I taught you need all the 108 stars BEFORE doing the matilda fight. When Leeknat come and unlock the final spell for the Bright Shield rune.

I don't think giving Nanami stronger armor makes a difference. You just have to make sure that you get all the stars before entering L'renouille castle, and that you choose the second choice in the text box that pops up. It'll only show up for a fraction of a second, so you have to be quick. You'll know you succeeded if Shu calls Dr. Huan out to have a word with him.
Well... if I remembered correctly, that is... sweatdrop

Quote: also she has to have high defense give her a really good armor I don't think you need to give her good armour either- just before they reach that spot where that scene will take place, I usually unequip all of her good stuff (Thunder God Garb and what else that she usually has then, as you simply HAVE to use her throughout the entire game, thus you can't be going through the entire game with horrible equipment unless you want her to die in each battle) and give her normal, nominal equipment. You don't really have to strip her or anything- just give her the Guard Robe and it'll still be fine. I've gotten that glitch in which I have completed everything, but Nanami still dies in the end- something that I don't understand. I did everything that was required- got the Forgiver Sign, tapped "Nanami!" and stuff, but she still turned up dead. However, considering the fact that that happened only once in about....10 games I've played, I'm willing to bet that that's just a glitch. Some way or the other.

Well... if I remembered correctly, that is... sweatdrop You did remember correctly.you also need nanami to be in level 51+ and at least a lvl 15 weapon, plus all the 108 stars before the matilda incident... it doesn't really matter which choice you pick in the dialogue box though.

I never had a Lv 15 weapon for Nanami and she never die... All I do was having all the character befor the matilda fight and choose one of the 2 choise . I dont think it change somthings as long you have time to choose something then Call her Nanami after she is shoot.

Did anyone notice how Jowy/Joei's rune changes name through out the game? Black Blade/Dark Blade? And Riou Bright Shield/Shining Shield?
Or did someone already brought this up?
And lastly, how many of you actually did 108 battles at youth camp?
