WitchyBoy once i was doing a little ritual and i was getting all dramatic and stuff and ended up tripping face first into the tree i was circling. Ouch... I almost set fire to my altar once... Needless to say, I had to stop, clean up, and start over again...

Sometimes I find myself stopping in the middle of a chant, because my candles will start burning higher, and flickering wildly... I've been paranoid since, lol. sweatdrop

You haven't had a single peaceful ritual? sweatdrop Ouch...That really sucks. I'm sure it'll happen soon. You shoudl turn off your cell or something. As for people coming by, try to schedule the timing of your rituals; if you have a set time, just tell your friends you have something important to do in that particular hour or so, so you need absolute quiet. And imps? I haven't had that problem, fortunately... sweatdrop Maybe try banishing them? Witchyboy: Fry your light switch? As in your electronics go all hay-wire, or as in your candles sit too close to them?

The imps in my house sometimes help out, but they're just pranksters. They care alot for my mom and me, which is why before any of my family come over, I'm going to have to group them all together and set some ground rules. There's been one entity that's stayed with us since I was a kid. I call him the sock monster. He moves with us and goes from dyer to dryer. I'm totally serious when I say that we have put matched socks in our dyers and one or both will disapear. I knew about him when I was a kid, because my mom would always make jokes about it because my sister and I kept talking about him.

lol, oh imps, they are funny. We have a few at my house, they'll knock things over or turn on/off the tv and lights. Also sometimes to piss me off they'll blow out my candles during a ritual (I would blame it on my fan but I turn it off when I'm lighting things). They are pranksters, but they haven't done anything really bad.

WitchyBoy as in if i touch them the shock me... burning_eyes Ow... Ever touched an exposed wire? (Not from a light switch; I think I'd die). Meako: I've never had imps...though something roared at me about a week ago. I nearly hit the ceiling... I was making tea at the time, too. I'm still not sure what it was, but I know what it wasn't. It wasn't my dog. She was asleep. It wasn't the kettle, nor the t.v. That bugs me...I wonder what it was? I bet it had a good laugh at my expense...

I once stuck a bunch of paperclips into a socket. I was trying to hook up the phone.
Hm, it wasn't an imp. They have high pitched voices or croaky ones. Maybe a poltrgeist, they like scaring people.

Must have been very random. eek Normally, I pick up on spirits long before they ever show themselves (i.e. physically, or by throwing something, running water, or moving something). This one really caught me off guard. My fiance didn't even hear it, and he was sitting on the couch (which is not that far from my open-concept kitchen...in fact, it takes all of ten steps, tops). I'd say maybe I'm losing my mind, but I know my ears didn't deceive me. So weird.

I also sometimes hear my name everywhere.

I also sometimes hear my name everywhere. You too? eek I can't count how many times I thought I could hear someone calling my name. It always sounds so far away... I've woken up from it before. Oh, and once, just before I went with my mom to pick my fiance up from work, he swore he heard me calling his name (this was about rwo minutes before I even walked into the store). He even told his co-worker. When he saw me, his eyes bulged out! He asked me if I called his name, and I said no, I had just gotten there... But, I had felt an urgency, and I had been thinking his name, over and over "Don't leave work yet, Charlie..." or "We're coming to get you...oh please, don't have gotten on the bus yet, Charlie!" I still don't know if it was just his imagination, but I'd say it's too much of a coincidence, or not one at all, given my distressing need to make sure we got to his work before he took the bus (we were picking him up as a surprise).
