A small waning smile crossed Aegle's face and he returned the bow. "That's alright. Though I'd prefer it if you didn't call me 'dearie'." he said calmly wings fluttering before folding against his back. For some reason he wasn't looking forward to a chat with this one. He had a natural sense of whether or not he'd get along with someone or not now he wasn't saying he'd never been wrong it was just...he had a feeling that sense might actually be right once again.
Jet black wings ruffling some he looked around before his emerald gaze finally settled on Xenophon some distance away. It seemed the other was late in getting here. Somewhat like how he'd been when he first arrived. Getting up flute in hand he started over to where the other was slowly. Finally close enough to speak he drew in a soft breath. "Xenophon?" he called voice low though loud enough to be heard.

Caden smiled letting everything sink in and stick. " That's pretty cool I take pictures. not professionally but i have sold a few to a magazine." He said sitting a bit straighter.

Astro Zombies` "Because its your night tonight, not mine." He stared up at Raechal and sighed before fiddling with his robes once more. Eventually he pulled out a golden credit card and another pack of smokes. He wouldnt light another cig right now but he figured he shold have it out for later. Then again, its not like his date said he hated smoke so he felt no reason to stop.
"I am NOT a social person. Does that make me evil? Or perhaps the kind of person you would avoid dearie? There are a lot of things in this world that people should fear, usually I am one of them. You made a choice to go on a blind date as well did I . If you hate me then so be it, yet remember I'm not psychic"

Astro Zombies` Jet tilted his head as he crossed his arms over his chest.
"So.. your not on the dumb "dating service" thing like I was .. er.. forced into eh?"
He studied the others smile and grinned. Someone more grumpy and sarcastic than him? Oh my.. bad sign. Wonder if he was a slazy though..... lets not jump tp conclusions.
He shrugged and continued standing there with a dumbfounded look on his face. "Name's Jet, and no.. I wont be moving faster than the sound barrier for anyone." Joscelin snorted but gave a small smile. "Yes..it was more of go on the date or be kicked out of my home. " He picked up a plastic cup full of punch and sipped it slowly. "Jet then..I won't be asking for that."

He took off his large hat and tucked it under his arms. He then offered his hand out for a shake then used one hand to grasp the tiny red rose that was sticking out of his front shirt pocket. Stumbling he offered it out to the angel, already knowing that this probably wouldnt end well. He had loved once and it was taken away from him. Something that left him usually cold and bitter to the social world. Still.. it doesnt mean he doesnt think he can find his lost lover.. somehow... Whether finding someone to take his mind off of things or literally finding a way to bring his lover soul back no one would know how crazy either option would be. Both seemed impossible.

Sanzo rarely ever felt cornered. But this was one of those times when you think to yourself "What the ********, it has been mentioned that he is not very.. er.. social. But when someone allows him to choose freely what to do he then begins to question his own sanity.
He shook his pack of smokes and growled, at loss for words. He wanted to just scream for the person to pick something, yet he made a promise not to wound/scream/mock people in this place. Perhaps it would do him some good.
He finally cursed lightly and looked around the room. Something to do.. something to do...
He snapped at the top of his current drink and finally had a brain fart. "Fine, we are going outside for a walk then"

Jet chucked. "Seems we both have issues with authority then... care for some fun? He said while pointing to a large door on the left side of the room. It was supposed to be filled old speakers, old toys and cd's and other various things. While it was off limits he wanted in there and he thought he knew a way from outside. It he was forced here, he wanted something out of it.

Astro Zombies` Murray spazzed while watching teh wolf fall on his a**. "No... aww..." He dove under the table and crawled to get to Jason. He tilted his head though and licked at the creme that was now on Jasons shirt, feeling a bit foolish while doing so.
"F.. father. God father. Not mother... and.. I'm not that good" he said frowning. He got back up on his feet and tried offering Jason help up since he felt guilty for him falling in the first place. He sighed and flicked his wings. He knew he had never answered Jason about whether or not he knew Gracie. It had been a while since he had been home. Not everyone LIVED with Gracie, she just supported him. He felt bad though and just didnt go back to the little house he had though one day.

Like the other...sort of, Anu was here to see if there was anyone to sleep with and that was it, as soon as he reached the bar he ordered a harvey wallbanger and walked over to a free table near by. "Come, join me, I dont even know how long we have with each person till we change" he said, trying to make conversation.

-Announcement- Due to some, technical difficulty, it appears that Suten Anu has been pulled out've the contest. There is also a phonecall for Mr. Anu, if he could go answer...

You will now be meeting... -squints at his paper, then at the guy in question, before shrugging- Usagi~((Usagi-chan is my anthro, but please be aware that he wont be winning anything for taking part in this event. He's jsut here to help the others enjoy themselves still ^ ^ ))

Usagi didn't take long to find the already awkward speed date, even though he came in the middle of it, and had missed valuble time, he seemed somewhat eager to make up for it.
"Um, wow, hey. I heard you was pulled out, Anu, Bad luck. You must've not filled in the forms or sommin. You seemed awkward anyway, you don't mind if i steal away your date, do you? I hope not~" He already wrapped an arm around the doctor's and whisked him to the other side of the bar, ordering himself a drink.
"Phew~ So, what was going on there huh? You seemed to be having a bad time. I'm Usagi, What's your name, hm?" He asked, tilting his head to the side, before starting to calm down again.

Murray looked a bit confused. Not many people were this nice to him, then again he hadnt tried any magic on Jason yet so far so who knows. He bent down and grabbed Jasons plushie before he forgot it. Snugging it he flicked a single wing, it shined in the pale lit halls of the building.
"Cake?" He said squeaking. "But... but..." He had a choice, risk going insane on a sugar overload or risk disappointing his new.. well new friend. He smiled and ducked low, trying to stop his large tail from knocking into anything. He wanted a friend... something he never truly had. Sure people talked to him and shoo'ed him away but that was about it. If this "date" didnt give him a life long mate, he was hoping for at least a friend. But whether or not he would get it was the ultimate question.

Frankie made a weird face and growled as Anu was escorted away. He wanted to do something but.. something stopped him. Perhaps it was because the doctor was being replaced with a more muscular man, one with blondish orange hair ....
He was suddenly amused and decided not to protest at all. He was far too busy studying every freaking line and detail of Usagi. Getting hopes up? Perhaps. Caring? Your asking if a madman cares? .......
He grinned his seductive grin and fixed his boa back in place. His necklace had gotten caught in it so he was fidgiting with it, trying to hurry up and look his best.
"Going on? Nothings going on dear, but I think I still want a drink. Care to.. join me?" he said offering a hand. He glared at the people in line for a drink. It would make them wait. Wasnt a bad thing though, either way he would strut his stuff.
"Me? Why you can call me Frankie. I'm a doctor myself actually. But dont worry about me, lets here about you. Unless you.. feel otherwise. I wouldnt mind a change of plan" his eyes were fixated on Usagi's, trying to figure out what he could possibly be into. The tattoo wasnt very macho but it made Frankie squee a bit and want to rub against it. He restrained himself though. God knows HOW but he did...
