She nodded slightly, glancing to stare at Jedrek for a moment. It only made her slightly guilty to leave him. It was small enough of an emotion that she was able to push it away and smiled back to Equis. "I somewhat doubt that I would find something enjoyable in this place... But, if you insist, I'll let you try." She grinned up at him then stood, letting her fur brush against his side as she went. Her tail flicked up to brush under his chin as well teasingly before hopping over a puddle, then trotting back further into the swamp.

Jedrek turned his head to the side as they started to walk away, eyes shifting to stare blankly. it seemed they had changed there minds about leaving.
watching them for a moment longer, to confirm there choice, he noticed the Large Coffee glance back at him as well, a smirk set on his face.
Jedrek just blinked, slurping casually, then got to his feet, and continued out, to meet up with Jayce.
Equis chuckled "well theres no harm in trying at least."
flicking his tail behind him. careful not to hit her, he stood as tall as he could, fur on his chest puffing out impressively.
"well then. if you don't have any requests. I'll show you to something I found recently. and so far I'm quite fond of."

"Yes... No harm. I know I'll be safe with a big boy like you." She glanced over her shoulder at him, smiling. Her chin had to tilt up.. having to look up to see his face. "What is it..? Is it pretty?"
Ha, stupid question... Nothing here was pretty. Though perhaps it'd at least be amusing... But so far the only good thing about the swamp were it's inhabitants. She seemed to get along so much better with them.

"well I think it is" he told her, striding on at a comfortable pace, though slow enough to allow her to keep up. "had one back in the part i lived. so i was pleased to find one here."
he paused, and started leading her though the swamp, trying to avid the more messy parts as to not sully her paws anymore. it seemed wrong to.
finally he stopped and smirked "here we are"
it was definitely part of the Swamp, the gound was as moist and soggy as ever. but it didn't look as filthy as most of it.
the air seemed to hiss as carbonation bubbled from the deep bog before them . a pool of yellowish liquid fizzing in the clearing. every now and then there would be a rush of hissing, and a powerful spout of the liquids would shoot up into the air. and sprinkle back down.

Calypso nodded and followed Equis, snaking around the mud and puddle, grateful that he seemed to be avoiding them.
When they finally came to the place he had mentioned, she took a long time staring at it before reacting. It was.... disgusting to her. But, as many things such as this, the uniqueness of it intrigued her. She'd never seen anything like it before. Her muzzle wrinkled a bit as she blinked down at the liquid, too afraid to lean down and sniff it. She didn't want it on her anyway...
Then there was a large blast, sending the liquid up in the air. She blinked up at the fountain, head tilting as it bubbled and sprinkled down. Well at least that was kind of pretty...
After a few minutes of observation, she glanced up at Equis. "Well, it certainly is interesting at least... Better than the rest of the swamp...."

"this one is not as good as the one back home" he admitted. walking forward and stepping into the fizzing lake.
almost instantly the patters on his fur began to glow brighter. even his somewhat transparent horns began to glow.
"not sure if you have anything like it at your land."
he lifted a claw out, cupping the liquid in his palm. "its Energy in liquid form"
he grinned, looking away from his claw and towards her.

Her eyes widdened slightly as he glowed brighter. She glanced to the yellowish bog, wondering if the liquid was some how magical... She looked rather impressed now..
"Liquid... energy? How is that possible?" She stepped forward cautiously and sniffed at the drink that he had cupped in his hand. "Is it good?"

he laughed "its enough to satisfy many Coffee, so I would say its got allot of energy" he let it slowly drop from his claws. then lowered her head, and began to drink from it
"I prefer it over most elce in the Swamp. give it a try."

"Does it taste like coffee...? Cause.. I hate coffee." She frowned suspiciously at the water, watching him drink. When he drank safely, and nothing happened, she stepped forward again slowly, lowering her head beside him to sniff at the liquid again. It didn't smell like coffee... it smelled... odd, but almost similar to the soda rivers in Candy Land. It had a bad color, but smelt ok... She let her tongue flick down to cup and swallow a small mouthfull of it.
She tensed and paused for a moment... The taste was defenitly odd, but not really bad.. She didn't understand what he meant about it being.. energy. But maybe it was just for coffees... She flicked her tongue into it again and continued to drink. "Not bad.."

he watched her carefully, waiting for what she thought of the energy drink. pleased that she didn't dislike it. though a little disappointed she didn't seem to like it as much as he did.
walking out further into the pool, sinking lower and lower. till he was having to swim to keep his head above water.
"are there places like this in you're land?"

"There's... some things. Not as.. bubbily as this. It's grape soda.. A bit sweeter." She frowned slightly as she watched him swim through the liquid. It looked so... disgusting. Surely he'd be sticky and gross afterwards... But it was kind of amusing to see him splash around. The fish that had been swimming around her wings timidly went to the water to splash around. Perhaps if they were willing to get in, it wa-
BAM. Her eyes widdened slightly as a tingiling sensation suddenly hit her in the back of the head, slowly rising until she felt like her head was vibrating quickly. Her ears twitched, claws stretched out as she stared down at the liquid. Energy... She felt like she could never sleep, run a marathon, do anything! A slow smirk crossed her and she bent down to drink more, legs shaking with the fresh power pumping through her.
"This... this stuff... is amazing...!" She managed to mumble between gulps.

he blinked at her, wondering why she sudenly became so adamant about the stuff. he cocked an eyebrow, and swam towards her. in the shallower energy drink, he paused in front of her.
"yeah it is... um... everything alright?"

Her ears continued to twitch every few seconds, her tail swishing back and forth wildly. She looked up at him, the drink dripping from her mouth before she looked away. "I'm great!" She grinned wider, stepping closer to him, letting her paws dip into the bog. "W-what... what is this feeling..? It feels likle my heart is pumping faster. I feel more awake than I ever have been..." She leaned close to him, eyes wide and curious. The liquid seemed to ave the same effect on her eyes than they did him, they glowed twice as bright, making the fur and scales on her face seem more purplish than their usual deep red. "Is this what you meant by... energy...??"

his ears flattened back slightly, mouth opening slightly at her
"well... yes"
how odd, Coffee didn't act like that when they drank from the liquid energy, then again.. she was a Candy. perhaps there food source was not as strong as the Coffee's, she did say it was more sweet.
"must be... you're first intake of real Caffine... isn't it?" he asked with a chuckle. stepping back playfully as she stepped in. trying to lure her farther in

She nodded quickly, grinning lop-sidedly at him. The tingling continued, making her brain overload with emotions and senses. She wanted to jump in and swim, to play. But what? Her fur would get messed up.... But it seemed so much fun! But no... no.. must... look.. good.. must.. play.. wait.. must... not.. must...
SPLASH. It seemed her inner child, freed by this glorious liquid, had provailed. Into the bog she lept, jumping to land beside Equis in the liquid. Though of course she sank deeper, with being smaller. Letting herself float, her head popped out of the liquid, fur slick and sticking against her body, making her look slimmer. She smirked over at him. "Are you a good swimmer?"
Meanwhile, her three fish were staring bewildered from the shore. Their mistress was... doing this?? They squeeked and conversed together for a moment, before swiming over the energy bog to follow her.
