Rish's eyes flashed backward, Calm down, you do not have to follow me but if you expect answers from Mithras then you'll need to follow. His words where gentle nd not demanding, he knew very well he was out numbered as he headed toward the Dark Ember Moutains, marked somewhere in their heights by Le'Ai. The secret sanctuary where Mithras had once taken Cerast, Pip, and Rish before the battle had broken out.
Pip snarled angrily as she felt the stong emotion comeing from the others. Cerast shuddered, her eyes and head moving toward Elijah, "Elijah! Calm down, Mithras can take care of it. Please, we must get to Le'Ai." she yelled over a large howl of wind.
Mithras yelled, deep angry burning within her very soul as she stared at the man before her, "You! How dare you show your face."
A slim smirk moved acorss his elegant lips. His face was smooth and unmarked by any time an angelic laugh came from his mouth, "It has been too long Elena."
"Don't you dare use that name, the day you attacked them was the day I killed that name. I should have hunted you down then, but I was soft." she snarled, her clear eyes narrowed with hatred.
"Soft..." he smiled, disappearing in a poof of darkness, reappearing behind Mithras. He stroked his hand gently along her face before she could tare herself away and turn to face him. His golden eyes narrowed and an evil smirk crept across his face, "You still are." his soft voice had vanished into one of pure venom as his blood red hair shimmered in the glow of a spell as his hands came upward and he stepped toward Mithras.

I know very well what is expected of me. Adrian thought without ire, he too did not mean to sound rude, but he was a wolf, it was expected of him. He laughed slightly as a smile tipped his eyes, we'll follow you, but you might want to run faster, our numbers are complaining. He laughed again, hoping that the demon would see his intentions of trying to make a joke.
Elijah narrowed her eyes as she stared into the abyss. She stood on the saddle, Aedreath knew her intentions. She heard Cerast over the wind, but chose not to look at her. "We're fine." She said quietly but knew that somehow, Cerast and Pip would hear them. She was fine, she was not to be underestimated, she and Aedreath would hold back...for now. As she stood, she felt the wind's force against her body, it whipped her hair back fiercely, but she stood firm. Elijah clenched her fist as her jaw clenched down as well. It happened. She lifted her sleeve back as the markings on her right arm began to glow. Aedreath. She thought slowly. Elijah, sit down. He thought to her calmly. She did as she was ordered. Aedreath. She thought in anguish. Its him, Aedreath. She looked back to her arm as it faded back to her regular color, she pulled the sleeve back down. Why can't we fight him? Why can't we destroy him? She closed her eyes as she let the wind carry her hair, a tear fell from her eyes. Elijah. She heard, his face flashed before her eyes, except....he was older....Kai! She thought suddenly. Elijah! Aedreath demanded, Elijah opened her eyes, Pip and Cerast were still flying next to them. She looked away. She hadn't blocked her mind from the other dragon and rider, much less she needed to.
Elijah looked down at her hands as she heard Aedreath roar again, not as loud, it was....mournful...a ruined city flashed through her mind...she closed her eyes and tried to push the thoughts away.

Rish grinned very slightly, Are they now? his eyes narrowed very slightly though as he felt another demonic presence flare it's power unnessicarily. He scowled but kept moving, speeding up as much as his tired body would allow. But as he did so his own demonic power surged slightly and he felt the extreme pain of that stronger power grasping his own and tearing it away. He attempted to stay consious but his feet had stopped and his mind was nor longer his own as he watched his body fall to the ground.
Cerast watched Elijah and couldn't help but feel a bit more relaxed as she sat down, she glanced downward making sure they where headed in the right direction. At that very moment she felt as Rish's consiousness, one she always felt for and watched, her own body went limp. Something was extremely wrong.
Marcus smirked as he sapped the young demon's power, "Seems your friends are soft as well." he said, his eyes narrowing further. "Come now Elena, you know well why I am following you...And it's not for the demon, or yourself."
Mithras glared at him, "Don't you dare touch Rish."
"To bad, he's gone now...Until I am atleast." he said, still smirking eyes narrowed.
Mithras' eyes became slightly wet, still narrowed as she wishpered something in the ancient tongue and her own hands began to glow, a faint gold before becoming brighter. "We end this now." She tried not to let her voice shake, but it did as she put her hands up in her fighting signature.
Marcus' grin faded slightly, though it was still there just underlying, "Come now, you where once my queen. Return to me." his voice, like venom but with an edge of something else.
"You killed, you knew the moment that you did that, that I was no longer by your side." she growled and then charged forward.

Adrian stopped for a moment, but ordered his brothers to keep going in the general direction, and if so, follow the dragons. He saw Rish's demon body on the ground, he went out so suddenly, it wasn't him who had caused this....Adrian thought. Unexpectedly, but brother-like, Adrian opened his mouth and grabbed Rish softly by the neck and carried him. His run was slower, but he was a wolf...
Elijah was calm. She was like a little child who was told that she couldn't go out and play. Her eyes downcast, still looking at her hands, thinking. Thinking of better days in the past. Aedreath noticed a difference in the path of wolves running, the leader had fallen back.

Cerast's eyes narrowed with anger, Mithras had better win, she thought before hugging herself to Pip's neck. "Go lower, you'll need to take the lead."
Pip headed toward the ground, opening her wings once more and soaring slowly over the pack toward a large opening in the moutain's side. She slowed and landed folding her wings and ducking into the surprising warmth of the cave as the snow picked up again.
As soon as Pip touched down Cerast launched herself off of her dragon and back out into the storm. Cerast! Come back! Cerast didn't listen as Pip spoke, she moved past the wolves, her eyes fixed on Adrian and Rish's limp fourm.
She slipped slightly in the snow but quickly recovered, stooping down. "I'll take him." she said heaving his large body into her arms, her heart pouded with worry as she attempted to make her way swiftly back toward the cave.
Marcus smiled as Mithras fell limply into his arms, her kissed her slightly "You are a fighter, weak though you may be." he pulled her up into his arms and grinned as he felt another, small, demonic presence within him. He grinned and whistled slightly.
Something dark moved through the tree swiflty and landed infront of him, he put Mithras into the saddle, creating a sort of seat belt to keep her in place. Keep her safe.
Will do...They entered Le'Ai...But the royal one exited the cave to go after your new one. another voice responded, red eyes flashing in the darkness.
Marcus smirked and then disappered into the darkness. Take her to my castle. his voice ecohed into the dark dragon's mind.

Adrian relieved Rish into her hands, but he knew something wasn't right. He looked back at Cerast and spoke to her, still in wolf form. "There is danger nearby, I can smell the stink of darkness on them. They are coming for you. I will accompany you to our resting spot, and let us pray we make it safely." He howled to his brother Radian, as he stepped forward also. The darkness was getting closer.
Elijah lifted her head. She had stepped off of Aedreath slowly, and heard Cerast crash into the forest. "Elijah!" Aedreath yelled suddenly, Elijah had began walking swiftly after Cerast, she too, had sensed it. She unsheathed her sword viciously as she headed towards the human they had called Lady Cerast. "She's in danger Aedreath, and I plan to be there to protect her, I will not be afraid this time." She whispered, knowing he would her. "Darkness...come to me and let me destroy you for the last time..." She whispered.
(I had another good song moment! Ordinary by Train, and just the 'Elijah' part...*sigh* I love music...)

Cerast nodded, calling upon Pip Lend me you strength.. Pip didn't say anything but suddenly the burden of Rish became lighter. "Thankyou." she said in acknowledgement to Adiran's words.
Marcus smirked, "Do you really wish to challenge me young rider?" he voice came as he appeared slightly, behind her before vanishing.Hurry little one, your new friend will soon follow the old. his venomus voice ecohed into her head as he began to head back toward his old target.

(EDITED) Elijah's eyes narrowed as he appeared before her, anger rising up. Aedreath once again roared like never before. Elijah's arm began to glow again, or at least the markings did. As he disappeared she smirked and quickly entered the forest after him.
"Did you not recognize a face of the past, coward?" She whispered back to him. White flashed in front of her eyes, momentarily. Ruins. Elijah stood among ruins. Palace ruins. Dragon roars echoed through the ruins of a once prosperous city. I promised you, Kai, Elijah thought, I didn't want to break my promise...
Elijah! She heard Aedreath call her back, even though he couldn't see her anymore. The markings on her arm glowing more than ever. She raised her sword, which glowed also because of her arm, and sliced down a branch in her way.
Adrian growled as darkness approached closer, he jumped in front of Cerast, as his brother, Radian did the same to the other side, they had her surrounded, but she still needed protection. (EDITED)

Marcus grinned, his golden eyes flashing in the trees around Elijah, taunting her. I recognize you Elijah Rose, I most deffinetly do. And the word soward has never hurt me, nor will it. Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me...Oh wait, none of them will! he laughed before his true fourm appeared in front of her, as he ran just beyond her reach.
Cerast couldn't move now as the two borhters protected her, she stooped down, putting Rish's limp boy at her feet she realesed Pip's help and drew her own sword. Marcus's laugh rang all around them as she did so.
Pip roared, she knew all to well who Marcus was, though Cerast didn't, she did. Her large ears flicked backward. Aedreath...What can we do! her thoughts where pained, the two of them where far to large to weave their way through the trees in time to be helpful, and her own minds had gone blank as she spotted something in the sky as it flew over them.
A brief thought reaching her, an indicisable one, but one which was from another dragon, she bared her teeth. Marcus' dragon, which like himself was a being of darkness.

Elijah smirked as his reply, flat as usual, just like she remembered. "If you're not such a coward then stop running. And besides, I didn't come here to hurt you, Marcus, I came to kill you." She cut down another branch in her way as she finally saw Cerast and two wolves and the man, Rish. She could tell Marcus was near, closer than she thought. Quickly, she lifted her staff and and drove it in the ground to the right of Cerast a few inches and mumbled something else in an ancient dragon language. It would provide a slightly-strong forcefield around the five of them. The two brother-wolves growled as the enemy drew closer, one took a step forward, teeth barred. It grew worse. Her other hand began to glow as well, which was unusual, she had no markings on that hand, but now was not the time to worry about it, she would ask Aedreath later, she doubted he would tell her. Now, her eyes began to glow as well, she knelt down and lifted a short blade from her armored boots. She rose back up and looked at Cerast, straight in the eyes, hers glowing, it hadn't done this for a long time, and she partially knew why, but partially not...Lady Cerast...Elijah thought....Lord Kai...she thought again, she made the connection. Elijah, be careful. Kai whispered. She looked back to the approaching darkness and narrowed her eyes, her body in a defense position, I will not lose this time...she thought.
Aedreath roared again as his eyes began to glow a white-ish color, he began to flap his wings, looking at Pip straight in the eyes and thinking to her, quickly, let us fly, to fight, to survive...to protect. He took flight and knew she would do the same, his speed growing faster every second.

Marcus stepped out of the darkness only a few feet infront of Elijah. His golden eyes narrowed for a split second but as he stared at the sence before him his eyes went blank, becoming a shoking blue instead of the golden color they had been only seconds before.
His whole being seemed to become limp for a split moment, the evil aura he'd given off, gone. But as quickly as it had gone it came back, his eyes narrowed even further then before as he sneered at the four consious being before him.
He summoned his sword, the one he always used with the intent to kill, as he stepped forward slightly the black medal of the sword caught the gleam of the moon, which had just risen and was peeking through the clouds even as a light snow still fell. "Recognize my blade Elijah, I too intend to kill." he said with a grin.
Pip snarled slightly, glancing into the cave. She spread her large wings as she jumped into the sky after Aedreath, letting out a feirce oar of her own.

Elijah narrowed her eyes at him again, they were still glowing, but somehow she knew it wouldn't last long. She moved the arm that was holding the short blade slightly, making her body do a completly different stance, a offensive one. One of the brothers, Radian, slowly stepped forward, growling viciously as he prepared to jump at the man. Adrian stayed back though, waiting for somebody else. Elijah launched herself at him, going for his legs with her sword. She kept her short blade in the background for now, she would use it when she should. Radian also pounced the same time she did, going, for Marcus' left back area and higher than Elijah, his face viciously contorted by rage.
Aedreath noticed Pip's roar, she was just as much a fighting dragon as he was. He glanced down, seeing them already fighting. They speck of darkness that was before them was what they had to catch up to, but Aedreath knew they could do it in no time. How much do you know about him? He asked Pip, wondering really what all she knew. Maybe she knew more than he did, he wondered, but thought it unlikely. Then he backtracked, who knows how many lives this demon had destroyed. He flew quicker.

Marcus smirked, darkness enveloped him for a brief moment as another fourm, resembling his own but of darkness, moved to block Radian. His own eyes fixed upon Elijah as he moved toward her, ready to block but also ready to slash out he lunged out slightly, disappearing before reappearing a few feet away once more.
Pip snarled slightly, He is the one called Darkness Seaker, his dragon has been corrupt by the bond they share and is no longer a being of flesh and bone. He calls himself a King but truely has no call to royal blood. Thus why he seeks to destory those who do.
Something flashes before them and large dragconic wings made of whisps of darkness spread before them. You know much of my rider young dragon. came a voice which seemed only to emonate loathing. Large red eyes appeared within the drakness and a shape of a dragon seemed to materilize. Funny how I can move so much faster then you... He cackled as he dived toward Aedreath, ignoring Pip who snarled but made no move toward him, she was summoning her own fire, which was perhapse the only thing who could harm this dragon.

Radian's body stumbled back slightly as he let out a long whine. He got back on his feet as he snarled again and looked to Cerast, and then to his brother. He nodded once, then turned his attention back to what the man, had done with himself and his other figure. Radian jumped forward and latched his teeth onto Marcus's other form of darkness, his teeth sunk in deeply, but he knew it wasn't normal. Adrian, his brother began to step forward too, but as he did so, he stepped in front of the Lady Cerast, and howled. In return, he heard four other howls, they were the leaders of the smaller branches of the pack, they were on their way.
Elijah's glow in her eyes faded, but her arms remained. She knew it would after a while. She protected herself by blocking any attack by bringing her other arm around that held the shortblade in it. It was pointed downward, the metal of the blade touching her skin, it was in a defensive position. "What's wrong, Marcus, afraid?" She smirked again, she looked back to Cerast, noticing that she was currently safe by approaching wolves. She looked back as she stood up and smirked again, waiting for him to come to her.
Aedreath looked to Pip at her reply and had to give her credit for what she knew. Yes, corrupt indeed. I was there when the name was given to him.
Suddenly the black dragon appeared in front of them. Aedreath barely had time to regain his bearings before he realized that he was heading towards him. Aedreath opened his mouthed and roared like never before, light and fire bursting from his mouth. He knew it wouldn't kill him, but at least stun him for a few moments. Aedreath chuckled once and said in his mind quietly, Funny how you said that the last time and looked what happened...

Cerast kept her eyes only upon Elijah and the true Marcus as the two began their fight, her own hand shaking upon her sword, she had never been a fighter. Rish had been her constant protection, for to long perhapse, for she could no longer remember the movements Pip had trained her in.
"Never." he said as darkness circled around him then stretched fourth it's mighty tendrills and enclosed around himself and Elijah. "But I do value solitude." his voice ecohed through this new domain. "The true question is are you afriad Elijah? Darkness is not an element those of the light should tempt." his laugh ecohed once more through the black.
Suddenly a frial boy, with blood red hair and clear blue eyes stepped next to Elijah, "Help me...please." his voice was small, his whole body shook and upon his arm where similar markings to Elijah's own. The bright glow was green and light the boys face, he looked like a younger Marcus, but the eyes where wrong.
Welcome to my demain warrior of light. came Marcus' voice, only now in her head, he must had delved deeper into the surrounding darkness.
The boy was clutching at Elijah now, as swirls of darkness attempted to grab him away. "Do you hate him? You mustn't it's what gives him his power!" the boys soft and frightened voice was turning into a shrill scream, and then he was gone.
Marcus scowled, "Pest, he never seems to stay locked away. Now then, Miss Rose." he had reappeared before her, his golden eyes glowing faintly where perhapse the only thing one could see. "Shall we?" he questioned, lifting his blade and resting it upon his other hand before stepping back into the darkness.
The dragon laughed, Tickles. he murmered as he flitted forward, and was now behind the two other dragons.
Pip hissed and in a matter of second fire, surrounded by a blue lighting like light, struck forward. It hit the other dragon square in the chest. The red eyes widdened, and a grin spread acorss the dragons face.
This time the dragon spoke aloud, "Your like her dragon, no wonder Elena protected you and your royal brat." his true voice was commanding, powerful, and that of a once noble dragon. He laughed, "No wonder..." he paused then smirked, openihng his mouth he let out a long, loud, and ominous roar. Power...That is what you two lack...That and experience...Shall I show you mine. the last remark was a hiss, and not a question. As the black dragon closed his mouth he smiled and within a matter of seconds he let out another roar, this one letting fourth ebony colored flames.
Pip roared, almost like a human might scream with surprise, and dived at Aedreath, pulling them both out of the way of the flames, although the did graze her right wing, she ignored the odd sensation which was now spreading through her wing, and righted herself in the air.
The black dragon was gone.
