Survivalists (Red Mages) - Similar to the spellsword in concept, the Red Mage splits his abilities between the arenas of physical and magical combat, with this exception: They care more about their magic. First and foremost, a survivalist does just that - Whatever it takes to survive, from blasting beasties to fencing foreign powers. They tend to acquire regenerative qualitities over time, all the better to sustain their relatively small health pools, an unfortunate side-effect of their magical and physical prowess.
Favoured Spell: Lesser mana shield, energy burst.
Favoured Action: Power up
Favoured passive: Regeneration.

A small orb of shadow drifts gently into the room to hover near Gerbo. The sphere splits open and stretches out to make a fuzzy image of Gonzu's face. "Greetings Friend Gerbo! I have wonderful news! I am currently in a pyramid with Bellamin and we have discovered some news spells! I myself have acquired a Twin blast spell. While Bellamin has found an Anti-magic wisp spell. We also have a Greater Mana shield that we will be bringing back. One of the other's might lay claim to it, but i'm confident they will sell it to a member of the order if asked. Hopefully we will be able to make it out of this dungeon with these news spells. Wish us luck." The shadowy screen collapses back upon itself and disappears.

Gerbo threw some dust up into the air and spoke.
"Gonzu! I would be interested in researching those spells when you get back here."
The sound from Gerbos voice bouced of the grains of dust floating in the air ans the whisped away into the unknown.

"OK! we need a group of wizards to represent "The Order" in the new survival tournement!!!
I think my all around magic, Gonzu's nuke power, and bellamin's ability to use both magic and wepons, would be an awesome group!
Both me a Bellamin both have healing stuff... so we can survive longer... but we need someone still that can take ALOT of damage and pull attacks from us....
I could summon my mist beast... he can take blows like no ones business. Anyone else have any other suggestions?"
(And btw, I'm really not being biased! I'm going off of the people with the most posts in this thread. Me, Gonzu, and Bellamin, [though tarothin, you were really close behind bellamin!])

"I just though of something... An entire team of magic users might not be so grand... I mean, a good party has variety, and a bunch of mages might not last long against melee undead."
Bellamin sighed
"But then again, the main prizes are spells, so it might not be so easy to find a fighter."

"Plus i can stun, Both you and i can heal, ans so can your summon, and Gonzu can blast the crap out of everyone! And we have our magical mist beasty to protect us as well!! just bring in 2 potions of defense, that way, if we face a strong attack, then we can at least block it somewhat! Bellamin your a spellsword anyway, do you happen to have the taunt ability?"

"Uhh... Actually, to use that armguard to heal, I have to leave my sword behind. It's way too heavy. And no," Bellamin bit his lip. "I kinda forgot to ask, and all I got from my first dungeon was this."
He placed his blood dagger onto a nearby table
"I gave you my healing spell remember? And Gonzu has an emergency healing spell as well"

A second orb of shadow drifts through the window and stretches into Gonzu's visage. "Ah yes Gerbo! I am quite looking forward to the upcoming Survival tournaments." The face looks in shock at Bellamin. "Bellamin. But your here. But also there. Paradox!!!" Shrugging off the quirks of space-time he continues.
"If the teams are limited to three then I think you, Bellamin and myself would make a wonderful team. I have a healing spell if necessary, also I can use Mana block to stop undead mages."
