"We can be different in many ways," he nodded without looking at her, "What would you prefer? One like yourself on the outside?" Turning around, he heard her talk about the flower. He walked towards the stem and looked down at it. "I'm sure it will grow another one here," smilingback at her, "and if not, then maybe your future mate will find you one some place on this land. Then bring you to it." Letting his head drop a bit, "I...I think I'll go now." Not sounding as much happy for no reason. Sighing, he started for the path that lead his way to his home. Although walking in a slow pace, in case she had anything to say.

Rolling over and quickly getting to her feet Peony pranced where she was, not sure whether she should chase after Dinyin or just let things take their path. "But...but, I never said that" Prancing foward towards following Dinyin, stopping the mare let tears brim in her eyes.
" Dinyin!" She cried softly, turning back to head towards the riverbed and lay with the flower that so allured her. Hopefully it would take her mind off of things.

Dinyin waited until she couldn't see him, he follwed her back. Wondering what he should do. "She probably doesn't want me," he whispered to himself as he spied on her from behind a huge tree. Maybe she was better off with another stallion...where were all these random thoughts coming from? He waited, maybe she'll say something, maybe she'll see him. Or Maybe she'll just forget about him in a second.
What was this night? Was it good or bad? It has been long yet joyful at the same time. He watched and waited for anything to come from her. He just wanted to know clearly, if she did want him or not. Yea sure he would give time, but stuff she said got him confused.

Turning to look at Dinyin one last time, the mare let the tears stream down her cheeks. Turning she took off in a full run, all that mattered was getting back where she knew her flower was. Atleast her flower couldn't misunderstand her or make her feel horribly stupid about the things she said. She could chase the flower away. Hooves thundering againist the ground, Peony dodged the trees around her trying to get back to the flower.

Should he go after her now? Was it the right thing to do? But...he never ran before!! I'll do it for her. Taking deep breathes, he shook out his legs and snorted. 3...2...1... He lifted his left foot and brought it futher from his right, he was actually going to run! Then the right did the same but slightly further than the left, the backs legs did the same, and off he went. His ears twitched, he could hear her. The beat of her hooves.
Faster, faster! His heart raced harder and he wouldn't stop until he reached her. This was for her. Even if he reaches her, what will he do? Thinking about it, maybe he should just leave it and let her go off with another. He felt bad. He stopped in his tracks. Turned around and didn't look the way she ran. Shes better off without me. Dinyin starts his way home with one tear rolling down his cheek.

Misjudging the distants she hand to go to reach the flower, Peony skid to a stop. But she didn't make the stop in time, skidding to stop herself the mare tumbled slightly falling over to avoid crashing into flower. Sighing softly, Peony got back up nudging her flower back into its normal place as she rolled onto over next to the flower. Leaning her head down, she gently sniffed the flower. Tears still running down her cheeks, she leaned her head foward resting it againist the ground.

"You're better off without me," he whispered to a pink glowing flower nearby. He had stopped because he hoped maybe the spirits could deliver the message to her. He hoped they did. "We're still friends right?" he asked with a smile on his face towards the flower, "It was nice meeting ya'" Dinyin looked back from where he came from and smiled, then looked towards the dark and continued on, hoping a deserving male will come for her, and take better care of her than he, himself had done.
