The flap of the teepee flew open as the taller female stepped outwards. Brushing her red hair back, her eyes settled on Tashika with a smile. "What a pleasant surprise, Tashika."
Taking a few short strides over to Sib, she placed a hand on his neck. Running her fingers along his pelt in an attempt to calm him down. "Its ok. Her solitary work is done and now your work together can begin." Looking to them both, she nodded her head in the direction the dark mare had gone. "You can go see her now if you wish."

"Atsila." Tashika murmured, relief filling her voice as a smile danced across her face. "It is nice to see you, and I am glad that things are well.. If you and Firefly would permit me, I would check on her... My training at Foalen's hands might be of some assistance, I feel that is why the Silver One came to get me..."
She glanced at her stallion as he nuzzled Atsila's shoulder, smiling.
Sibalto nuzzled Atsila and then perked toward the glade, eager to go see... He could smell Firefly, the sweet scent of midnight and mysteries.. His beloved mate... And three new scents...
THREE?
"Firefly?" He whinnied. "I would come to you, if you would allow it, my love."

Nodding her head, she gave a warm smile to them both. "I do not think Firefly would have any qualms about you going as well. I have been checking on her from time to time, but I'm sure you could probably offer some help if the need arose." With that, she gave a nod to each as she quietly slipped back into the teepee. Having some work that was needed to be finished.
Lifting her head at the sound of her mate's voice, she nickered softly. Her tail sweeping across the ground before it moved back to wrap its length around her three precious baskets. "Then come and see." She made no move to stand however. Still tired from the straining act of giving birth. It would take a moment for her to be able to gather herself to move.

The silver stallion didn't need to be told twice. Tashika had to run to keep up with him, though she hesitated at the edge of the little clearing and let Sibalto enter ahead of her.
For a moment he had eyes only for his mate, and nuzzled her furiously, murmuring words of endearment in his deep voice. "Are you well? Is there anything I can do for you? Are you in pain? Tashika came to be sure everything is alright..."
He finally eyed the baskets, heart swelling until he thought it might burst... His foals... Children... Finally... With Firefly.
Three of them.
"My gods, Beloved." He murmured breathlessly. "They are beautiful."

She smiled even more at his concerned words. A little bit of laughter escaping her delicate mouth as she let out a silent sigh. "No, its quite alright love. I am just fine and so are the little ones." Nosing each basket lovingly, she in turn nosed him back. "They are aren't they. Who know such tiny things could be so gorgeous. And there are three of them. What a handful this should be."

"You are the most wondrous of mares." He murmured, nuzzling her cheek. "And they... They are such a gift... I am sure our lives will be different, but I will be glad of it.. Such wondrous things.. The Spirits truly are kind..."
He nosed the nearest basket, a grey one with a dream catcher hanging out the lip, a silver gem gleaming in the light. The foal inside made a sleepy whicker of sound, and then stilled, obviously asleep.
"Such wonderful gifts..."

Blushing lightly, she smiled weakly and nuzzled him back. "Yes." That was all she could really reply with. Her mind had grown tired now and she wanted to sleep for a bit.
Laying her head down, she nuzzled each basket lovingly before letting her eyes close half way. Though it seemed as if she was going to sleep, Firefly was in fact listening to all around her. Her mate's voice, the rustling of the nearby tree's leaves. Everything seemed to be in place now.

"Rest deep my love, You deserve it... I shall be here.. And Tashika, and the others... " He murmured, pacing once around the clearing, and then returned to stand over her, watching his Kiwani Maiden.
Tashika moved forward and listened to the mare's breathing, checking the baskets, and then smiling. They were all in wonderful health. With a final nod to the family she returned to the clearing. "Ayita! They are beautiful! Did you see?"

Firefly's ears twitched and she glanced at Tashika for a moment. She knew there was no threat from the small two legger, but still. That motherly instinct kicked in as soon as she headed towards the baskets. But she restrained herself and relaxed as soon as she left. Slipping off into a light sleep still curled about the baskets.
Atsila had moved out of her teepee and sat in front of her fire pit, poking at the small blaze that she had started. Smoking rising up and above the trees. As Tashika returned, she glanced over her shoulder with a smile. "Yes, yes. I've seen them. They are lovely."

Settling at his mate's side, Sibalto carefully folded his legs underneath him and snuggled up to her side, resting his chin on her side and withers, nose pressed to the nearest basket. His beautiful mare, and their family. With a soft sigh he settled to keep watch for as long as his family needed to rest, feeling perfectly content.
Surely this was Paradise?
"I love you, Firefly."
"They're beautiful!" Tashika murmured, sitting near her. "And they're all healthy! Did, did you know?"
She tilted her head, having been wondering at Sibalto's odd behaviors, but not thinking too much of it. And now! He had a family!

She smiled lightly as his words made their way into her unconscious mind. A small mumbling noise coming from her as she rested. The warmth of his body against her's felt wonderful. And the warmth coming from each basket even more so.
Smiling at Tashika, she laughed lightly. Brushing her hair back away from the fire lightly as it started to grow. "They are beautiful." Giving another cheerful laugh, she watched the smaller girl out of the corner of her eye. "Yes, I knew. The pair had come here lead by Chu'mana."

"Chu'mana?" Tashika asked, resettling herself. "I do not know that name... Well, I am glad they made it home safely... And I had not seen Firefly for some time, so..."
She smiled and splayed her hands. "I am pleasantly surprised..."
Sibalto whickered a farewell to his human and another sweet word to his mate, and then turned his attention to the clearing. This would be a wonderful place to raise his family, here.. And then again they could go to the glades near Tashika's home.. Thankfully Tashika and Atsila did not live too far away...
And the foals would have plenty to see and explore as they grew. A family at last... Sibalto had finally found his paradise... "I love you..."
