The Church of Mod's adoption agency welcomes you. The first place you may want to look at is the
Welcome to Gaia forum. There you can introduce yourself to the rest of the Town and makes some new friends.
If you've got any questions about GAIA Online, the
FAQ is good reading to answer your basic questions (including stuff about gold, rares, events and more), or the
Questions and Feedback forum will be able to provide answers to more in-depth or technical queries about GAIA Online.
If you want roleplay,
Barton Town is the place to be.
If you want to meet people with similar interests, try joining a
Guild or looking round the
Guilds forum.
If you're interested in talking about movies, videogames, collectable card games, comics/manga, anime, books or music, the
Entertainment forums are the place for you.
If you want to talk about your avatar, the cunningly-named
Avatar Talk subforum is the place to go.
If you just want to hang out and chat with people about nothing in particular or post nonsense because you're bored, please do that in the
Chatterbox, or hang out in the
GAIA Commerce forum, where are loads of virtual meeting places and plenty of people willing to talk to you - here in General Discussion is not the place for random chat and spam, and if you try to start there's a good chance you'll get horribly flamed.
If you want gold or items, you can either spam to your heart's content in the
Chatterbox, or go and beg for gold in the
Charity subforum.
If you want to buy or sell items, the
GAIA Exchange and
GAIA Marketplace are where you need to go.
If you to buy or sell sig images, avatar portraits or collectable/breedable pets, go to the
Minishops forum.
