"Hey!" Kadri laughed, as her friend somewhat teased her. But naturally, tredding water and giggling didn't mix to well, so her barely-afloat head began to dunk in and out. Trying to get back above waterlevel, Kadri speed up her trends, but that ruined the balance and didn't help at all. If anything, it made things worse. Kadri was still laughing, though. Apparently, this half-drowning thing happened before.

Sunshine giggled again but stopped when she noticed Kadri."Kadri, do you need help?"She asked worried.

Kadri laughter slightly weakened. She managed to sputter out "no", shortly after calming down. When she did, the bear-girl swiped her eye and sighed, "Ahaha... The fact of what's going on makes you laugh more, and it just gets worse and worse... You just can't stop laughing..."

Kadri tredded water, watching Sunshine and trying to process what she was saying. She remained silent as she thought about it. Sunshine's sad smile made the words more touching. But maybe Kadri was just a wuss. Still, she couldn't think of anything to say. "Umm." She mumbled, wondering if she should change the topic...

Kadri smiled and shook her head 'no'. "Well, what do you want to do?" She asked, "We can have a shell-search contest... How 'bout for the biggest shell?"

Kadri agreed quickly, "'Kay." She lied. "So. Underwater search for the biggest shell! Lasting 4 minutes or somethin', on your marks, get set..."

"Go!" Sunshine jumped in.She look around in the water,feeling refreshed by the water."If I was a sea shell,would I be?"She asked her self.Watching the bubbles go up. She swam down deeper.

Kadri swallowed up a great big breath as Sunshine ducked under the lake's surface. She quickly joined the mermaid, splashing down below. Biggest sea shell, biggest sea shell... Searching wouldn't be hard. She just had to look for an eye-catching rock.
The athelic bear-girl swam around the bottom of the shallow water, loving how she could fly over the damp sand and watch. Soon enough her lungs began to ache, however, and she had to rush up for air. Kadri wasted no time, taking in a gasp and then diving down below again.

Sunshine dig threw the sand. "I found one!" She smiled picking up the shell.It wasn't big.It wasn't medium either. It was tiny. She frowned,"Oh well.."She kept the shell in her hand for her collection.

A cloud of brown clogged Kadri's vision of the peaceful seafloor. She swooped back, surpised by the dust. Quickly tracing it back to the source, the bear-girl found that Sunshine had been digging for some shells, and upset the sea floor. Kadri shrugged. She didn't want to bother Sunshine... She'd just look elsewhere until the cloud left. But quickly, some more air...

"Sorry"More bubbles rose to the top as she swam across the ocean floor.Fish randomly swim by her.Sunshine blinked looking around.She swam to the top,expecting Kadri to up there."Hey Kadri! Found anything?"She asked.
