rikuHEART I also went through and reinforced rule #8 (about locking and deleting old, unneccessary [sp?] topics). Thanks. ^_^ Ever since they created the "Vice Captain" I can't delete topics anymore and can only lock and/or move topics unless I became the Vice Captain.

rikuHEART I'm almost ready to get the guild's first contest up (just 1.9k more to go, shouldn't be too long before all the prizes are ready). Here's a description...
CONTEST--Why do you love nature? Can be expressed in any way.
JUDGED ON--For all pieces: creativity, effort, how well it states the person's reason(s) in an original way. If visual and/or craft piece: neatness, simplicity, yet still gives off a strong message. If writing: conventions, lyricality (if that's a word... eek what I mean is if it's very powerful or not and how nice it sounds). If website piece: both the visual and writing part. If musical piece: if it's a nice melody, harmony (if there is one) goes well w/ the melody, how well it states the person's reason(s), if it's moving.
RULES--Must be original, no porn or extensive cussing (hopefully ppl won't relate that to the environment >.>), must relate to the contest question, only one entry per member, PM judges the URL of the entry and state the reason clearly in the PM.
PRIZES--
1st place: Elven ears+2000g
2nd place: Black catscratch hat+1000g
3rd place: Cat tail+500g
Here are my questions for you guys...
1. Will you be willing to be judges? I want to have more than one judge so that there is no favoring for one person.
2. Should we send out messages to all our members about this, since many aren't active in the guild ( stare )?
3. Anything you'd like to change or add (or take out) of the description above?
Thanks, guys. I actually like it, am I allowed to join? I love writing poetry. ^_^;;

It just gets too complicated that way. I love writing poetry too, though I suck. xd I have a few I wrote on my website... So any answers to the questions?

Well how about we stop, I mean all of the regular occuring members are here, and those who are committed should be the ones who actually join the contest. I mean if we tell everyone, especially those who've never posted once, and they come and submit, that's not really fair to the people who've been here for a while...
