He nodded in agreement. It did look dirty. "Eww, your right.." He backed way from the water as if it would kill him if he so happened to touch it. He wrinkled his nose at the water. " It didn't look too dirty until now." He said looking at his fur to see if he had gotten any of the water on him. Which looked as if he didn't.
As soon as he backed away something big came out of the water fast. The sound of hit was horrible. It was going to eat them!! The mysterious creature that had been stalking them finally showed it's true self. An crocodile.
"RUN!" Takumi said to his new friend that was closest to the beast that was snapping it's teeth at them as it missed totally on the lunge it was trying to do. "It'll eat us!!" He said as he turned and started to run then stopped to see if his friend was coming! "Its' one of the monsters!!"

After pulling her paw off the top of the water, she whipped her paw on the ground then jumped a little when the huge crocodile came lunging out of the water. A sharp high pitched squeal slipped from Asami's throat as she felt her cheeks burn in embarassment at her squealing at the large creature trying to eat them.
Out of pure instinct, Asami used her paw to pop the large creature in the nose before she ran after her new friend. "Run!" She squeaked out when she noticed him stop and look back for her. Asami scampered up to Takumi and nudged him forward. "Lets go." She said with a slight giggle as her heart pounded against her chest.

Takumi continued to run after she nudged him. Of course now seeing how she was with him, he was going to run. This time he was going to run towards a lighter area. That was close one. He slowed down and looked behind them. He could still hear the creature making splashing noises to go back into the water.
His heart was pounding as fast as he had ever. "I...." He was panting. "Never.... Want... To... Go... That..... Way again." He said as he took a deep breath after each word trying to get his cool again.

Asami found herself panting just as much as Takumi was. "That..was... fun." She spat out between breaths. A huge smile was plastered acrossed her face as she looked at Takumi. When she finally caught her breath, she nodded her head to him. "That was the most fun I have ever had!" The little kit said nodding her head quickly as she listened to the huge crocodile push itself back into the water.

Takumi gave a grin. "wouldn't have been if one of us got eaten though!" He said as he looked back at the now quiet area. He gave a full body shiver before he turned his back to the place. "Perhaps we can find more adventure, that's just a tad not wanting to eat us... "

Asami giggled softly and nodded her head. "Yes, wouldn't have been." She said as her ears perked straight up whenever she heard someone calling her name in the distance. "Oh... my daddy is calling, so I have to go." The kit said with a soft wave and ran towards the direction of the voice a little excited to get out of the forest, but next time she wouldn't be so easily scared away.

Takumi's ears went down as he heard his friend had to leave. This was sad... Very very sad. He smiled at her as if he wasn't going to miss her too much. "Can we play tomorrow then?" He asked her wagging his tail poof. His eyes started to water, but he held the tears back as much as he could. He didn't want to loose his first friend.

Asami smiled at her new friend and nodded her head quickly. "Yep!" She yelled out to him in a very happy voice. The little kit did not plan on loosing this new friend ever. Asami smiled whenever she looked back to Takumi.

He watched her go and decided it was best for him to start heading back to his pathetic family that he had. How he didn't want to, but it was the only thing he could do now. He flicked his bobbed tail and slowly walked back, ears down and finally letting his tears out slowly, and not loudly in case Asami was still in hearing distance.
