So, I had occasion to be playing my Steampunk character, Nora, again this past weekend. In the course of the mystery adventure where I was playing her, something very interesting came up.
There was tea sitting on a table on one of the sets. It was there for the mystery game players to partake and every once in a while so would the cast. Around mid-afternoon, it felt like time to drink some. So, careful to remain in character as there were players about, I went over to the table and started making myself some tea.
Nora wanted to drink Earl Grey. I wanted spiced chai. In my brain, we argued about it for a minute or so. Then came the really kinda scary part.
Nora won the argument and we drank Earl Grey. I don't even like Earl Grey!
I've spent some time since then wondering what that says about me...

I really think about what role that character will playing then i think about what they should be like to fit that role. Then the name to be fit them, i can't stand a name for a jock attached to a nerd, it sounds weird. Then i think of a basic appearance for that character to fit the personality. Then i let the character evolve from that.

Gee Berz, that's pretty weird. I'd say you were in a marriage where you are whipped so you seriously need to regain control. You don't want yer characters running yer life, do you? xp
I hear that Mystic! I wonder how many more people do that... neutral
