You should visit more. It's still far from the others, but it's relaxing." Anvion "I promise I will." Flitch shrugged. "It's just been so... busy lately. But maybe you can come visit sometime too," he added. "There's always something going on at my house."

~Run-in with Ancelin~((transcribed from AIM.)) Quote: Flitch sat in one of the larger open rooms on the mansion's first floor, unsurprisingly caught up in a book. Home had been too noisy for him as of late, and so once again he found himself retreating to the mansion more and more often. He'd been slightly surprised to find that he was the only one at the mansion on this day, but he doubted it'd remain that way for long. After all, people were always coming and going here. It was only a matter of time until someone showed up. Quote: As it turned out the mansion wouldn't be empty for long. Ancelin walked inside, closing the large front door behind her. She looked around quizically, she hadn't been to the mansion in ages it had seemed. Not since just after the accident that robbed her of her wings. She had come to clean, get a respite from her thoughts that seemed to stay bottled inside in her small apartment. She walked threw the hall and then paused as she came to an entryway to another room. Someone was in there.. Someone slightly familiar. "Hello?" she called out, looking to the blue haired teenager reading in the room. Quote: Startled by the voice, Flitch's head turned sharply in the direction of the noise. Oh. A... A someone he thought he should know. Was that Ancelin? She looked like her from what he could remember. But then again, he could be wrong.... best play it safe.
"Hi," he replied with a smile. "Sorry, didn't hear you come in." Quote: Ancelin smiled as she walked into the room. "No, I'm sorry to disturb you from your book. I just didn't expect anybody to be in here. It's been so long since I've seen another Sin'aeis besides Jan and Garrick." she explained as she walked within non-shouting distance. She then fidgeted with one of her braids. "Forgive me if I'm wrong.. But you would be.." she took a pause, trying to remember the teenagers name. She could place that slightly male apearance and pale blue hair in her mind. ".. Flitch, right?" she asked, squinting a little like she was awaiting to be told she was wrong. Quote: Nod nod. So they'd definitely met. Maybe it was Ancelin. Not like there were that many other Sin'aeis with blue hair, after all. "Yep. And you're... Ancelin?" A nervous smile. "Sorry. It's been a while." Quote: Ancelin nodded her head reassuringly. "Yup! I'm flattered you remembered me. Before I thought the only reason people recognized me was because of the two giant feather dusters coming out of my back." She said with a grin, before she pulled up a seat and sat. "What are you reading? Anything interesting?" Quote: Right. Those giant wings. No wonder she'd looked a little different this time around... aside from being older, of course. Deciding not to press the matter (curious though he was), he glanced at the book in his lap and shrugged.
"Kinda. I found a book of old legends the other day, so I've been reading through and picking out a few things my little brothers might like. There's some neat stuff in it." Quote: Ah Legends. Ancelin nodded her head, although she didn't understand much about those kind of things. Fantasy was never really her gig even though one of her closest friends was a complete nut for it. "Legends? Like hobbits and elves or like big foot and sasquatch?" those where the only kind of legends she knew about. Quote: "Some of them, yeah." Flitch nodded. "But a lot more of them are on things like knights and princesses and witches with curses and adventure. Those sorts of things." Quote: Ancelin nodded her head as she thought it over, Oliver was into those sort of things. "I haven't ready many books like that. But I've seen the ballet version of Swan Lake." after all, that had a princess, a prince and a warlock in it. "I had to have one of my house-mates kinda dictate it for me, but the music and dancing was really beautiful." Quote: "Really? Cool." Music or theatre or dancing had never been strong interest points for Flitch, but it was always fun to hear of people seeing things like that.
"Is there any singing or storytelling in it?" he asked. "I've never been to a ballet myself." Quote: "Well, a story is told. But there's no speaking. Alot of it is really interprative by their actions and the music that's playing." Ancelin explained. "A prince, while on a hunting exipdition, sees a beautiful swan on a lake who turns out to be a cursed princess. He falls in love with her beauty, but it turns out she's the prinsoner of an evil warlock who is in love with her. He begs the princess to come to a party where he must pick a princess to marry, and instead of her, the warlock's daughter comes pretending to be the princess and makes him agree to marry her. In the end, both the princess and the prince kill themselves." she explained, at least, that's how she understood it when she saw it. Quote: "Oooh. What a sad story." Endings like that were rare in the stories Flitch had read, but from personal experience he supposed they'd be the more likely endings to any tale of that sort. Cool. He'd have to look that up sometime.
Not thinking of anything else to cover on that topic, he decided for a change. "So what have you been up to lately? I haven't seen you in forever." Quote: Ancelin thought on that note. She picked from a list of things she had been up to in her mind.. alot of the things where bad, and probably things that wouldn't make for a great conversation with someone she hadn't seen since she was a child. So, she choose the best one she could possibly think of. "Well, I recently got an apartment down town. It's not completely set up yet. But just the other day I moved in all of my fish to their new tanks, and they've all been doing really well." She smiled. "It feels nice to be on my own. Makes me feel more adult, you know?" Quote: Flitch cocked his head slightly. "Really? Your own place?" Having one's own place appealed somewhat to him, though Flitch was simply too used to big families to even consider living on his own. It'd get so lonely! "I still live at home. Mostly to help take care of all my little brothers. The five of them are a lot of work. But it must be exciting living out on your own like that!" Quote: Ancelin smiled and nodded her head. "Most of my house mates are the same age as me. The only small ones are Damien and Dominic, and I can't stand being around those demons." No, literally, one was the spawn of Satan. Or so Tenshi claimed. "I have all my fish, and a pet bird name Erik who keep me company. And some of my house mates come over frequently, so it doesn't get lonely. And it's a small space, so I can easily take care of it and keep it tidy." Quote: Aaah. Pets were good for company, he recalled. Of course, animals were scant in his household. Perhaps he should save up for one someday.
Still, he laughed at the demons line. "I know about little demons. Thankfully only one stirs up any trouble." However, Iya was enough trouble for three or four children alone. Quote: Ancelin shuddered in horror at the thought of Damien. Dominic was tolerable, but put the two together and it was world war 3. "Another perk is it's really close to the pet store I work at. Instead of having to get a car ride every day, it's just a twenty minute walk. I already lost ten pounds with the work out it gives me every day." She chuckled, even though she was never bothered by her weight. Quote: Ooh. Pet store! Now she had him inclined to the notion of pets. "What sort of pets do you have there?" Quote: : Ancelin reached into her purse and dug out her wallet, before she got out a card and held it out to Flitch. "Oh all kinds. We even make special orders for those who request it. Dogs, cats, fish, lizards, rodents. Stop in sometime. I work the first shift Sunday threw Wendseday. If you're interested in buying anything, I can give you a special discount." she smirked. It seemed she was telling alot of sin about this lately. Quote: Gratefully accepting the card, Flitch nodded. "Awesome. I'll definitely have to stop in and see what I could get." Fish would be cool to have, though he'd have to figure how to Iya-proof the tank first. Or maybe something else? Oh, the possibilities!
Inadvertently Flitch glanced over at the clock on the wall. Oh dear, it was getting late! "I'm sorry," he said as he rose from his chair. "I need to head on back. Gotta help with dinner tonight." Sliding the card into his book, he couldn't help but smile. "I'll definitely stop by your shop, though." Quote: : Ancelin glanced at the clock and nodded, before stepping to the side to get out of Flitch's way. "Oh of coarse. I'd hate to make you be late for anything." She said as she slipped her wallet back into her purse. "I look forward to seeing you at the store." she smiled. Quote: "Definitely," he replied as he began to step out towards the door. He offered her one wave as he opened and left. "Can't wait to see it! Thanks again!"

~Running Into Gillian at the Mansion~((transcribed from AIM)) Quote: Gillian walked slowly, hauling an over-stuffed bag on one shoulder. Rillian nearly had to crawl to keep up with the boy's pace. A normal walk would over-step the boy. They'd been out walking for hours, and just recently Chaco's manner was coming into view. Gillian had insisted on carrying his own art supplies. He was supposed to practice painting...and he was getting bored with Gabriel's estate. "Really are too stubborn..." the Jivvin huffed, laying his ears back against his mane.Quote: It had been one of those days that was so perfect that even Flitch couldn't help but come outside to read. Granted, he loved his occasional outdoor excursions, but when it came to books he much preferred the quiet insides of the library or his room. He'd found a nice place out on the lawn, and was curled up in the pages of the unwieldy old tome he'd found in the library not an hour past. On occasion he would glance up to see just who or what was around, but his attentions for now were more on the book than the occasional passerby on the sidewalk. Quote: "At least let me carry-" Rillian's offer was cut short by a sharp glare from the little milk boy. He wasn't tall, or old, but he could look edgey when he wanted to. "...very well..." The jivvin sighed."Mmm." Gillian continued to haul the large bag up the path. He was sweatting terribly but he'd grown tired of everyone helping him out. About ten minutes later, he could make out someone else on the lawn... Flitch? Quote: As Gillian and Rillian approached, Flitch glanced up briefly to simply glance around. Imagine his surprise when he saw Gillian. The little milk Sin rarely ventured from home, as far as Flitch could recall.
"Hey Gil!" he called out with a lazy wave, marking his spot on the book before closing it. Quote: Gillian smiled faintly. It was more than he'd done in a long time. Rillian couldn't help but smirk a bit. "Flitch! Hi!" He quickened his pace, dropping the bag to the ground to simply drag it over the lawn towards his friend. Quote: "Hey," Flitch repeated as the little sin approached. "Don't see you out too much. How are things?" Quote: "I'm not sick anymore." He smiled and plopped himself down in the grass with a puff. A little hand lifted up to wipe at his forehead, "And Rillian goes out with me. So I'm allowed if he's here." Quote: "Oooh," Flitch responded in understanding. "That's good to hear." Huh. Only allowed with a guardian? The concept almost seemed alien to Flitch. "That's neat, though." A pause as he spotted the art set. "You come to paint?" Quote: Gillian nodded and went about pulling out his collapsable easel. It was pretty small, perhaps made for dolls as part of a playset, but it was just Gillian's size. The canvis dwarfed him as he pulled it out and nearly fell over trying to get it settled on the easel. "I....wanna paint the mannor." Quote: "The manor, huh?" Shifting around so he could get a better look at Gillian from around the unwieldy canvas Flitch peered curiously at the blank sheet. "Neat. Can I watch?" Quote: "If you want to." He was setting out a little plastic pallate. He had only three tubes of color- red, blue, yellow, black, and white, but he didn't seem all that concerned about it. "How are you doing?" Quote: "Pretty good." The reply came with an idle shrug. "Just getting out for a bit. Noisy house and all that." Quote: He nodded, "Too crowded. It's nice out now at least." He started mixing some of the white up with the blue, creating a very soft blue, he glanced up now and then, he was trying to match the sky's color to the one he was mixing. "I bet it's nice though... you can play with a lot of people." Quote: Flitch half-shrugged. "Not really. It's more like babysitting so Anvion can get some sleep. They're almost all about your age, actually. In think you'd maybe get along with a few of them." Quote: Gillian chuckled, "Gabriel says I'm more mature for my age. He thinks it's because I'm...under-...d...." he looked to Rillian. "Physically under developed but mentally developed.""Yeah...that." Quote: Flitch nodded. "Sounds about right, actually. I mean, I've read it happening and..." he broke off, the train of thought losing itself. "Yeah." Quote: "I don't mind." He shrugged. "I don't need to be big. I do my art...I don't have to be big for it so it's not a problem." He dabbed one of the paintbrushes in the blue and started smothering the canvas with it. "Smarter people are better anyway."
