Onyx reached the entrance to the forest, anxious to find Iles. She barely noticed the pain in her legs now as she was worried about Iles.

Dycepius noticed a large square hole in the ground, the walls of the hole appeared to be metallic. The smoke was emanating from it. The only question the could ask would be how deep it was. Dycepius intended to find out. He picked up a large pebble and dropped it down. Seconds.. minutes passed. Nothing.

"How are we getting down there..?" He basically asked the wind.

"Thanks.. but I think I see another way." Dycepius said, he unsheathed his sword and struck it into the mechanical wall, the sharp side facing down. His weight carried him down, and Dycepius was slightly surprised at the density of the walls, or lack thereof.

20 seconds later he had reached the bottom. It appeared to be a mysterious facility, but Dycepius would wait for Lark to join him.

Josiah sits on the high branches of a an anceint tree his back to the silvery trunk , he glisining spiderwebs Stark contrast to his Shinning silky black long hair, He sat playing his silver flute, the flute of souls, a beautiful spider crawly on her web peers down and listens to the serene song , her catch being slowly drained as he plays as she listens,

One leg dangling off the edge of the tall branchthe other curled slightly to his chest as he plays the Song Of Life,

The area around him seemed to blossem for the song drew no magic from him at all, it wwas mearly the bmagic of music , weaving its gentle hands around the souls and hearts of all living natrual creature and plnts, even the tree seemed to respond to the gentle Slowl melody, the spider swayed on her web to the pulsing rhythem of the flute and its delicate song,


Joiahs eyes Ohalf open Tranquil as a still pool, swayed slightly as well seemingly intoxicated by the song, His agile delicate fingers moiving on the slinder holes of the flute ever so rapidly, the song moving faster , as did the hearts of all who listened to his song as he played , all the creatures who could hear his song seemed Drawn by its sounds its very Vibration luled either to a so relaxed state osome, even falling out of trees alitle as the song mesmurized them, thus the power of the song of life, the song that is sung in everything natural

Jusiah , hand moving in complete unition ,moving from his lipps fliping it then fpliping iin on hand spinning it, the flute elongated its silvery gleam near translusent ,, and shimmer, the chain wraping around Glowing, pure, takes shap and the head of a cane in the shape of a orbs rounded gently where the hand would rest, its botton silver vines carved into the cane appearing to be winding up, the whole silodified into translusent silver cane the head inside the orb lies the very same symbol that was once on the flute, his fingers spinning itdelcate hands feminine, with longish oval nails , purifictly manicured, at the exact same time as the transformation On his wrist a thin chain braclet with the same symbol as the flute glowed his marked symbols tattoes all over hois body glowed faming a ember red befoe going back to black, all happening in between the beat of a heart , spinning out and hitting the intruder on the head right between the eyes,But the blow wasnt hard, just a "hey" kinda thing, wouldnt even leave a eal mark only a slighty red mark on the intruders head, that would only sting attle mostly, becouse josiah had speed and agaility , but physicaly he was weak, unable to put much force in physical blows, all as he stood spinning facing thdeintruder , pulling the cane back to his side , his long black silken hair falling almost to the middle of his back, tied back with a Soft silk red ribbon that was wrapped around two braids , long gounbg down his lithe back , the rest of his hai,m held back by the ribon flowing freely, to stand on the branch facing the intruder , his cane in hand at his side his head silts slightly

"who are you ? and gave a surprsed smile , his genderless face slightly oval, his almond gold eyes the irises slightly larger than that of a human and elongated , but not as that of a feline, his eyes painted black, lines goung out, artfully painted, , his genderless face , flawless pale face, his ears slightly pointed at the ends his lips smiling softly , alittle bit of black silk strands falling around his face softly, his white robes Painted as the same runes as his body, its cloak, as white as the robes painted the same, shifted slightly from the movment of the turn before setting still,

"Oh my sorry about the bump bu you realy shouldnt sneak up on ppl like that" Josiah exclaimed "you ight surpise them hun, if my playing bothers you im sorry i was merely listening to the forest and sometimes its beauty makes me Long for it, so i speak to it threw my music thanking it for its beauty"

Josiah Bowed slightly at the waist his fingers going to his fore head then heart then out to the intruser, in a formal greating ., never allowing his gold eyes away from the spot were the intruder was, his inoccent being, smiling

"as i had said before, i had not ment to, m not use to other creatures, only the beasts and the trees"he said gently alittle meekly

"but it is very fortunatle our meeting good sir, i am called Josiah"He said bowing formally once again his soft sexleess voice calm and gentle

he tapped his cane gently on the wood of the branch twice so quickly as to see one sound, "Hmmm though your company would be apreatiated "he siad with a smile " If it doesnt take you away from anything else you might need to be doing, or even going backt o sleep , i am very sorry for disturbing you"

Hwe held his finger out absent minded to the little spider on her web it crawled onto his long thin delicate finger as he staed into its many eyes then put it back on her web, scuttling away into the tree

Josiahs head tilted slightly to the side, his innocent eyes Looking at the creature, "No i do not know what you are but i do not wish to fight you, i have some dryied fish in my bag if you would like some of that though" Josiah giving the creature a soft smiles pulling out a strange bag , that seal with magic to keep his food fresh, and pulled ou several strips of Fish jerky Cured in sweet berry and Almond oil with Wine, "but i warn you it has been known to Intoxicat those who eat too much of it, or are not completely use to it" He says as he puts a small strip in his mouth chewing thoughtfully and laying a few strips on the barnch for the creature before backing away he spn his Cane of souls and it became nothing more than a pendant necklace matching the small thin braclet on his delicatewrist, he places it arond his neck and looked into the sky, his body canged, his white robes shifting odly becoming feathers over his body, in seconds he was a Small white owl each feather with a black symbol on it his beak small but sharp, painted as well, and he spread his wings and flew away far away very quickly to another part of the forest, away from the creature who just implayed eating him


That was josiah ,if you said you were hungry and were going to eat him, hed leave you some food and fly off as to not be eaten, he avoided battle he detested it,


Josiah landed in another part of the forest , and returned to his humaniod form , His gold eyes flashing Saphire in the change,

he pulling the Pendant around his neck and spun it, It became a cane once more as he sat and read a small blackened leather book, He waves a single hand in a circlar motion and hung a small orb of lighting in te air, it taking only alittle magic to summon becouse it was only one and so small, not enough to be bright and only JUST enough for him to read, as he read he hummed reading his little book his back hir falling down his back as he leaned aganst the trunk of the tree high up on a branch away from the ground

Josiah not even looking up from his book, places a hand on the bark of the silvery tree, wispering underho breath to the tree it self, suddenly from his fingertips a light pulsed , and entered the tree, then all of a sudden great silvery fines like the web of a spider made ofhard wood, the wood almost as hard as amandite,

The vines in an instat wraped around the creatures bodies, squeezing slightly preventing exacpe , Not even a spider demon, or even a Night Shadow could exape the binds of the vines,

the vines made of the exact stuff as the tree only harder , condencing, , Josiah stood, a graceful movment to behoold, and first bowing to the tree its self, "Thank you old freind, i shall leave an offering to you for your help" And the tree seemsd to respond its leavres shaking sligtly

Josiah smiled then turned to the creature, "I do not wish you ill, i simple want to know and make sure you do no wish me ill, but i would be more than glad to share my dinner with you"

Josiah with his fingertips carressed the bark of the vines tenderly , lovingly then nodded his head a slight movment hardly noticeable, the vines lossened around the creatures, alittle , not simpley creatng a cage of vines for them no harm to there bodies at all

"Please relax, i mean you no harm, i am only curious about you, and i would rather not be lunch today, so just incase you are creatures thatwould wish me harm , i have Ask the tree to hold you so that i may speak with you"

Josiah white robes were shiing alittle inthe moonlight , he looked beautiful,
He was sexless, having no genitalia at all,


Josiah crouched llokng at the creatures wiyth his golden eyes that seemed to swirl as he watched them, pacient as ever he waited for them to respond, his soothing sexless voice calm , as a breeze blew , lifting his soft black hair in the breese he seemed to closes his eyes listening to it, feeling it carress his skin and a small soft gentle smile came to his face before turning back to the creatures, watching them ad listening to anything they might say
