Sauntering over to the Slytherin table, Draco Malfoy sat down with a husky sigh and a sulky look on his face. Scanning the Great Hall Draco found Harry, Ron and Hermione. Turning to Crabbe and Goyle, he muttered "Oh,look, it's Potty and the Weasel! Along with Granger, at that." Draco smirked as he got a laugh out of his fellow Slytherins. Motioning for the student across from him to duck down, Draco shot a quick 'Serpensortia!' at poor Neville. The snake, landing on his food, gave the boy a good fright. Pounding his hand on the table, Draco howled with laughter. Once his laughter had died down, Dracowiped tears from his eyes from laughing so much. "I..Needed...That laugh..." he said between laughs. ((Sorry for the short post. I'm not that great at RPing. That, and the lack of creativity at the moment))

Tal looked at the snake with contempt, picking it up and tossing it away. Her eyes blazed, and for a moment, she was on the verge of cursing Draco. Closing her eyes to calm down, she silently prayed that Draco meet a horrifying death. If he noticed her and her eyes, she didn't care at all. He could try to curse her for all she cared, and it wouldn't matter. She knew he'd meet with a challenge. She was very good at sheilds. Calming back down, she smiled at a grateful Neville, nodding. "It's alright. Snakes are simply annoying dunces. Don't mind them."
She said the last two sentences rather loudly, intending for Malfoy to hear them. Muttering that she spoke to soon about the idiot not being there, she pushed a few strands of black hair behind her ear and struck up a conversation with Katie about Quidditch. She hoped to become a chaser, as she was quite good at it, having played many times with her friends outside of school. Her father, the only remaining member of her family, was a prominent figure in the Ministry, allowing for her to have a Firebolt. Her thoughts returned to Nina, and she drfted away for a moment. She would kill Lucius Malfoy, along with his wife. I swear to god, they're dead. I won't forgive them, ever... Nina, I promise you, I won't let you die in vain.
Ron almost leapt up to destry Malfoy, only to be held down by Neville. Glaring at him, he sat back down, growling. Noticing Tal's angry glare, he grew a little unnerved. Was she plotting something? No, she couldn't be. Tal was too gentle, too sweet to be like that. She couldn't be so... so... murderous, could she? He glanced at Harry, watching him. He wanted to see how he flt around Tal before telling her he thought of her more than a friend. If nothing popped up, he'd simply ask his best mate in the dorms. "Tal, don't forget, snakes aren't very nice to look at. What eyesores!."
He grinned as he heard Tal laugh, a soft laugh, almost like the tinkling of a bell. He watched her turn to him, smiling. But there was something else, in her eyes. Was it... no! It couldn't be a desire for revenge against the Malfoys, could it? What had they done to her, to make her so angry? Ron pushed it out of his mind, talking to her about O.W.L. "I wish you good luck. Last year was our hardest year yet. It was practically impossible. But that might have been because of Umbridge. Thank god she was fired."

Giving them all a look of superiority, Draco raised his chin and chuckled. Standing, Draco said with sickengly sweetness "Well, my friends, I must take my leave. These Gryffindors aren't all as wonderful as they seem, are they? I wonder if Weasley has gotten any money lately. I'm sure the whole family'll need it. But I'm sure Potter will be happy to oblige..." Saying these last few sentences rather loudly, Draco walked past trio and the other Gryffindors with all of his holier-than-thou attitude still intact.
Once out of the Great Hall, Draco quietly went to the Slytherin common room. Apparently bored with his preceedings, Draco had only stayed for a few minutes. Walking back into the hallway, Draco spotted Colin Creevy. Smirking, he shot an antler hex at the poor boy. Snickering at the boy's reaction, he continued walking.

Tal grinned secretly, and hexed Draco as he walked past. The hex had been muttered, and only Ron could hear it, but his loud laugh and him clapping a hand on her shoulder was heard and seen. Still smiling Tal replaced her wand into her cloak, turnig to Neville. "Trust me, he wouldn't dare try anything now."
She rested a hand on Neville's shoulder, smiling comfortingly. All dark thoughts forgotten, Tal almost enjoyed herself. Almost. The necklace still hung heavily around her neck, and she wondered if Draco had seen it and what he knew about it. If he knew too much... she was doomed. And even if he didn't, she was still probably doomed. Striking up a debate with Ron about the best Qudditch Seeker of all time, she forgot her little... curse. "No Ron, he's good and all, but, I still think that he's an idiot. Seekers need to be clever and scheming. They need to think fast."

Hermione looked at Tal disapprovingly as she muttered the spell. Her steely glare then turned to Ron as he made no move to stop her.
"An Impotency Hex? How juvenile of you, Tal. I know Malfoy's bad, but he doesn't deserve to be hexed. That one won't wear off for weeks! "And you, Ron. You should know better than to support someone like that!"
As Hermione told them off, she noticed that Tal's pendant grew a bright green. Tal turned away quickly, but Hermione couldn't be fooled.
Something to do with her emotions? Perhaps she's being monitored?
"Say, Tal, about your pendant-..."
((I leave it hanging here, because I'm sure Tal will want to interrupt and have her secret safe...))

(Yay, a Draco! Okay, sorry for being MIA, everyone. I'll be around again for a bit, but in a week I'll be away for Spring Break, just as a heads up.)
"All right, Tal! Glad one of us had the bollocks to do it!" he laughed and patted her on the back as well, grinning broadly. "Man... I needed that laugh." He stopped short at Hermione's glare of disapproval. "Hermione... he probably won't even notice he's got an impotency hex on him. You think that ugly git gets any action, anyhow?"
Hermione was already distracted, asking Tal something about her pendant. He looked to Ron, hoping he would appreciate the joke.
He had thought that this year, as they were all a little older, they would start to grow up. The students did need to pull together, anyway, in the face of mounting danger. But... he smirked a little, hiding it from Hermione, this was more fun.

[Ooc: No! Don't leave us Lumos!]
Tal looked at Hermione, still smiling. Her hex may have sounded like an Impotency Hex, but it wasn't. What was it? Why don't we leave it as, he's not going to be talking right for a couple of weeks. An Opposite Hex... a rare and extremely difficult spell. But, it was extremely helpful, and having used it on her last day of Hogwarts, she wasn't going to get into trouble. "Calm down Hemoine. I didn't use an Impotency Hex, though the incantation may have sounded like it."
She smiled at Harry, glad to have pleased at least two of them. And she had her reasons to try to hex Malfoy. Still smiling, she turned back to Hermione when she asked her about the pendant. "Oh, this? It's from my dad. He gave it to me the moment I turned eleven. It glows at random intervals, if your wondering about that."
She gave a strained smile, trying not to reveal that she was lying. It was a hard task, but she pulled it off pretty well.
Ron's ears turned red as Hermione glared at him. He quite enjoyed the hex, and Hermione's disproval irked him. Trying to calm her down, he shook his head. "Cool it Hermionie, what's the worst Tal could do to a sixth year? Malfoy's an idiot, he probably deserved it, with what he's done."
He ignored Tal's murderous glare when he had mentioned her being weak. But, he was still nervous. Turning to Harry, he grinned, almost laughing. Harry's subtle sense of humor was very refreshing, and he enjoyed it. "Good thing Tal was brave enough to test, don't you think? I wonder what kind of revenge Malfoy'll plot..."
He turned back to Tal and Hermione when the pendant came up. Looking curiously at it, the Ron shook his head. What damage could it do? It wasn't that eveil looking, what could it do? And anyways, Tal herself had said it was harmless.

Hermione looked extremely carefully at Tal. Her emerald eyes were glittering oddly, and there was something not right about the way she was smiling... It seemed a bit strained. She took another look at the pendant, and saw it flash green again. She wondered if it was somehow linked to her emotions.
"Tal-"
Before she got a chance to fully ask the question, there was a hush that settled around the magnificent Great Hall. Dumbledore had arisen and was addressing the students.
"Welcome, welcome everyone, to another magnificent and educational year at Hogwarts. Although our numbers may have dwindled over the summer, that doesn't mean that Hogwarts is still an extremely safe place..."
"Of course it's a safe place! Why would anyone think otherwise? It says in Hogwarts, A History that this is the safest place in the whole world!"
As Hermione ranted about ignorant people in the world, Dumbledore finished his speech, and everyone was getting up to go to their dorms...
((Meh, was getting a bit bored with the whole feast thing. Hope nobody minds...))

((Hey guys. Sorry I've been inactive. A bunch of stuff has come up reacently with one of my friends and I felt that she took priority over my recreational activities on the internet. I'm sorry. I don't know how active I'll be able to be. I'm kind of emotionally drained at the moment...
Continue on without me. There's some good news, Serpintinea(sp?) has gotten her internet back, so look for an appearence soon.
I'll let you guys know how I'm doing in a few days. If the situation hasn't improved, I'll completely remove myself from the roleplay to let you guys have fun.))

Still fuming over the hex that Tal had gotten him with, Draco cast a look of malice across the room. Still half listening to Dumbledore's speech, Draco scrobbled out a note, folded it into a crane, and flew it across the hall to Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Tal. Scribbling out another note, he handed it across the table to Pansy describing what he had said. Trying to stife his laughter at Colin Creevey's sudden outburst of panic at the realization that antler's were on his head, Draco jabbed the Slytherins on either side of him and pointed out Colin Creevy. Smirking at Pansy's reaction to his note, Draco hoped for the reaction that he wanted.
Remembering what the note had said, he configured it in his mind: "Hey Potty and muggle company, we all know that I know your secrets. So, why doesn't someone take this hex off me because I can and will tell the whole school everything. I can manage it you know. But, if this hex is taken off me, I give my solemn word that no one will know of any of your secrets."
Smiling at his handiwork, Draco headed up to his own dormitory early to further plot his revenge. Giving it plenty of thought, he decided on what he had to do. Lying on his bed, he thought -I'm wicked and we all know it.- laughing silently. Sighing, Draco looked out his window in thought.

((This shall be my last post for a couple of weeks... I'm going off on a trip over spring break, so, if someone would like to double Hermione...?))
Hermione looked at the crane, and then looked back to where Malfoy used to be. Malfoy had just exited the Great Hall doors, and it looked like the effects of the hex was still upon him. He was actually limping a bit, which was unlike Malfoy to show any bit of weakness, unless he did it for attention, like when he stayed in the Hospitol Wing for a week over a broken arm. She stared at the doors thoughtfully for a moment, and then looked back and studied the crane even more. It was actually a really well folded crane. She had read a lot about the subject of Japanese Origami, just as a bit of "light reading", and was pretty knowledgeable on the subject. However, she knew it was from Malfoy, so it couldn't be good.
"Don't open that, Harry. You don't know what Malfoy could have cursed it with..."

Draco, stretching his lean limbs in boredom, he stood. Upon standing, a shooting pain went up his leg. Letting out a loud yelp of pain, Draco clutched his leg. "I think... I think I'll go for a walk..." he quietly said to himself and grabbed his cloak and walked, no limped, outside. Once outside, Draco flexed his leg a few times. Letting his foot on the grass tentatively, he tried to walk. Falling, he landed with a loud 'thud' to the grass. Cringing and making a face, Draco remained on the ground to catch his breath. Draco rolled onto his back and looked up at the stars. Within moments he lost himself in the stars and his own memories.
The next morning, the first thing he heard was "Hey, Malfoy, you'd better get yerself up or you'll be late." Startled, Draco fell off the bed and onto his chest. "Good god boy, give yerself a heart attack, will ya?" Looking up Draco saw Hagrid's looming figure. "I almost HAD one, you big oaf!" Draco yelled back. Giving a great laugh, Hagrid handed him his clothing. "Here's yer clothes. Get dressed and get to the Great Hall." Getting himself dressed and out of Hagrid's door, Draco hurried to the Great Hall. "The great big git..." Draco mumbled. Once inside, Draco remembered about his leg. Massaging it as soon as he sat at the Slytherin table, he heard Pansy Parkington pipe up "Something wrong Draco?" Looking up at her, Draco shook his head as if to say that it was nothing. Finally getting his foot back under the table, Draco tucked into his breakfast.
