Pix watched as the leader-ish type was dragged into a building by a rather short brown haired man. He had been trailing the small group for a couple hours now and had noticed that, for lack of a better word, they were largely incompetent.
He considered helping for a second, but that would be a nice thing to do, so he set himself up on the roof of the house, and looked in on the two from a small peephole.

 There are no such things as coincidence.Evacy watched Kai being knocked out and taken inside the... house. "Okay, now what do we do?" She asked quietly, turning to Alyce. "Any ideas?" Evacy pulled out a few darts of her own, leaving her daggers in her boots. She paced silently, worried what they might do to the leader. Then they'd have to go back, or... Her head snapped up. What if that person was Tanner? She shook her head. He looked different. Evacy bit her lip, still uncertain. There is only hitsuzen

Andrea had been debating about going over to the tree with the others or not, but her shyness got the better of her yet again. Eventually the group started to move again, forcing her to stand up and follow. After a bit they came to a run-down village, making her blink at the destruction. Silently she followed the others, her hand on the hilt of her sword as she warily looked around. Andrea nearly jumped at the sight of the man, and blinked as she watched Kai go over to the door. Then he fell with a strange looking dark his his neck and she couldn't help but watch as the man dragged him inside. She looked around: why was no one going in to help him..? Andrea forced her way to the front of the group to get to the door and quickly went inside after the two, unable to just sit and watch with the group.

Kiro twitched his knife in his hand some, doing nothing in a deserted gost town in the middle of the night wasn't the most comfertable. He heard Kai's body hit the ground and the sound of something dragging him, he could put the peices together from there. He stood up and looked into the window seeing some man standing over Kai he quickly got out of the window view so he wouldn't be spotted. "alright what to do now" he saw someone walk right in regaurdless of being noticed or anything "h-hey!" he tried to stop her but it was to late she was already in, he pulled out his knife and went to the window agian to see what was going to happen

Alyce looked at Evacy, an eyebrow raised, and took out his daggers, too. He adjusted his glasses and darted after her, cursing slightly under his breath. Behind him, he'd already seen some members move. So, they had been watching Kai all along...? Alyce followed Evacy's lead, stepping exactly where she did.
"Don't go alone." He mumbled quietly, enough for her to hear. "He just took Kai out with some sort of anesthetic."

This was just too amusing.
The children barely had initiative, their leader had just been captured and most were still hopelessly following orders.
He just had to make an appearance, it was in his nature. Popping in behind the nearest two a girl and some guy with glasses he gently tapped both on the shoulders.

There are no such things as coincidence.Evacy stopped dead in her tracks. "Well, fortunately, he's not the only one with anesthetic." She said, letting her darts flash in the moonlight. She didn't want to go through the front door, least she met the same fate that Kai would. But if she went to the back... there might be some kind of trap. Her head throbbed with all the possibilities. "And here I was, hoping that they wouldn't be hostile." she muttered, slowly approaching the door.
Being tapped on the shoulder when she was tensed, didn't help her at all, and she spun around, ready to jab a dart into someone's gut. There is only hitsuzen

The brown-haired man laughed pleasantly. His somewhat tall, athletic frame made him stand out as he stepped out of the shadows. Stubble on his jaw and several scars on his shoulders and arms gave him quite a rugged appearance.
"This is odd, I've never seen people that looked quite like this. All of you people's skin is so pale," his rough voice said. Suddenly a thought sparked in his head. Despite his appearance, this man was a quick thinker, very clever. But that didn't mean he was that smart.
"Tanner looked pale like that when I first met him..." His voice trailed off. Putting the facts together was a little hard for him.
He brushed some dirt off his sleeveless shirt and crossed his arms.
"Anyway, what are you all doing here?"

There are no such things as coincidence.No name came to Evacy's mind, but his skin was as pale as the rest of theirs. "Did you come with us, or are you a... villager?" She blinked. "Old deserted place? Far from it, really. There were people, or rather, is. I've only seen one that's not of the group, so far." She muttered. "And we are not a couple." She only knew Alyce's name, like nearly everyone else in the group, but she was working hard on trying to familiarize with everyone. There is only hitsuzen

He considered how much he should tell her, and came up with an answer after a second's thought,"Close enough, I'm from underground atleast." Hearing voices from inside the building he faced the door. "Seems like your friends haven't been horribly mutilated yet. I'm sure the screams would have carried and all seems rather calm. Horrible really, you know how many turn to canabalism out here, I was sure the man was going to eat your friend, would have watched too if y'all hadn't distracted me..." He looked disappointed for a moment,"Lead the way in if you want, you'd get to check with your leader, and I'd get a nice look at your backside." He shrugged awaiting her answer.

Andrea had her sword partly drawn as she stared at the strange looking man. "You know..Tanner...?" she asked, keeping her eyes on him and her hand on her sword: she wasn't going to let her guard down. "We came to look around the village, but you felled our leader.." Andrea quickly glanced around the room to see if she could see Kai. "What have you done with him?" she asked as she drew her sword a bit more, ready to get into a fight to the death if she had to. I have to find Kai... she thought as she stared at the man, unwilling to go search for Kai and end up just like him. I have to do what I can to protect the others..! she thought as she remained in a defensive stance near the door.

"Well, if you came from underground, then you're part of the team, aren't you?" Evacy asked. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Andrea approach the door. She took the dart in her hand, which was coated in anesthetic, and thew it at the door. It hit the door, naturally, but the wind caused it to hit the other side. "Ah... that's not good. My aim's off." She sort of mused. There is only hitsuzen
