Rojiza nods and smiles a little, happy to stay as long as he wished as long as she could be among the birds. She understands that he needs to attend to people who need his attention.

Tamlin was surprised when she heard the price, only 60 couplets. she had assummed the beautiful birds which sung fortunes would be far more expensive. now she was posed with a problem, she wanted the banya but she hadnt expected to be able to maybe afford it.

"jus' a moment sir, to let me think."

Tamlin turned around and opened her small purse. 65 couplets was all she had and 60 would take her down to 5... She looked back at the bird, and it was so beautiful. she would take it she decided, she was a member of a caravan now and she could support herself with that.

"I, I'll take him. and you said all i'll need for care an' whotnot is included?"

she took out her 60 couplets and handed them, open palm towards the shop keep.

((So sorry!! Had to help with a wedding!))

Heather nodded and stood aside, Kala still sleeping in her arms thankfully. She watched as the birds were sold and she watched as Rojza also seemed to lurk around.

Marissa approached, looking around curiously. Kale was trailing complacently and chit chatting to the Banya on his shoulder. The only remaining Banya in the wagon, that was, as Lucia has flown off.

The gypsy tapped Teniel on the shoulder. "Excuse me sir...I hear you can call back lost Banyas."

Taniel nodded, taking her money and preparing the Sea Loam to be transfered to his new home.

"Oh, yes. Seeing as how I thought business might pick up here, I wrote some basic care instructions." He motioned to the perch, where there was parchment tied to it. "It's fairly easy - just let him fly about at times, once he knows your wagon as his home, and let him eat seed and worms whenever he chooses."

He finished the transaction up, and turned to both Heather and Marissa. "So. Both of you are in search of missing Banya? If my little assistant here -" he nodded to Ro with a small smile- "doesn't mind waiting a bit more, I can try the first attempt right away. As I've already told my first guest in search of Banya, my voice can bring back Banya who have flown, if they still remain nearby.

"Heather, I'll start with your Banya first."

He exited the wagon, taking a few light steps onto the ground at the foot of the small steps. He took a few breaths, focusing on Heather as he centered himself. His eyes slid half-closed, and his head tilted back as he began to sing. It was a haunting, soft and sweet melody, higher pitched than any man his age should be able to sing. It had a strange quality to it, one that picked at the meij every so often, reverberating through it in small waves. With the image of Heather, the Banya's caretaker, in his mind, he sung out to the lands around them.

When there was no response from the surrounding lands, he frowned.

"Apparently, Miss Heather, your Banya has flown farther than my voice can reach. The next step involves some work on your part. But we will talk more after I sing for the other Banya of yours." He repeated the song, with a slight change.

Taniel was obviously displeased with the results. He turned to Heather, frowning. "We must have waited too long - the Banya have both flown beyond where my voice can reach. We will speak more in a moment, I assure you - there are still things that might be done.

"As for you, Miss," he said, turning to Marissa. "Hopefully, you will have better luck." He looked over Marissa, learning the details of her face and dress, before repeating his song. It changed slightly in tune, but not much - it simply encompassed a different aspect of... something.

((La la la, 1-25 again. Random numbers seem to be running high today...))

Rojiza waits patiently, happy that the pretty gypsy had gotten a Banya of her own. She giggles and blushes a little when Taniel mentions her. His assistant! Her mind races, thinking over what that might mean. She listens, enraptured, as he sings. What a beautiful voice! Mama's voice is nice, but so husky compared to Taniel's clear song.

Anezka made her way over towards Taniel, knowing that this new caravan member would be helpful in retrieving Hadassah. She smiled at Kale and Rojiza, then stood off to the side, waiting her turn while Marissa was making use of Taniel's services. As she listened to his song, she slowly closed her eyes, twirling her fingers through her long raven black hair.

Marissa frowns. Kale piqued up and listened, too, and looked rather crestfallen when Lucia did not return. "Oh," Marissa said softly, "But still, I'm sure there's something that can be done...? I'd do quite a lot to get our Lucia back." She squeezes Kale's shoulder reassuringly.

Heather sighed, though she expected no such luck but she did miss her birds and for Amkia, she would do anything.

"I am willing to help trade all I have to try and get them back. My son misses them so much." She smiled, shifting Kala about in her arms. The cat girl got a bit heavy after a while.

Taniel looked at the women he had tried to help, nodded. "It won't quite take all of your possessions - merely a few items. I need both of you to bring me a few common items - some thread, a needle. Also, ask the trees permission and bring me a nut or berries, as a sacrifice. And I will see what I can do."

Then he turned to his new visitor, the rabbit girl. "And are you also coming in search of a Banya?"

Heather nodded and left quickly.

She first went back to her caravan where she found a needle and thread as she had been mending some clothes just the night before. While she was there she placed Kala in her 'bed' that was more like a cage, this way there wouldn't be problems while she wasn't around. Putting the items in her pouch she then went out looking for berries or a nut.

She went over to a bush and looked over it, there were no berries. She continued looking over bushes and tree's before she found one with berries. She didn't quite understand about asking but she did so anyway.

"Excuse me, may I take some berries?"

She waited for a while, not long though and as nothing happened that seemed to be negative she picked a few berries and returned to the Banya man's caravan, entering she showed him the items and waited.

Hearing Taniel turn his attention to her, Anezka stepped forward and nodded. "Yes. My mother's banya, Hadassah, is one of the disappeared." She left it at that, not wanting to explain that her banya was the first called forward that day...or that the strange events had caused her beautiful growth.

"Mama, can I take this?"

Marissa was back in the wagon, and she craned her head to look at her son. He was clutching a crystal vase and looked hopeful. Marissa choked and said, "Kale, dear, no, not that. Find something...smaller." He frowned and returned to searching the wagon for knick knacks.

One petunia seed packet, charcoal pencil, wooden top, and shiny coin later, Kale's pockets were stuffed with things he thought Taniel might find useful. Marissa pocketed a needle and thread and took Kale by the hand to go and petititon the trees.

She found a magestic oak and saw that the ground around it was littered with acorns. She raised her eyebrows at Kale and smiled, at which he approached the tree and knelt down at it's base. "Um...may I...take some acorns...please?" He implored, waiting anxiously for an answer. When none came, he looked back at his mother, who nodded reassuringly. Convinced, he picked up three or four acorns and led the way back to Taniel.
