((OOC: I'm so sorry! I was sick. I know how stupid that sounds, but I seriously could not get out of bed.))
Tekira examined it. "I love it. It's so unique. Where did your parents get it?" she asked, fascinated that something like this could be for sale. "Please don't say this is a common thing where you come from, otherwise I'll feel like an idiot." she said, laughing.

Faey of the Silver Heart (( Nice intro xd Visualizing it makes me laugh)) Faeandra heard a series of loud noises coming from not too far off, but managed not to run off towards them, so as not to be rude to Zepher. "I see," She glanced at the sky, "Well, time is passing, and I must be going. You are free to come along, if you are headed towards the Black Dunes." ((Sorry this took little while, I couldn't find anything to say, something had me messed up.)) "I would be glad to."He said, forgetting the danger of him going to the dunes.

"You want to get on? If you don't want to I'll stay with you." Janika said with a smile.

((Hey, didn't mean to make you feel rushed, sorry!
In response to the question, Aer's mind blanked. Trying to come up with a quick lie, every word sounded like its own sentence.
"Er, um. A. Friend. Of. The. Family. Sold. It. To. Us...? Yeah, a friend of the family. Had an extra one, bought it at a low price, sold it to us for a litle more, but still below market price. No, they're not common at all, but there are a few of them out and about." He paused. "Erm, you probably noticed, but I'm a Calan. This thing... They're hoping the gitacr will make travel between the floating islands much easier, especially for Calan who can't use Magick, or aren't very good with it." He frowned. "Like me, I can't fly or teleport. I can do other things," and he gestured at the third seat, "but nothing spectacular."

"I'm a Calan too." Janika replied.
(I don't know much about this stuff. Is there a difference between Calan and Gortul)

((OOC: @animelover: I get sick really easily, yeah. @Ikken: It's not a problem. If I'm making you wait too long, feel free to rush me, I won't mind. @animelover again: And the difference between Gortuls and Calans are on the first page.))
Tekira looked at him with slightly suspicious eyes. He wasn't very convincing. "Really?" she asked skeptically. Then she looked it over again. "Wow. The Calans must be much more advanced than we are when it comes to technology like this." she murmured. She glanced up again and shrugged a little. "I can't do much either. It's not a big deal."

anime-lover116 (I don't know much about this stuff. Is there a difference between Calan and Gortul) (( Gortuls are smaller and faster, and generally of a more delicate countenance then Calans. They make better spies, better theives, better assassins, ninjas, politicians, double agents, and in general rely more on cunning. Calans are taller, have a more golden skin tone, and are generally hardier from being exposed to more of the elements. They're stronger and bigger, and make better warriors, archers, commanders, and adventurers. In general, they rely more on ability and natural prowess then the cunning and tricks that Gortuls use. Other then that, the differences vary and most are what you'd expect the difference between underground dwelling races and sun-soaking races would be.))

Faeandra smiled and dipped a quick curtsy. "Well then, welcome aboard, fellow traveler. Have you been through the Black Dunes?" She asked, walking and talking at the same time, "I myself am on fairly good terms with the Marauders. Only took me beating on their leader to do it, but hey, at least it happened."

Among a neaby groave of blackened trees, Wraith watched, concealed by the powers of his Heartte, in the shape of a small gold coin, from sight and magick. What a peculiar little machine, he thought to himself. Thinking he may be able to make use of it, the Wanderer of the Wastes sent out his conciousness to his nearby Ship and search for the chords he wanted. There. Carefully extending his probes as to not alarm the observers, he ran them over the foreign craft, creating a ethreal blueprint of the device ant storing it in the Ships vast memory. His ship. His Wraith.
The ship was the pride and joy of his family. for hundreds of years, his Ancestors had scoured the skys, capturing the Hearttes of unwary adventurers. The Legacy of the Wraith was now his. Literally composed of thousands of Hearttes, the power it carried was vast. Even after captaining the thing for several years, Wraith still had yet to unlock many of it's abilities stolen from the Hearttes of many. It would seem that none here yet possessed such a heart, yet one seemed much like his ship. Oh bah, time to make himself known. Wraith fingered his ring, shifting through the multiple appearances untill he found one that suited him.
Out of the stand of trees stepped a well-dressed Gortul, eyeing the craft appreciatively. "Well since ye seem so proud of this 'ere piece of junk, mind telling us 'ow it works?"

The Unsung Bard ((Okay, before I make my post, I want to know exactly where we are at location wise.)) ((Okay. Um, it's a little hard to explain without a map or a home point to speak in relation to, but I'll try ^_^"" Let's see, Faeandra and Sepher (me girl charrie and Xaron) are just a little north of the tunnel entrance to a Gortul city. Just north of us are what are known as the Black Dunes, a desert occupied by marauders clothed always in black. Just a little beyond those two, about a mile or so, are all the other characters. My boy charrie, Avoron, is just a little south of them, maybe half a mile. The area surrounding consists, if memory serves, of a petrified forest, a dried up lake bed, and a massive canyon.))

I imagine they don't remember or pay attention to you to much then, if you don't go there often. Don't worry, you'll be fine with me." She assured him, "They're actually quite decent, once you win their trust. Otherwise, they're just gonna kill you."
