You know what really irks me?

When I walk into say, The Source, and one of two thins happen; a) I'm ignored completely because I am 16 and thus, obviously have no money and am not worth their time or b) I'm watched like a hawk because I am 16 and thus, obviously have no money so I'm going to try and steal stuff I could never afford.

Teenagers have money and jobs too! mad And I don't quite feel like spending it when your employees refuse to help me find what I'm looking for or think I'm evil and am going to steal stuff. Geesh >_> This is the main reason I don't shop there anymore, they refuse to service me because I look poor and I'm young. Oh, and they tried to rip me off and make me buy an entirely new laptop when my old one's problem was clearly covered under the normal factory warranty, but that's a different story lol Freaking management.
What annoys me is when my friend says he's gonna steal something for me, then he doesn't, but he always steals things for his girlfriend then says he paid for it >:U

I hate it when I'm shopping with a friend and they steal stuff, and we leave the store and show me afterwards and I'm like '... dude, where's mine?' xd but in all honesty I'm against stealing from stores. I don't mind if it's little stuff like under $5, but once you start shoplifting things over $10 that's when I think your pushing it sweatdrop I'd rather my friends didn't shoplift when I'm with them because if they get caught I don't want to be there and get blamed for it as well.

Study leave makes time go by so slowly. Seriously, I've been off for about 2/3 weeks on study leave and my exams finish next Tuesday but it just seems to be taking ages! And my friend Chris has already finished, so he's not plagued by the shackles of study. I can't wait until they're done, I'll be free! And I've got plenty of plans lined up for the summer too, so that's good. I feel really sorry for the year below me doing their GCSE's though, I remember what I was like back then, it was horrible. They're going to be SO happy when everything's over though.

ROFL, I'm sorry, but I'm just glad I don;t ahve to deal with that.

Although I really do hate how everyone causes drama abut EVERYTHING. "Omg, lyk, did you see how amanda was looking at jonathan? she totally likes him, but it'l never work out lawl". I feel like slapping them, so damn hard. No one can just analyse situations, they have to literally exaggerate a look, an action, an EYE MOVEMENT. That, and people are so damn shallow, it pisses the hell out of me. "It's all about personality!" BULLSHIT, everyone I know has physical standards, and most people can't even respond to the question "Why do you like this person" properly.

Yeah, I know what you mean. That whole gossip attitude where they make it like a soap opera or something. I'm in an all-guy school and there are still people doing that all over the place.
And I hate shallow people as well. I mean, if someone asked me why I liked my ex-gf, I tell them that it was her sense of humour, which is true. I don't consider myself a shallow person at all, but what really annoyed me was when one of my friends considered breaking up with her boyfriend of 4 years because he cut his hair. I mean, come on.

Why does the whole "friends breaking apart" thing have to be so damn difficult?
I was in a group of 4.
Myself, Bryan, Chris and Michael. Mostly due to Chris being an introvert, we never hung out. When I told him about it, he said "Well go and make some new friends", I did. And the new ones are brilliant, we hang out and have a good time. So it seems that in my life, times are changing and I'm leaving my old group. But Michael feels all left out and I had to explain to him that he's not being cut out.
I just wish it wasn't so difficult and complicated.

Here's the situation:

My friends and I hang out in a group, right? Outside that group, I have a few other friends. Now everyone in the group but me has been able to take this trip because they all belong to this organisation that I'm not in. So they're away having a great time without me right now.
So I decide that since I don't want to sit alone in my house, I call my friend Chris and ask him to come up. He agrees. This morning, I ask him why he has't come up and he says he's just forgotten. When I ask if he's still going to come up, he says no.
So there you have it, not only am I the only person in the group who's not away having a ball at this trip, but the one person that I'd like to spend time with just bailed on me.
This sucks. Like seriously.

This entire ordeal has finally finished; and all I got was a slap in the face.

Two years ago my parents bought me an Acer laptop as a Christmas present. I was sooo happy. Any kid would be. Then a few months later I noticed that there was a crack on the outside of the bottom of the screen casing. This crack eventually led to a peice falling off my computer.

We took it to the store we bought it from and were told it's a design flaw, but is covered under warrenty, no biggie, all was fine and dandy. Store promises to ship it right away and have it back in two weeks.

Four weeks later, and we've heard nothing. My mother calls. The store tells us that thry sent it in and that no, it wasn't covered under warrenty, and that we need to buy a new laptop. Well this didn't roll right; my mom calls back wanting work recepits ect. and gets the new kid. New kid wasn't done with training and hadn't learned to lie his a** off to us. When he checks the records he informs us that the computer had never even been shipped, or looked at; it was just sitting in their back room for those 4 weeks. So my mom thanks him. Calls back the next day and talks to the manager who apolgizes and promises to ship it right away. FINALLY those two weeks later I get my laptop back, all fixed!

Skip ahead a year and the crack is back. So we send it back to the store and it gets shipped off, with a promise of two weeks. Two weeks pass, we hear nothing. My mom calls straight for a week and we're told that it's currently being shipped. After anotherweek we're told that they have heard nothing and that it's likely lost in transit. We're assured it's being looked for, and that the problem will be solved.

Today I get home from work and there's a new Acer laptop sitting on the table, given to us by the store. It was an upgraded version of my old one with better internal spects ect. SWEET! I got a brand new laptop that's better than my old one!

I boot it up.
I exepected it.
But I hoped it wouldn't be.
Vista.

Imagine getting a dead puppy for christmas. That's pretty much what I felt as soon as I realized my brand new laptop came with Vista and not XP. See... I hate Vista. For one I find it horribly ugly and extermly confusing. The security measures on it are ridiculus. If I click a program I want to run it, not click through 3582 confirmation windows to assure the computer it was indeed myself, and not a malicious hacker, that cliked the possibly dangerous program icon.

But. The biggest reason I hate Vista is;
almost all my programs and hardware aren't compatible with this peice of crap OS. My tablet doesn't work. My games dont work. My programs don't work. My camera doesn't work. My printer doesn't work. Nothing works. I just error messages and dead responses that normaly would work fine with XP but apparently hate Vista as much as I do. The only thing I have been able to get working the office tools off the XP CD.

So here I am, 3 hours later. My father's work copy of XP refuses to install, except for the office tools like powerpoint, the internet has been no help, Vista contuines to piss me off, and I've cried/screamed/thrown enough hysterical fits to best a three year old. My knuckles are still bleeding from when I punched the chair sweatdrop

*sigh* I just want to get Vista off, and put XP on. None of this dual booting crap I keep reading about. Just XP sad

@ Meruda: That really sucks! I hope it works out for you though smile

My rant:

Wacken Open Air 2007!
The biggest metal festival in the world happened this year between August 2nd and August 4rth, in Wacken, northern Germany. I really wanted to go, but I couldn't afford it and my mum thought that 17 was too young to be going to Germany without her. So my friend Sarah from England went and had a great time. One of the bands playing there is called Stratovarius and they're very well known. Sarah fell into their keyboardist's tent when she was playing frisbee. So when Stratovarius are performing, the lead vocalist gets up and says "Jens(the keyboardist) actually has a tent here in the festival grounds-we can't tell you where it is because it's full of beer. We think someone fell into it earlier, they may have been drunk."
Out of all the people at Wacken (over 60,000), my friend Sarah was the one he was talking about. Isn't that really cool?!
So yes, I HAVE to go next year with Sarah, her friends, and a couple of people from my school. I'm VERY excited biggrin
