"Okay. Goblin Kings... glowing eggs... It's all too confusing for me..." Lex replied shaking his head and trying to keep up with this obscure information. "I really don't understand all this...." He muttered dropping all his gear again. He didn't want to hold it all night anyway. Not to mention none of the bundle actually belonged to him, so he didn't want it longer than he needed it.

Sky shrugged.
"I can't explain everything in one night..."
She ran her hands over her arms, feeling a small chill. Her choice of wearing the dress she was wearing.

"... my DREAMS are more real than this... aiie." She looked at Lex and smiled widely, suddenly back to her usual mood of obnoxious. Lani approached him and draped am arm over his shoulder, tucking the orb in her purse again.
"'Ey let's not confuse the poor chico no more, yah? Looks like we're all havin' a sleepover, ey? Good I could use some amigos, just moved here after all." She pulled her arm away after patting the poor guy on the back, and walked ahead a few steps before looking back, jerking her head toward the building to exit as she said, "Vamos, amigos. No need to stick around this place no more, yah? We're bored, I'm tired of being in this crazy gown. Sooo....." Body movements urged them to follow, maybe even take the lead since she has no idea where to go!

Sky grinned. One guest would have done....two was a challenge and one she welcomed greatly.
"Aye I suppose we should stop confusing Lex..." Her eyes widdened then as it dawned on her..."Oye... Forgive me. I'm Skyling."
How could she forget? New friends always started with names! Not explinations of orbs...

"This is just strange... correction, she is strange..." lex said watching the woman walk on ahead. He noticed Sky running her hands over her arms and offer her his jacket. It wasn't his, sure, but his friend had dis-owned it so it didn't matter what happened to it.
"Lets get out of the cold, shall we?" He asked nodding towards the building. "Before hyper over there starts dragging us..."

"Hola Skyling," she shout over her shoulder, waiting for them to move along with her. She elbowed Lex playfully and laughed, "Ey, I'm not hyper, chico, I'm just fun. Admit it, mi amigo! Hang around little Lani more and you'll never have a dull moment, oh-kay?"
Before they exited the building entirely, she'd made sure to grab another glass of red wine off a butler's tray. When outside, she removed her mask, her pretty face fully visible to the world! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and SHE felt she was a beautiful woman! Removing her mask, also revealed all her piercings!
On their way to wherever, Lani brought up conversation. "So, what do you both do for livings? I work at a Cafe an' play guitar, and sing a li'yl, too. I get paid extra for my jigs at the Cafe," she beamed.

She smiled her thanks and took the offered jacket, putting it on to gain the offered warmth. She started to follow Lani, thinking of what she did for a living. Another explination she didn't want so she gave the basics.
"I own a company..." That was it...or so she was going to reveal here in a fairly public area.

"A living... Ah... I don't actually do anything... I don't usually stay in the one place long enough to get a job. Perhaps if I settle here I'll get one... But until then I'm flat broke. Most of my money goes towards gas." Lex said a little uncomfortable about being the only person there who didn't have anything to do.

She asked it, her voice light as she teased. Yet sometimes, she wished she could just pass her job off to someone else and let them run the show.

Long Ebony hair up in a ponytail and his last cocktail clutched carelessly in his hand. Chai looked around with a rather perplexed and amused look, the ball had been about as entertaining as trapping one's hand deliberately in a mousetrap and the hostess had disappeared. The party had been in uproar for a little while before it was decided it was best to continue the affair accordingly.
The Underground Creature Specialist was currently in the gardens near the main building, perched on a sort of wall and watching the three rather loud people also in the garden, just below his perch. He looked out of sorts, a black suit with purple lining on the sleeves, pockets and trousers. He chose to wear black skull jewellry tonight, his slightly pointed ears holding a dangling set of skull shaped earings in the bottom piercing, the rest had black round peircings in. He wore a monocle in place of his glasses and held no mask, though it was a masquerade party. His job here was to study the owner of the orb that chose her.
"well she seems interesting enough...if not a tad bland..." he murmured to himself with a grin, one leg crossed gracefully over the other as he sat on the marble wall still, his gold tinted eyes trained on the hostess of the evening.

Sky felt wonderful being out of millions views with how she portrayed herself. Out here, she could be a little bit more herself, revealing little by little of who she was and what she was like.
The cool breeze that had sent shivers of cold down her spine, came again, only with the sense of being watched. Paranoia twisted about in her mind like a moving serpent but she blatantly moved and spoke as though she weren't aware of someone watching.
She was aware of her bloodlines. Looking around her, she was well cared for, even though she missed Alex's company. These two people, Lex and Lani, she was growing fond of. They were different from the upper class and she liked it.
So there is more then just Jareth who watches over the orb owners... She thought quietly in her mind.

Chai stretched his arms above his head, his face relaxing for a moment before he went back to watching Sky. He found her amusing--to some extent-- though he still liked Sho more. Chai was a bit of a spazz 99.9% of the time, but Sho didn't mind and he liked him. Made him laugh he said. Chai grinned happily and let his thoughts twist about inside his head.
"back to work.." he suddenly said to himself, snapping from his memories to lazily turn his gaze down to Sky again. He shrugged and let himself drop from the wall, landing gracefully on the ground some two metres below. On a stone platform a few feet away from his main reason for being here. The wind tousled his tied back hair and the black stone of his jewellry glinted in the moonlight.

Silvery eyes that rivaled the very moon's light shot up to meet with his as Sky now found herself staring at Chai. Curiousty as well as fire shimmered in her eyes.
She stayed put though, her hand simply holding the jacket together around her shoulders. She was going to be very glad to get out of her attire when she could.
"Good evening, sire. What brings you here?"
Sweet talk and lest she confused Lex and Lani more, she refrained from speaking of anything faeish...

Chai grinned as their eyes met, oh he had been found out. It wasn't often people reverted back to his Elf lineage, he was only half mind you. His mother had been human.
He took a few brisk steps forward, looking very much like he belonged in some rather halloweenish story, with his attire decked with cartoon and real looking skull jewellery.
"well, that.....thing in there has ended and I very much fancied a stroll" he answered politely, a pleasant smile donning his pale features.

Sky refrained from making small movements. Last time she supposedly went head over heels for a pretty face....well another thought to complete in private.
So fae and fae meet again. A smaller more hidden of meaning smile graced her lips as she tilted her head.
"It is a nice evening to have a stroll..."
