Aha ha ha! The pink DS Lite! What some of you say is true, non-gamer girls like the pink DS! After Christmas (when I finally got enough money to upgrade to the Lite!) My Game Stop kept selling out of DSLs. So I asked my Mom to call and ask if they had gotten a shipment every Monday. She agreed after some speculation about why a care so much about it and a little bit of, "Hannah can't you just be more girly?" and then some, "You have a DS why do you want to get another one!?" So one day I walked in form school and said, "Hey Mom? How are you? Any news on the DS?" She nodded. I squeaked the waiting was over! Then I asked, "What color are they?" She said there pink. I shook my head no. The fallowing conversation went like this:
Me: That won't do.
Mom: Why? It is a DS!
Me: It's pink!
Mom: So?
Me: Mom, I want black.
Mom: Why does the color matter?
Me: Because if I have to stare at that obnoxious pink for hours I may just die. This thing's costing me lots of cash, and I want it black.
Mom: *sighs* You’re a girl, get pink.
Me: No. Sorry.
So most non-gamer girl like pink. That's very smart marketing to me.

you know I wanted a Pink DSL....but then I read what Kesstiva wrote, and it makes sense. That color pink is just too obnoxious for me to be staring at all day. THANKS FOR MAKING ME CHANGE MY MIND!! I would have definately regreted that. [plus it wouldnt have matched any of my outfits sweatdrop ]

I love pink, but not in my electronics. I like my electronics to be Black or Silver^^c For DS I purchased polar white only because it was the best to go with my Final Fantasy Skin <3

When I got my DS Lite in Australia, colours were not an option. -_-'''
I don't mind the colour itself, but I hate the way some people just assume I have a pink one because I'm a girl.
It's all preference I suppose. I know a guy with a pink DS Lite whee
