Laurel Talbot As the Shadow Cloak again moves to block the PFC's shot, the Corporal's punch sends her staggering a few steps back. She raised her hand and sent a bolt of searing light into the Corporal's face. [5,3,-,45] Random_Monster_Attack ((Whatever you say man, I'll just repost then since you're the expert on Verve's powers...)) Verve strolled in through the open door carrying a few boxes of supplies. Though he seemed to be oblivious to the fight going on around him as he put away the boxes, he was actually quite aware of the situation, and dispersed the two shots going to Ruby and Hattie. (x2 main power) (since they're still floating around.... Im actually kinda reminded of the mooninites lazer.) ((7|5|3)) r Ruby St.Claire ((O-O yeah, I just caught onto this too....>.> I should've been paying attention to this thread, oops. We're being attacked by three human troops, and we were shot at also, but Verve took care of those bullets, so no harm to us.)) Ruby grabbed Hattie by the arm and pushed her behind her. "Careful, sug, 'nless you got some powers to fight with." She takes some of the blood from the nurse who had been shot earlier, and making a long red spike she sends it hurtling towards PV2. (9 2 50) ((alright sorry for the week long delay but as ED had already assumed Field training it was cold but fun. Even managed to get smoked... not hard to do though...)) Laurels attacks burns away the corporals face leaving him on the ground choking on his own blood till he dies...(0) (one down) The PV2 fumbles with his shield getting the thing activated just in time to block the blood spike. the PFC runs towards the down soldier grabbing by his armor and rushing for the door while the PV2 falls back as well firing his rifle two more times at Ruby to cover their escape. (PV2 4 2 1 15) (PFC 6 3 1 15)

Ruby built up a blood sheild blocking the rifle shots as the two soldiers escaped. "Everyone okay?" She called out, looking to see who all was injured.

Hattie let Ruby push her behind, a little taken back by the events playing out in front of her. From behind Ruby, Hattie dropped to the floor and touched the floor with her fingers lightly. She closed her eyes and after a moment, a small sprout popped up between her fingers.

Ruby turned around as the soldiers dissapeared. Magdala was being cared for by another healer. She nudged Hattie with her elbow. "You all right, sug? Ooh, an' did you do that?" She pointed to the sprout.

Hattie looked up at Ruby and sighed. "Yeah, I did." She waved her hand over the sprout and it slithered back into the grfound.

Ruby almost frowned as the sprout dissapeared. "So you're one of the special types too, aren't you. What all can you do?"

Hattie stood up and dusted off the knees of her camo pants. "I can do mostly Earthy things. Summon trees.. Um... a little rain sometimes... I can do better things with dirt and mud." She replied.

Ruby nodded, rubbing her chin a bit as she thought. "So what brings you to the shelter? I mean, you did have some wounds an all, but they seemed basic enough. You lookin' for a place to stay?"

"Some people directed me here after a bomb or something destroyed my house... Well, Garage, really. I used to scrap cars and sell the parts..." She shrugged again, not really caring. She didn't mention that she did it illegaly. "And a place to stay would be great."
