it's a good song but it's really not linkin park, it's the kinda song i might expect from MCR >< i really hate the fact that they changed their style of music, i really like the metal generation and there are people who don't like what's "in" and they should understand that, i hate that they've changed it, they really need to do something like the hybrid theory/reanimation thing, cuz the remix was AWESOME!!!

Love the new song and video. It's a new style and it works. They're such a diverse group and that's what i love about them. The video is so awesome! I can't wait till their new album comes out cause im going to buy it the first day and listen to it over and over again. Hope they play some of their new songs at the Bamboozal Festival. Get a little preview!HEHE

Chester didn't scream, Mike didn't rap, and the music was too soft...quietly like! I miss the old stuff! sad and I DID cry! *crybaby* D:

it's a bit disapointing that they've changed. However, they are still my favorite band, and i won't stop listening, and i'm gonna buy the new album, and chester is still very hot. Especially in the what i've done video.

I told my boyfriend that Linkin Park changed their style a bit and he said, "What? Nooo! They can't!"
**shrugs** Linkin Park was one of the reasons why we got together..
We both love Linkin Park. [x
Even though they changed their style, I still wear my Linkin Park shirt with pride. 3nodding

Personally, I heart the song! I spent about 2 hours just listening to it over and over again. I think the lyrics are a little meh, but the overall combination with the music really heightens the old LP sound.
If you're just angry at it because it's more main stream, remember that it has to survive on its own in the main stream for a month and a half before the album can back it up, it needs to survive on its own.
For those of you hate it, get some head phones and listen to it really loud, if you listen to the layers together, it is pure LP. Don't diss that.
And as for the video, love the concept, but hate the shots of the guys. The shots and overall image of them are just... weird

I personally loved the song. I do miss Mike's vocals and the screaming, though.

you know what??? the song is good...but without all the good rap and screams...i can't bring myself to listen to it anymore...it's not "catching"...i never thought it would come to this crying

it's not that bad. Yeah it's different from they've done in the past but hey, it's something they wanted to throw out (at least i think so). Songs like My December and other like it where awesome due to lyrics, the beat, and vocals. But "What I've Done" is more of a song that i'll listent to once a month cuz it doesn't attract me attention like the others. The only thing I like about it is the video. And honestly, this can be a song that everyone will listen to and i mean everyone. To me that says that i'll soon be hearing my brother listening to it which Linkin Park is totally the opposite of the crappy music he listens to. My hope is that the album will more like Qwerty than What I've Done cuz than i'll be really intune. If not, no worries cuz i'll support them, to come out with something louder and better.
