Serge nodded as he walked over and sat down as well, a thoughtful look on his face. After a moment the look vanished from his face and he laid back, letting his eyes close. "We should get to sleep soon, try and get up with the sun to give ourselves the most time to work with tomorrow."

Rogue laid back and crossed her arms behind her head for a pillow. As she listened to Serges' suggestion she made a face, "Up with the sun? But it's so early." She groaned slightly before looking over at the fire, she hoped there wouldn't be a lot of wind causing it to go out.
Sighing softly to herself, she shifted into a more comfortable position and closed her eyes. Time to sleep.

Serge groaned as he woke. It was early, he didn't like early...but then he remembered, this was his suggestion, wouldn't do for him to complain about it.
He woken a few times in the night to keep the fire from dying out, but had still rested well enough. Looking over to the still sleeping Rogue, he sighed in regret of having to wake her.
Not because he thought she looked peaceful when she slept or anything though, no, he was just scared she'd be like Riku, no to swing first wake up later.
"Rogue," The boy said as he got beside her and shook her a little. "Time to get up, so we can see if we can get back home."

Rogue made a quiet noise in the back of her throat at she got shaken away, "But Ah dun' wanna..."
Her eyelids fluttered open and bright emeralds looked up at Serge, a sweet smile on her face and she curled up in her spot slightly. "Can't Ah sleep for one more hour? It won't hurt nothin'."

Serge sighed and shook his head, that smile had the potential to be dangerous. "Hmm, which do you want more? To sleep right now, on the cold ground, or to get back home and sleep in your bed?

Rogue paused as she thought about both options, "How about... you gimme a piggyback right back to my bed so Ah can sleep there?" Now she was just stalling to not get up quite yet, but it was still fun talking to him, even if she was tired.

Serge's eyes widen slightly as a rather obvious rose tint hit his cheeks. "Wh-what...I...th...that is...I..." He quickly turned around, trying to hide the blush he knew had.
Suddenly the cave floor was so very interesting.

Rogue quickly moved to sit up, leaning around his shoulder to peek at his face slightly. "Serge? What's wrong? Cat gotcha tongue?"
She was aware of his blush, yes, and the fact that her words set it off, another yes, but she wasn't aware of the fact that it was her saying the words that had set him off.

Serge's blush deepened slightly, her concern was nice, but it only helped to throw him off all the more. Coughing into his hand after a moment, he cleared his throat and spoke. "I...I'm fine." He answered, though it wasn't perfectly convincing.
"We...we should get going...don't you think?" He asked, turning to her with a smile, blush gone. It took a lot to will the thing away though, he noted to himself before he stood and offered the girl a hand up, as if it were nothing.

Rogues' smile only grew as he held out his hand to help her up, she took up and stood up before grabbed the remaining berries with her other hand, just in case they got hungry.
Still holding onto Serge's hand, she grinned. "So, are we off on another adventure? I have the promise of a warm bed awaiting me. Let's go!"

Serge blushed a bit when she didn't let go of his hand. Nodding as she said 'let's go', he began walking, expecting her to let go of his hand, but not really wanting her to.

Popping one of the berries into her mouth, she began swinging their arms slightly. "So where do ya think we should go? Ah personally don't recognize a thang..."
Walking out of the mouth of the cave, she looked around before asking, "Are we gonna wing it?"

Serge's lightly blush held when his hand wasn't released, and he couldn't help a small smile either. "What else can we do really?" He asked after a moment. "Going back to the beach and walking in one direction or another may or may not do any good after all."

Pausing for a minute before responding, Rogue's cheeks tinted a light red, but her smile was still big. "Well, actually... that's what Ah was gonna suggest. We got lost ona beach, so maybe it we walk along from this side of the beach, we could find the other... But that's a lot of backtracking, now that ya mention it not working."
Another pause halted Rogues' speaking until she squeezed Serges' hand slightly, "Are we gonna be stuck here forever?" Her voice was much softer now and she didn't have the courage that she did a mere five seconds ago. 'Forever' may have been a childish word to use, but it conveyed her emotions perfectly... and she was still a child.

Serge's flinched internally at the question. It wasn't right, hearing that voice from the girl beside him, it simply didn't simply did belong, that almost sad, almost scared tone.
"I'll get us home, no matter what." Those words...they'd left his mouth with out him even thinking, it was surprising to him, how easily they'd come. But more so was the fact, that he truly meant them. "Trust me, to do that much?"
"Is that a promise you can keep?" A whisper as quiet as the end questioned from in the shadows of the trees.
