Nereida looked up at the stars with a smile. "It's always beautiful here," she agreed. "You can always see the stars!"

"You can never be sure about these things," Caspian scoffed. He watched Merlin and Nereida too, but he wasn't seeing the same tihng as his mate, apparently. "I don't think I even wanted to talk to you in the beginning, though. There's a difference."
"Yes," Melrin agreed quietly, keeping back a remark aobut how beautiful she was. Feeling the eyes of Ianthe, Caspian and Marina on him, he started to shuffle his paws, causing fish to dart away. "Uh..would you like to go on a walk?" he offered, wanting to get away from prying eyes.

Marina laughed. "Ah yes. You were a quiet, lonely little kit who felt that I was trying to attack you with cheefulness," She said, remembering. "You were so funny, Caspian," She complimented.

"Er..." Merlin looked around; he was a scout, he should know good places to go. "Let's just go where our paws take us, I guess." Why was she obliging him? Pity? "Ladies first," he added quietly.
"Thank you?" Caspian asked, eyeing Marina strangely. "I still think it was an attack, though?" He laughed quietly and laid down in the sands, watching the happenings of the tribe, ear twitching.

Marina chuckled and curled up next to him. "It wasn't an attack, I swear," She defended herself, giggling. "Besides, you know you had fun. At least I did," She said, resting her head on his paws.

"Okay," she said, taking the lead. She walked along the shore knowing just where to go. Earlier on, Nereida discovered a beautiful underwater cave on the island. She decided to take Merlin there.

"I confess, I did have this 'fun' thing after awhile," Caspian replied, placing his head on top of hers. "I guess aorund the time you renamed the forest." He grinned at the memory, although he'd never be able to recall the long name she had bestowed the land.
Melrin followed along quietly for the time being, wondering where they were going. He knew the area around them, and had yet to find anything noteworthy. "Nereida, where exctly are we headed?" he asked after a moment, curiosity getitng the best of him.

"Hmm... to tell you, or not to tell you..." Nereida deliberated for a few seconds, swimming slowly as the water had gotten deeper. She stopped when she was directly under the shadow of a cliff. "Well, I guess there's no point in telling you since we're alreasy almost there!" She said with a smile back at him before she dove downwards.

Marina let out a giggle at the memory; she would never forget the name.
"It was The Emerald Forest Where Stuff Grows Emeraldly," She said, laughing. "Hey, maybe tonight, d'you wanna go back up to that cliff?" Marina asked, her heart speeding at the very thought. It would be amazing to go back to the very spot where they had confessed the deep inner workings of their minds to eachother, let alone their feelings.

Merlin was sur ehis face portrayed his utter confusion. Why were they going underwater? Deciding Nereida wasn't out to kill him, he dove under as well, struggling for a moment to find her in the murky waters before swimming after her. Hopefully, it wouldn't be a long swim; he was fighting to stay swimming as the water weighted down on his fur.
((I'm guessing you had to go look it up, Jules? XD))
"Oh. Right," Caspian said, suddenly recalling the name. He looked down at her as she spoke, then nodded. "We can go now, if you like. The moon won't stay up for much longer."

Marina smiled and shrugged. "Up to you. We could do that, stay here, or follow the lovebirds," She added, almost as an afterthought. "I vote for the cliff," She said, nuzzling him.

((I read a few pages of it. I never paid attnetion to how different their personalities were when we were RPing, but wow. XD))
"Why would we want to follow them?" Caspian asked, confused. "I don't want to see poor Merlin all confused over Nereida." This was his own way of agreeing to the cliff, and he soon stood up and stretched, waiting for her to do the same.

"Oh, but it would be so, so, so, funny," She argued, playing devil's advocate. She copied his actions, standing next to him. "Lead the way, guide!" She almost shouted, calling him the name she had so many weeks ago.

"I beg to differ," Caspian deadpanned, wondering at his mate's potential enjoyment. However, when she got up and shouted, he assumed she had dropped that subject, and he started to walk, smiling slightly. "Is that my new name, then?"
Ianthe watched as the two piars split up, smilign for them. This was what she wanted; a place where others could find what they needed most. Standing, the Elder looked out across the other assorted members before padding gracefully to the ship, leaping with ease onto the deck.
