Now... if I haven't made an interpretation of Chop Suey! before, here it is now:
After listening to the song many a-time and I have gained much more knowledge, I think "Wake up..." means another day beginning, another day where you have to put on some "make up" that can, I guess, sugar-coat the problems (scars) and you try to make people forget that it's there. I guess leaving the "keys up on the table" is like leaving something as important as car keys or the house key on a place that is easy to access and to steal. Perhaps this is a bad habit that you create fables about to make yourself feel better.
This sounds like something familiar... Is this a subtle sequel to P.L.U.C.K.? You know... The Turkish Government hiding the scars... The create fables to make themselves feel better and to seem like a better country? Making themselves victims of their own crime?
Also, the eight times repeated word "Father!" part, along with the "Father into your hands, I commend my spirit / Father into your hands, why have you forsaken me? / In your thoughts..." etc. part is from a poem, like what Glydee says, by Father Armeni when he, also what Homie G says, thought it was the end of all Armenians.
The end, meaning, the Genocide.
But System of a Down hasn't made a song about the Armenian Genocide on every album, please remember people.

GlydeEvo FOR CHRIST'S SAKE, HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IT!!!! Chop Suey has nothing to do with Jesus, or god forbid, wife beating. It is officially stated by System of a Down that Chop Suey is about the Armenian Genocide. Wake up, grab a brush and put a little makeup, hide the scars and fade away the shakeup/ refers to Turkish govt. denying ever participating in the Armenian Genocide when actually Turkey was the country enforcing it in the first place. why'd you leave the keys up on the table? here you go, create another fable/ keys refering to proof for Armenian officials to take that Turkey carelessly lets get through, and them having to create more and more "fables" to cover the others up. I don't think you trust in my self righeous suicide, I cry when angels deserve to die/ self righeous suicide refering to the Armenian resistance fighting a suicidal attempt self righeously to save their people, and some people during the experience refered to the resistance as "angels", thus angels deserve to die in the eyes of the turkish. I've always heard that Aerials has to do with some religion, the river being a vital part of the religion in that everyone is a drop of water in the river of life and the waterfall being death... or something like that... Bounce sounds like a big orgy xp that's all I've got... I couldn't have said that better myself, but how did anyone get an orgy out of Bounce?

when you let go you turn to just beliving not only god but just faith itslef
so spontainious just feel beliving in something with all your heart is differnt then trying to solve everything with science
