When you give up on spanish and instead of working on stuff for spanish class you work on japanese and as japanese seaps in more and more spanish that you sware you knew seaps out. (i did do that. . . i will not lie. . . umm... And i was in Spanish level 3. i refuse to even attempt at the language ever again though. It sounds nice but i don't want to speak it lol)
This describes my situation perfectly.
sweatdrop Now I accidentally write Japanese on my Spanish papers occasionally.
crying Only bit of Spanish I remember is pan, which is bread... since it's the same thing in Japanese
xd Hm... I do / have done all of these:
-When you bring back a thread about studying Japanese too much that's been dead for the past 3 months
-When you're reading a book out loud in English class and you say "for goodness 酒" instead of "for goodness sake"
-When you write notes to yourself in Japanese so that other people won't find out your intentions
-When you start to watch anime for educational purposes
-When you start to play Japanese versions of online games because you know enough Japanese to sign up and download it
-When you start swearing in Japanese to avoid being yelled at
-When your anime-addicted friend is telling you about an episode of anime and it goes something like this:
Friend: "So then Yamashita was like..."
You: "Yamashita? That's a weird name. It means 'under a mountain.'"
Friend: "You just killed the conversation."
-When you start talking in engrish on accident. I've accidentally told someone not to sit down, but to... well, imagine saying "sit down" with a Japanese accent, lol.
-You start using Japanese emoticons because they're so much better. ( ̄へ ̄)
