Wycliff nodded, reaching over to pet Copey softly. The little puff cooed softly at his owner, and settled down to be a good little pillow.
Tori rubbed his knee slowly, wiggling his toes inside of his fuzzy slippers. "They're so cute, ne? Reading..."
Wycliff's eyes widened slightly as he listened to Aphrodite read; he loved to learn new things, and stories were a new thing for him. "Mean crooks..." He whispered, grabbing his tail with one little chubby arm; he was really getting into the story.
As soon as Aphrodite was done reading, Wycliff scooted up toward the book, happy to have his turn to read again. "The Emperor agreed right aw...awa...away...The crooks told him that they had in..inven...invented a new kind of cloth, invisdible to anyone who was...stupid or mean..."

Aphrodite giggled. "So, the empo-rah said that he c-coo-ood see dah clothes, even though he really co-ouldn't!" aprhdoite grinne.d "Hehe, he's a silly em-emporer."
Nariko listened intently to the story, the emporer was so foolish. Heh. "Poo."
Catherine continued to brush out the few tangles in Nariko's hair. "It's good for them to read like this, it helps them learn and gets them ready for when they are kids."

Wycliff nodded, joining in Aphrodite's giggles. "The Emperor dec..deciiided to show off his new clothes in a BIG fes...fesss....festiiv...festival...in the town..."
Tori wiggled his nose at Nariko, a soft smile on his face. "Wycliff loves to read...I'm so glad; I also love to read, so we spend time together reading...it's so great to bond with him like that, you know?"

Aphrodite blinked and giggled. "An' so dah Emporer went to dah Festives in dah town and everyone laughed at him."
Catherine game him a big grin. "Yeah, though aphrodite likes to play video games more than she likes to read, so I encoruage her to write in a diary."

Wycliff nodded, wiggling his nose a little. "He didn't know why the people were laughing...he's so stupid!" The little Rhino-boy read and said, laughter bubbling up within him.
"Oh, that's a good idea!" Tori said, perking up. "I should get Wycliff to do that; how do you keep her going? I never had the interest for a diary when I was little..."

" Honestly? I think it's Bax, the friend that lives with me. He's her tutor and encourages relentlessly." She laughed a bit. "Sometimes he's a ruthless teacher, but he's good... he's taught her so much.. I trust him.. since he taught me almost everything I know." She leaned back into the couch. " ... and I also think she does it to feel grown up... Like that she's more mature."
Aphrodite yawned a bit, her stomache grumbled a bit. she shook her head and continued. "The Empor--ah..." Another yawn escaped her lips, she leaned back into Wy's foot. She turned her head up to her mother. "Mama I hungies. I hungies mama."

"Ahhh...Sometimes the most ruthless teachers are the best, ne?" Tori smiled in response to Catherine's laughter. "Hmm, more mature, you think? Maybe I should try to encourage Wycliff in that direction..."
Wycliff looked down at Aphrodite, nodding; he was hungry, too. "Let's get some food!" He cried, giggling softly.

Garreth's eyes opened, he smiled perking up at the mention of food. "I'm hungry too Mama!"
"Hungie! Hungie! Hungie!" Aphrodite giggled and chanted jumping up and down the floor, then flying up and high landing on Wy's head. She clapped with a grin. "What's we gonna eat? Huh?"
Nariko blinked, what was all this talk about food. She already ate. People are so weird.
Catherine blinked for a few momnet, thinking. "Well.. Umm.. if you like I can make Macaroni and Cheese if you all like that and some salad." She grinned a bit.

Wycliff nodded for a few seconds, before remembering that Aphrodite was on his head. He stopped, looking up, although he couldn't see the little Mishap. At the mention of food, however, he perked up again. "Mac n' cheese!" He said, his tail thumping happily on the floor.
"Ahh, that would be wonderful, Catherine..." Tori said, nodding slowly. "Do you need any help? I'm afraid I'm not much of a cook, but I'll do whatever you need..."

Catherine gave a grin. "How about you come over to my apartment, I have a large enough table and I can cook there. I just went grocery shopping earlier today so everything's fresh."
Aphrodite gave a cute grin, almost mocking her mothers. "Mama makes good mac'n'cheese!"

"Ohh, okay..." Tori wiggled his nose, nodding. "I was worried there, for a second; I'm not sure I have a lot of cooking materials here..."
Wycliff carefully rose from the floor, making sure he wasn't disturbing Aphrodite in the process. "Let's go!" He cried, smiling widely. "'m hungry!"

Catherine collected her things, picking up Nariko i her arms. "come on Garreth it's dinner time." She smiled at the baby dragon.
"Ok mama!" He cooed lifting himself up walking to the door.
Aphrodite merely kept her perch, happy. "Laala..." She sung quietly, the toddler wiggled back and forth.
Opening the door, she waited for Tori and Wy to follow.

Tori shuffled quickly after Diehard, looking back and holding out his hand. Wycliff toddled up to Tori, clasping his little grey hand in Tori's larger, furry one; the two, three counting Aphrodite, caught up with Diehard. "I think we're ready..." Tori said, squeezing Wycliff's hand gently; it had been a while since they had gone out, and the first time they were going to someone else's place for dinner.

Catherine smiled, leading the done the hall, taking a turn or two to reach Aphrodite's room. Opening the door, she lead them in, then going further to open another door that kead them into the apartment... that flet strange and miles away from the Magical Mishaps HQ.
Aphrodite giggled sweetly. " This is my room Wy!" She pointed, showing him the mural that encircled the room. "And dat way is to where we go watch TV and eat ." she pointed once more though the other door that was opened.
"Oo.. " Garreth grinned, using his tail to close the door behind everyone as soon as they made their way in. "This way!" He bounded though the other door and into the apartment.
Catherine settled the baby inside a highchair, in the small nook of a kitchen. Pulling out a pot filling it with water, she first began to cook the noodles.
"I can give you a tour!" the baby dragon smiled.

Tori followed Catherine closely, not wanting to get lost. When she pulled open the door to the apartment and entered, he shuffled after her, looking around the room. "Ahh, I like what you did with the place..." He said, his voice softer than usual.
Wycliff looked first to Aphrodite, then to Gareth. "Ahhh....Okay!" He said, toddling over to the baby dragon. "Coming?" He asked, turning to look at Aphrodite.
