Damon8 Three moves all in one? And Balmung was expecting Damon to just stand there and not react to it in anyway? Well, as the psion knew, Balmung was an airhead indeed. So while Balmung was casting, Damon began to work a little 'magic' of his own.
The outline of his body began to shimmer slightly, almost as though it were vibrating at a high frequency. Damon's lips first contorted into a smile, which slowly gave way to a stoic expression. Both arms at his sides, his entire body went complete motionless, as though he were waiting for the techniques to be launched at him. Which they soon where.
Assuming Balmung got within melee range rather quickly, Damon simple allowed him to preform his horizontal slash, and then his downwards slash and finally ended up with his powerful upwards slash. The attack seemed to move in a double blurred fashion. Giving the image that the sword was moving through time to slash with the same technique twice.
Slowly, the destroyed body of Damon would evaporate into the air, to reveal it was nothing more then a psionic construct. It seemed that in his wasted effort, Damon had taken the time to get behind Balmung, and would simply slam a powerful elbow strike inbetween his shoulderblades. Of course, to add to the impact, a burst of psionic force would be pushed into the one spot as well. Ouch.

Haru Tachibana ~...+ ((2HQ: 7 turns left)) +...~Balmung flew forward several feet and skid face-down across the ground. His armor produced small sparks as they came in contact with the cement.
"Hmmm."
Balmung slowly got up and brushed the dirt from his body.
"Substitution..."
Slowly, he stood straight up and held Zweihander horizontally at his left side. His eyes glinted, and he swung, causing two blades of kamaitachi wind to fly straight out toward Damon.

Damon8 Normally an elbowstrike on heavy armor is a doubled edged sword, but the psionic force had made a cushion which protected Damon from harm. And as Balmung went face first into the dirt, skidding a few feet away, Damon would prepare once more. His body shimmering in the same way it had previously, not that the face down Balmung would be able to see this happening.
As he rose from the ground, turned his weapon to his left and launched blades of wind, he would find them lacking.
They would find their mark so to speak, but would instead merely slice right through another construct. The blades would continue on past the now vaporised figure and slam into a building and demon bodies, causing a blast of white and red debris to fill the air. Creating something of a cloud of red dust, moved only by the wind. Hinting of the smell of death, blood and rot.
" Still haven't caught on, airhead? "

Haru Tachibana ~...+That's it. +...~~...+ ((2HQ:6 Turns Left)) +...~Balmung narrowed his eyes. That one was an illusion as well. If he could just find the real one, then he could attack it. As his kamaitachi blades cut through the illusion and cut through the demon bodies, he was struck with inspiration.
....I've got it.

Damon8 This was more like a game of grabass then it was actually a fight. He was expecting so much more of Balmung then what he was getting. Maybe Damon's expectations were raised too high or something. Maybe it was because he had set such a high standard for himself, that he expected everybody else would have the same. Balmungs technique was lazy, unrefined, and careless. Damon's was tactical, and swift. It was very clear who had the advantage right now.
" You're... so much weaker then I remember. "
The voice was disembodied and astral in a sense. As though the psions voice was coming from every direction, all at the same time. It was a telepathic message sent directly to Balmung. No mind reading, no mind tapping, it was simply like how a radio picks up a signal and the message comes in over the speakers. Balmungs brain was like the radio receiver, his ears were the speakers and Damon's message was just a radio transmission.
Giving him the perfect way to conceal himself, somewhat at least, and talk to Balmung.
But that was just one transmission, while Damon worked on another little surprise. Beneath the ground, he was amassing the energy from the constructs, as well as his own psionic energy. Forming something. But what? Balmung would know soon enough.

Haru Tachibana ~...+ ((2HQ: 5 Turns Left)) +...~"Me? Weaker? Don't kid yourself."
Balmung let a slow smile wash over his features. "You have no idea what I'm capable of. The battle's just begun, and you're already claiming yourself the winner. How childish...and you're two years older than me."
Gripping Zweihander tightly, Balmung began to spin around in a circle.

Damon8 Damon didn't really know how to take that. Where did he get the childish part from? Matter of fact, when had Damon ever declare himself the winner of this fight? All the psion had said was simply, 'Balmung was much weaker then he remember him being'. He hadn't arrogantly shouted that he was gonna be the winner of the fight or any such nonsense. But airhead was the king of nonsense it seemed, for he was the only arrogant one here. Bluntly stating that Damon had no idea what he was capable of, when he didn't know what Damon was capable of. Now who is the childish one?
But now onto more pressing matters then the airheads poor logic. But the fact that he was starting to spin in some way. This indicated to Damon, whom was nearby, that Balmung was getting ready to use another attack. He seemed to rely a lot of the power of the blades swing to create his blades of wind. So it was openly obvious.
But Damon wouldn't give him the chance to do anything. Time was never on Balmungs side, and Damon had all the time and energy in the world to play with Balmung. Which is about what this fight amounted too right now. Damon wasn't even being serious, and Balmung was still falling into his trap.
With a mere upwards flick of his wrist, one large ball of psionic energy would rapidly burst through the earth and aim to clobber the more then likely unaware knight. It wasn't really that strong, considering it would come up under the guard, and wouldn't need to have power to survive a sword strike.
As for where Damon's presence was, he was around. He could see Balmung's back on level ground from where he was standing. At least he could see it at a right angle.

Haru Tachibana ~...+ ((2HQ: 4 Turns Left)) +...~"Ryuuaoriken!"Ryuukiaoriken (Rising Gust Sword) - Rank: C The user spins around and by using the centrifugal force of the spins, creates a stronger kamaitachi of wind that follows after a powered-up uppercut slash. The number of spins determines the dizziness and the power of both the kamaitachi and the uppercut slash. Balmung spun once, deflecting the psychic ball straight into the air and splitting it with his kamaitachi.
"Is that all? If your attacks can still be blocked with just one spin..then you've gained nothing from training. You're still as weak as ever."

Damon8 First of all, it was really strange that Balmung knew Damon had been training. But even more so that he had managed to intercept a surprise attack. But that didn't matter really, for airheads own arrogance had just tripped him up. An improvised tactic of Damon's was quite simple, as the psychic ball was split in half, it simply became two smaller and more densely packed spheres. Each one simply forty five percent the size of a basketball in full. He had the control over his own constructs, so it wasn't all that surprising that he was able to simply reconstruct them.
And now, with a downwards flick of his wrist, he directed the spheres back towards Balmung. Each one falling faster, harder and stronger then the original ball had in the first place. Of course he could probably see them coming, and would probably try to intercept them... If he did nothing, they would simply avert and smash right into the ground.
But did that honestly matter?
Damon watched the display.

Haru Tachibana ~...+ ((2HQ: 3 Turns Left)) +...~Balmung smirked, and spun rapidly. The vacuum that he created caused the psychic balls to actually get sucked into an orbit and shoot out back where they came from.

Damon8 Just as figured; an intercept. But something was very odd about this one kind of intercept, that being the simple nature of it. What was Balmung to gain by simply launching the spheres back up into the sky? If Damon could control how they formed, wouldn't the logical progression be to the fact that he could control them?
Oh yeah, this is airhead we're talking about here, not a strategist. In the end, Damon was starting to see what Balmung really was. He was little more then a child that had come across too much power. Too immature and unversed in the ways of real combat. Damon had set a much higher standard for himself after his defeat, which by now he only considered to be a fluke. A loss by the simple fact he was new to this world and just learning how to use his powers.
Even as Damon collected his thoughts on these matters, he would shift the spheres back into motion once again. Dropping them towards the ground at a rapid pace, only to have them slam into the earth three feet in front of Balmung. Kicking up a little dirt and debris in the process. And so they would bury.
What would happen next?

Haru Tachibana ~...+ ((2HQ:2 Turns Left)) +...~Well this is turning out to be more fun than I thought.
Balmung brought Zweihander above his head.
"Hiryuukaze!"Hiryuukaze (Flying Dragon Wind) - Rank: D- Simply a name for when the user uses a powerful gust of wind to striking the ground from his sword, propelling him into the sky and allowing him to levitate using wind. A gust of wind erupted from Zweihander, sending him into the sky.

Damon8 Thank you once again for falling right into the trap. Because going up into the air when the spheres go into the ground is the most logical progression. As Balmung headed up, Damon took a step out of the ally he had been in to get a good look at the sky. Yep, the knight was up there, and was now in a very vulnerable position. Unless airhead could use his stagnating wind techniques to make himself fly about like a one ton birdy, he wouldn't be doing much up in the sky.
Damon followed through with this attack.
One of the two spheres in the ground instantly shot up out of the ground and raced up towards Balmung. Moving at a the same rate of speed upwards as it would going down. Why? Psionic techniques don't tend to be drawn in by the gravity of a planet. But Gaia didn't seem to be all that different from Earth, so that made it relevant here.
They were posited to strike Balmung right out of the air.

Balmung turned in the direction of Damon's attack and began spinning Zweihander in front of him.
...Make this count...Fuushaken!Fuushaken (Windmill Blade) - Rank: C By spinning their blade in a in front of them, the user generates a cyclone of wind that blocks attacks. The downside is, that the cyclone only appears in front, and not anywhere else. The cyclone can also be fired afterwards as a counterattack. One cyclone of wind blocked Damon's attack, while the other rocketed straight for him.

Damon8 And so the sphere was blocked by Balmung's whirlwind, though for all Balmung knew, he had just temporarily averted it. When it got blown back by the whirlwind, it simply shot back down into the ground. There it would remain alongside it's brother sphere until Damon decided to call upon them.
But right now he had something even more pressing to deal with. He had stepped out of the alleyway in order to get a clear aim on Balmung, meaning that he had been seen. And now, he had a whirlwind attack heading right towards him! Oh boy, whatever would the psion do against this onslaught?
Damon brought his arms up in front of him and extended his hands, as though here were about to embrace the attack with open arms. Instead, a shimmer appeared around the outline of his arms and his hands. His eyes widened and then narrowed, his teeth gritted, and relaxed, every muscle in his body seemed to tense up and then relax.
BOOOM
The mighty whirlwind completely enshrouded Damon's body, kicking up some much dirt and debris around him after the blast, that he simply evaporated out of sight. But this was not the end of Damon, oh no, this battle had just begun.
When the smoke cleared, a transparent bubble a completely encased Damon. He had formed a shield before the point of impact, completely blocking out Balmungs whirlwind attack. It wasn't the first time he had relied upon a shield in a battle against the knight. But it was the first time that he used a shield when he could have simply blown the whole thing apart with his new found psionic powers.
" Teh, that's all you got? "
A simple line for Balmung, a retort to counter his previous counter to Damon's own psionic ball. Which he would now call upon to attack Balmung. He would need to keep his offensive up in order to stay one step of his airheaded friend. As indicated by a directing hand motion, the two spheres in the ground would shoot up from the ground, and aim to smash Balmung. The intention was to catch him resting, or at least make him use his power up.
