"Just all of a sudden your mood changed. Did I say something wrong?" she asked, thinking back to a few moments ago. She mentioned something about the pool table and how making out on it was kinky, and she also said something about a vampire. What was wrong with that? Did he not think making out on a pool table was kinky? Was he afraid of vampires? Or was he a vampire? Too many things ran through her head.

"No, you didn't say anything wrong." Raphael said as he walked over to a table that held a framed photograph. It was of a young man that looked remarkably like Raphael himself.

She sighed a little of relief. "Is something wrong, darling?" she asked. "Please tell me what's on your mind."

"That word ... vampire. It's always connected with evil." He said darkly as he stared at the old photo.

She cocked an eyebrow. "Not always. I guess there are good vampires, too. Why would they all be evil?" she asked him. She was very curious now.

"Because ... would you call something that drinks blood wholesome?" Raphael asked as he looked to her. His eyes filled with anger and sorrow.

"Wholesome? Maybe not that, but they could be good. I mean, it's just natural for them. What's wrong, love?" she asked and rushed over to him. "Are you a vampire or something?" she asked out of curiousity.

Raphael felt his heart break.
"Yes love ... those photo's are of me out in the living room." he said quietly.

She hugged him tightly. "It's okay. I love you," she said and kissed him passionately as she held him.

Raphael hugged her back as blood red tears spilled down his face.
"You are the first to say that i a long while." he told her.

She held him close. "I mean it, too," she said. She noticed his tears and wiped them off his face. "Don't cry, darling. It's okay. It's not your fault," she told him in a soothing voice. She hoped she could calm him down.

Raphael burried his face in her hair and sighed. His tears started to ease.
"You are miraculous." He told her.

"No I'm not. I'm just willing to care for people. That's all," she said and rubbed his back softly to soothe him. She hoped this would help him.

Raphael Stretched his neck, the muscles there being tight. He touched her chek gently.
"Thank you luv, you are too kind." he said before he kissed the top of her head.
