He nipped at her ear once more, slightly more playfully this time, "Why would I want anyone else?" he asked, his tone still soft and thick with feeling, not matching the playful gesture at all.

Aritania giggled softly, batting at him with a dainty paw. "I don't know, Golden One? Why would you?"
She arched a brow at him, then smirked. "Not that it matters now, for you invited me to your side... And I intend to accept... No female could prevent me from doing so..."

Apollo grinned and bowed to her, "Then we have no problem," he said with a gentle sigh in his voice. No use debating the impossible, he figured! "Though now you will have to pass my sister's inspection," he said with a wink, leaving it up to her to decipher his meaning of that.

"Inspection?" She echoed, arching a golden brow. "Inspection?"
What was she? A prized antelope? Making a rather indelicate noise, she shrugged. "I wonder what she will think of me, Golden King..."

Apollo nipped at her ear, "Not to worry," he said with a grin, "She's very nice. Just has her own way of going about things sometimes." He glanced over her for a moment, and his grin widened, "As long as you don't ask her about a mate, you'll be fine."
Yes, that was the only mistake his queen could make, he was sure of it. But if she slipped up - though he knew that she wouldn't - he'd have to make the choice of leaving her or leaving his pride, because his sister wouldn't budge from opinion or home. That made him chuckle - no, there'd be no problem.

"Ask her about her mate? Or ask her about mine?" She asked, laughing softly. "I would not dare ask a stranger such a personal question... So I believe, you have nothing to fear..."
She tossed her head, rubbing against his side softly. A new life... A new Pride.. What would her parents think?
"Oh... No... Daddy..." She sighed softly, eyes wide.

Apollo cocked his head at her, brows raised, "Hm?" Oh - he had forgotten to even ask about her family... and he assumed by her voice that it might be a problem. "Your father...?" he asked, spirits sinking slightly. Oh boy...

She winced as her new love realized what she had just remembered... Ahh yes... Daddy... Oh dear.. How could she have forgotten she'd have to discuss this with him? Mamma would understand... Of course.. And Jade... But Rell and father were Rell and father...
"Yes... We'll have to speak to him.. Well, mother first, but Papa too..." She murmured softly...
