Aedan smiled lightly at the appearance of the newest and smallest species to date. It wasn't quite like anything he'd seen before, but that wasn't so much a surprise to him. Nothing with the kyns were ever really predictable to begin with.

Minya gave a slow blink down at the newly born creature, then righted herself again to survey the crowd. It was less her obligation to oversee the little creature now that it was hatched, and more to tell the others about it. "I think that it might be time for me to show some of you something. There is a place where only a select few can ever find, and even fewer can actually enter." Despite Aedan's suddenly harsh look towards Minya, the European female continued. "It's the place where this egg, where all kyn eggs and familiars, are originally created."

Minya stepped back from the crowd then, uncurling her tail from about Aedan's legs. "I can take one kyn from each clan, or their bonded. But you must be able to fly either through a friend's aid or your own. And only one."

Aedan could have bitten his own tongue off at about this point in time, though Minya didn't seem ready to stop just yet.

Ganon's flight immediately began to squabble amongst themselves over who would go. Luftwaffe was convinced that as the only Lord of the group, he should be the one, but Hadus shot that down with a glare. Ganon had to stay, himself. In his arms was a little Eastern, with another Eastern egg sitting in his lap.

Hadus glanced to Lorne, who nodded and raised one claw, then tapped the ground powerfully with one claw. The sound and tremor silenced the flight, and Ganon nodded to Hadus-- it was up to the Prince to decide.

Hadus stepped forward and cleared his throat. "I myself will be staying, as, it seems will Master Ganon. I have to help Kori care for this newly hatched egg, after all." He glanced to Lorne. "Normally, of course, Lorne would go in my place, but we can all see where that might be a problem. Sorry, Lorne."

"No problem."

"Indeed. Beltane, Lammas, and Yule, as my children, I can't decide on one of you over the others. In light of that, I won't be choosing any of you." He slowly looked around at the flight as his three children groaned, and then he smiled slowly at someone off to the side. "... Tare! I want you to go."

Tare jumped up from where he had been leaning against Asayake? "Wh-what!?"

"Tare, you're the most learned kyn in our flight. I think you'll understand best... whatever it is that needs to be understood."

"Oh! Well, thank you, Prince!" He grinned and looked over to Asayake, then nuzzled her cheek brightly and moved forward, lying down near Minya and Aedan to wait.

poke watched gannon's clan squabble amongst themselves over the rights of who would go, and she checked her own kyn to see what was happening and if there was any fighting of their own. Taku seemed indifferent, though he may be as eager as she was. Kameko didn't seem to interested, especialy with drazio about. Sharketsu was defiantely not gonna go, and kichi? she looked down and she merely smilied. She could tell poke wanted to kick some butt, as usual. And as far as she knew there was no baby kyn hatchings to take care off. So there was no problem with herself going right?

When she heard that tare was gonna go, she wondered. Perhaps if she asked nicely..he might be willing enough to give her a lift? but should she ask someone else instead incase it was rude? poke sighed; what was this, a road trip in which she must hitch a lift? she felt like sticking her thumb out and holding out a sign.

Without a moment's hesitation, Draconis shouted, "MAGGIE!" despite the look that Kragen gave her. "What!? I can't fly, and you don't like crowds! Twi can't fly, and I don't think Drazio's interested in anything else right now. Veigh's gone. Alys is, well, she can't go, especially on her own! I also need to hold on to this egg. Draco's the only eligible one to go, and he's big enough to carry Riders whose dragons can not fly. You can't really argue with that."

"No, I can not," Kragen conceded, mumbling something under his breath and lying down again. He obviously didn't agree with the decision, but he couldn't argue with it.

Magnus looked up, startled. "Me?" he asked as he reluctantly left Myrrh's side so he could hear his Rider better. "No, I must refuse...! It's too much of an honour."

"You're going to be giving others a lift. Think of it. Rather than me burdening someone else's dragon, you could be doing a nice thing for them!"

"Well, in that light..." Magnus turned to Myrrh, a questioning look on his face.


And then Draconis's mind shifted gears again, and she called out, "What's the dragonfly's name!?"

"Ganon, maybe..." Nicky had her hand on her mate's shoulder.

"I should go, Mistress."

"Kori, what? But you have the baby..." The hatchling had, by now, fluttered and climbed its way from Kori's previously lifted claw into the Eastern's thick, fluffy black mane and had settled down, for now, to sleep.

"...which is why I should go. This baby is the reason this gathering was called." Kori carefully turned, so as not to disturb the baby, and bowed slightly to Ganon. "Is there any way that you will change your mind and allow my Hadus to fly with us?"

Tetania smiled at the eager hatchling, seeing that she was reluctant to admit she needed help. "Perhaps you could fly on your own for a while and rest on my back if you get tired," she suggeted gently. Realizing that she didn't know the little one's name, she said, "I don't think we've been introduced; my name's Tetania, what's yours?"

"hi, tetania. really glad to see you! i'm qwerrty! my rider is mamejen!" happly said qwerrty. "yes, i'm his owner, mamejen, mame for short." said mamejen as she looked at tetania. "oh, and i'm a he." said little qwerrty.
