"It's 'chu!" Shukaku shouted with a delighted grin as he bounded towards Shiranui, pouncing onto her and tumbling into the sand, then giving her a fond lick on the cheek. "I'm here finally!"
Krysten gave a smile as her dad went over to give his 'greeting' to her mother, tail twitching a little as she walked over to a nearby slab of rock, laying down on her back with a small yawn. It was actually the first time she was able to get out and have some alone time without Johnny and the others, no worries or anything!..... Well, technically not the alone part of the deal, but still!
Yuna cocked her head to the side as Shukaku 'attacked' Shiranui, giving a shrug as she walked along the beach, looking around for Pyre. "He's always going off and getting into trouble..." She said quietly to herself, a small grin appearing on her face as she walked along the shore.

Rae listened intently to Rina as she spoke. "So long as you are happy, I do not suppose it matters." She thought for a moment. "I don't know, it seems like you would fit into the Syndicate. You have the eloquence needed to truly be of the Syndicate, from what I gather of them, at least. But, to each his own, no?"

"Eloquence alone is not enough. The spirit of creativity is needed, also, and that I lack. I may be able to appreciate art, but I also know that no thing I say is art as they know it. They are masters of art, and I cannot create one single thing."
Rina was pleased to hear that Rae thought she had the eloquence of the Sanguine Syndicate. That group was interesting to Rina, but she was not quite sure she could live that sort of life. She had spent all of her days wandering about in nature, and then to move into the Metropolis, the center of human gatherings? She was not sure that she could adapt. She was not sure that she wanted to adapt to such a place as that.

Rae laughed ligtly. "Perhaps you have not found your muse yet," she said good-naturedly. Rae mentally ran over what she knew about the tribes. "The Syndicate lives in a city, if I remember correctly? And I thought Kousestu ways of life were tough, at least there aren't any humans aorund."

"Perhaps." Rina doubted that there was any form of art that she had not tried and failed, but she would not go so far as to say nothing was left. Perhaps there was some other art form that she did not know of, that she had not yet attempted.
"Yes, I am not sure if city life would be agreeable or not. I have yet to see this Metropolis, so perhaps it is not so bad. Although I do not have any burning desire to leave my life as it is. I am content wandering through nature alone."
((Oooh, maybe I could make her a dancer? Now I need to decide if I like the idea of a loner Rina more, or if sticking her in the Syndicate would be better...))

((She does make a good loner, but I don't know.))
Rae was repulsed by the idea, she couldn't imagine living around the humans. She had met very few decent ones in her lifetime, and doubted they would all be kind and happy in this Metropolis. "Perhaps. I suppose I should not judge." Her thoughts wandered to distant places for a moment, and she shook her head to clear them.

((Jeebus, when has Rae been so formal in her speech?)) Pyre caught Yuna's scent, and got out from behind Danzo. "YUNA!" Pyre yelled, bounding up to her and pouncing on her. "How have you been hun?"

Chaus nuzzled Loki and her tail wagged happily. "I missed you too!" She got out. As that peppy reunion was going on, Hikari walked shyly to Jin and said, "How did you know....? Panda-chan gave Pyre a cold stare and the fur on the back of his neck rose as Kure tried unsucessfully to calm him. "That I do not...." He said coldly. Shiranui growled playfully and returned the gesture, "'Bout time 'Kaku, eh?" she said, adpoting a silly accent. While the mass hysteria was growing, two new kits wandered on the scene, seeming to be attatched at the hip. Where one strayed, the other would follow, discovering new things and having funsies. As they came upon the group of foxes, they spotted one kit and ran up to meet her. "Hi, I'm Tsune!" The fox-like one piqued. "I'm Tanuki...." The other added. The white and red kit nodded, then decided it would be proper to offer her name as well. "I'm Amaterasu....Or Ammy.....

Loki looked around. "There's more of you now? No ownder I haven't seen you...."
Jin laughed. "I'm female, therefore I always know!" She msiled softly and nuzzled his cheek.

"I suppose there is no way to tell, until I see the Metropolis for myself."
Rina was not sure which she wished for: to discover the tribe that she belonged to, and to finally settle down, with others of her own kind, or to realize that although she had the formality of those of the Syndicate, and appreciated their art, she was not one of them, and so could thus continue her life of solitary wandering.
((I kind of like the idea of having a loner...She's not screaming out to me 'I'm an artist!' or anything.))

Rae looked at Rina in concern. "You seem like you feel...pressure, to join a tribe? Tribe life is not meant for all, Rina. Do not forget that in your decision. Perhaps some are better off on their own, with their own way of doing things."

"If I feel pressure, it is only for myself. From what I have heard of tribe life, it does sound pleasant. But perhaps it is not to be for me. I cannot say for certain yet, until I investigate the Sanguine Syndicate more thoroughly. And even then, my continued solitude is not certain. Perhaps the tribe that I shall join has not even been created yet, and I must simply content myself to await its formation."
Pressure from others to join a tribe? Where would she be then, if she bowed to the pressures of others for something that was her decision, and hers alone? She could not let others rule such a large part of her life as this! If she allowed others to force herself into something she did not wish, why then...Then she would be little more than a puppet, controlled by the whims of others!
No, she was curious as to whether she might find a home with the Syndicate, but she would not be disappointed if life in the Metropolis was not to her liking.

Rae shrugged one shoulder and nodded. "I'm afrad patience is not a prominent virtue for me." She looked around. "Come, let's take a walk. We look rather foolish istanding in the middle of other groups, and perhaps it will give us something to do."

"How can you survive without patience?" Rina asked, curious. While brother was not as patient as she was, he was far from hasty and rash. Rina could not see how people like that could survive in the world, or survive with their decisions made in the heat of the moment. Were not most choices made in that manner regretted later? It seemed to her to be that way, at least.
"Does it matter how we look? If they are bothered by us standing in the middle of them, then it is they who ought to leave." But Rina still followed Rae. Perhaps she would find other interesting things on this beach, besides brother and her niece.
